Mexican store??

when trying to update my apps, I get the message, "Your account is not valid for use in the Mexican store. You must switch to the US store before purchasing".
Anyone else ever seen this...

Open the App Store app, go to the Featured pane, swipe to the bottom, tap your Apple ID and sign out. Tap again and sign back in. The App Store will automatically change to the store from which your account is authorized to make purchases.

Open your itunes store. On the main page scroll right down to the bottom. Under Manage you will will a change countries. Try that.

HT204266 How can I transfer money from my US account to my Mexican account?

I have a slight problem. Someone brought me a $25 iTunes card from the US (I currently live in Mexico). The problem is, I couldn't use that card with this account, for it is only for purchases in the Mexican store. For that reason I had to use it with another account I had from when I lived in the US. The problem is it won't let me buy anything because it needs me to verify my method of payment or something. It won't accept my credit card for some unknown reason. This is getting annoying, because I have $25 I simply can't use. Is there any way I can transfer that money to this account?

Gift cards are country specific as are itunes stores.
A U.S card can only be used in the U.S. You cannot use it from another country.

Try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your phone and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select the US.

2. No. due to licensing issues, content can only be purchased from the country store that is defined in your Apple ID. That is to purchase from a specific store you need to have a valid payment method from the country the store belongs to and a billing address in that same country.
This is not something Apple controls or has very much say in. Its the rights owners and licensing and distribution agreements, and other drm difficulties in different parts of the world that determine this. Media licenses and rights management is very prickly subject. If this were not the case, there would be no need to have country specific stores.
In short to purchase from the Mexican store you would need a Mexican account with a Mexican credit card and a Mexican billing address.

This is Little John from Street Corner Symphony. I'm glad you like our music, but it also ***** that the iTunes store doesn't have it available for sale down there. Unfortunately, Sony is picky about that stuff for some reason. The bad news is, it's not Apple's fault and there's little we can do because Sony's the one holding all the cards.
The good news? We're no longer with Sony, so when we release our first album in a couple months, we should be able to make it available worldwide so you don't have to resort to torrents. Since you did have to resort to torrents to find the Sing-off stuff (I'm not going to make a judgment call, the issue of legality versus morality is not black and white, despite what some other posters want to guilt you into believing), we would appreciate it if you'd help out a little with our fundraising to make our first album. - You can only use the iTunes/App store in the country yu are located and your account and payment method must be associated with that country. An iTunes gift card officallyu opurchased in the USA can only be used in the USA.

And your credit card would need to have a US billing address, or you'd need a US-issued iTunes card. Sorry, but the only iTunes Store you can use, unless you move to another country, is the Mexican store.

If you find that it is set to the correct region, log out of your iTunes Store account, restart your iPhone, and sign into your account again.

Wrong information in Spanish website

I've been noticing errors in the Spanish Apple website for ages now, but this is just too much now. The day of the new MB and MBP laptops I checked to see if the errors in the "Compare specs" were corrected sense they would have to redo some info. Wrong. There are still some specs that haven't been corrected. In the Wireless part of the table it says that the new MB and MBP laptops have 2.0 Bluetooth when it should be 2.1. I remember also that not too long ago it incorrectly stated that the MB and MBP laptops had wifi-g instead of wifi-n (that info was corrected just some months ago).
I also noticed that, in the new launch, the MacBook page had some information in French! That was so obvious that they corrected it just a day or so after the launch of the new models, but still... what's with having continuous errors in the Spanish website?
I personally think that the Spanish website section needs some serious quality improving.
Also there is no Castilian speaking forum for discussing this sort of things. A lot of people in Spain barely know any English so it's kind of complicated to get some feedback in the mother language.
PD: I've just checked the Mexican store and they have their information correctly written, unlike the Spanish one.

En las secciones de MacBook, MacBook Air y MacBook Pro, se muestra "AirPort Extreme integrada (802.11n)4 - Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR integrado" tanto para la versión de plástico como para las de aluminio. Esto es falso. Las versiones de alumninio llevan un controlador Bluetooth 2.1 en vez de 2.0.
En la sección comparativa del Mac Mini y del Mac Pro se muestra que la conexión del iMac es "AirPort Extreme (802.11g) y módulo Bluetooth 2.0+EDR incorporados". Esto es falso. Lleva un módulo 802.11n en vez de 802.11g y el Bluetooth es 2.1 en vez de 2.0.
Cuando la presentación de los nuevos MacBook y MacBook Pro había secciones de la página que estaban en Francés. Se corrigieron rápidamente, pero el hecho de ver fallos continuos en la web española da que pensar.
La solución más acertada pienso yo es que se revisen más detenidamente los contenidos antes de lanzarlos al público y repasar las especificaciones respecto a las que vienen en la página en inglés (o incluso respecto a la mexicana porque parece ser que en su web están más atentos a este tipo de detalles).
Comentar como detalle que fuera de la sección "Store", en la sección "Mac", las especificaciones técnicas sí son correctas por lo que ahí no hay que corregir nada.
Espero que se solvente el problema descrito pronto y que conste que lo hago por vuestro bien, que yo sé perfectamente qué especificaciones técnicas tiene cada modelo, pero ver las especificaciones mal puestas en la versión española me produce rabia al ver que se descuida de esa manera.

Wow, talk about being all over the place.... Did you try Settings>iTunes & App Store. Tap on your old ID and sign out and them sign in with the new ID?
