MFE in E5-00 NO SYNC , IPHONE 4 OK, WINDOWS 6 OK

hi i buyed a new nokia E5 for business mail with exchange but i did not think to have so many problems to sync my exchange folders!!
i'm the it admin of exchange server and i have no problem to set up new iphone 4 exchange account  ( 1 minute with all emails contact and calendar) and i came from a samsung windows mobile 6.1 with active sync , without problem.
the exchange server setting is absolutelly the same , no changes, i try now the iphone of my friend but my nokia e5 did not sync with exchange (and gmail has many problems to send emails...)
exchange 2007 sp1 with all patches
iphone 4 no problem to access to my public OWA server owaserver.mybusiness.com
windows mobile no problem
browsers no problem to access to owa light and full local and public
ssl or not ......same issue in my nokia E5
the last.... my nokia E5 web browser has NO problems to access to my owa public and local server but it gives me ONLY the LIGHT owa access that i can't change to full in the login page.
But after that i use my exchange account without problems so, NOKIA if you put a business email sync software in a business phone, please test it  before because i need my email to work the same day i buy new phone.
Any suggestion ? i try all setting more times , i have NO messages of errors when i finish the acocunt, i have the green icon but no email, no contact, no calendar...nothing.
my iphone 4 is not arrived so i went to a nokia e5  only for MFE and messanging ..but i did and error i think now.i'm very disappointed with nokia mail for exchange  , and there is not any patch or update for my E5.
thanks.

Same problem with my e5, but using ms exchange server 2003. No sync, got a message asking to accept a non secure certificate sent by exchange server everytime the phone tries to syncronize. For 5 days waiting any answer from Nokia support center. Still nothing but cri-cri...cri-cri Thank you Nokia for not connecting people

  • Sync iPhone with a Windows PC

I used to sync my iPhone via iTunes with my MBP. Unfortunately now I don’t have the MBP and I’m using a Windows PC. I want to ask if I would have any problems if I connect my iPhone to the windows PC and try to sync it with the iTunes I installed.

You can only sync to one itunes library at a time. Disable autosync in itunes and back up manually by right clicking on your iphone in the device list. Transfer your purchases the same way.
All media content will be erased during the first sync. Get your data back by restoring from your backup after you synced.
    About backups: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
    Restoring: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
Copy your itunes library to your new computer and restore it again. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1382 or http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1751
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able to merge your contacts and calendar.

  • Can't Sync iPhone 3G on Windows 7 64-bit

My iPhone won't sync since I upgraded to Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. The sync process begins, but then I get a diagnostic box asking me to send info to Apple. Because Win 7 doesn't have an address book I disabled syncing contacts. No luck - it says "Sync in Progress" for a bit, and then simply stops. I've got application upgrades waiting to download, but no luck at this point.
Any suggestions on how to work around this?
    Many thanks

This reply was obviously posted by a Mac user who knows nothing about Windows based PCs. Since Oct. 22, all new PCs pretty much come with Windows 7. For itunes to have this problem after 2 months is not justifyable.
This is like telling someone whos iPhone won't synce to their Chev suggesting they buy a Ford instead.

  • Syncing iphone calendar with windows calendar

I am trying to sync my iphone calendar with my windows calendar, but in itunes under info and "sync calendars with", it only gives me the option to sync with outlook. Any help would be appreciated.

Microsoft copied Google and now supports accessing a Hotmail or Windows Live Mail account as an Exchange account with the iPhone's Mail app. This provides Push access for received messages and for syncing contacts and calendar events over the air with the account on your iPhone.
For syncing calendar events direct with an application on your computer via the iTunes sync process, you need Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010.
I understand your second statement about the needing Outlook - but I'm trying to reconcile it with your first paragraph - there is support for calendar events over the air between Windows Live and iPhone? So it can be done, just not physically through syncing via iTunes?

  • Daren't sync iPhone to new Windows install. HELP

My old Windows installation was recently plagued by a virus, and as such I had to back everything up, and re-install. I've retrieved all my music off of my iPod Classic, no problems there. Set the iPod to manual, no stupid iTunes wiping.
I also have a first gen iPhone, running 2.1, synced with the old library and not this one. I daren't plug it in due to fear of having it wiped, which would be disastrous as it's the only copy of all my contacts. Photos and music I can re-sync by hand happily. But somebody please tell me it won't wipe all of my contacts, predictive text, text history, apps etc. Is there any way of making it a manual device like the iPod, and only change what I WANT to change?
Help needed, Thank You in advance.

Oh believe me I'd LOVE a Mac. I'd use Linux if I could, but with the iPod and iPhone I need iTunes. My brother has a MacBook, excellent piece of kit. Mac's my favourite OS, stable and pretty. But I've recently bought a crap load of Photo equipment so I have no real money left lol.
I'd have done an iTunes backup, but I couldn't actually open iTunes. I got all my Photos off the old pc, so that's fine. I just accept a Windows install won't last me that long at any one time. It's a sad fact of life.
I think what I'll do is just manually enter my contacts into Outlook, and then just sync with this library, as long as I have my contacts I'm not fussed, the music needs sorting through on it anyway.
It will work if I put my contacts into Outlook and then sync with this new install won't it?

  • Syncing iphone calendar with Windows Live Mail

Hi guys - I just upraded to Windows 7 and I'm looking to see if it's possible to sync the calendar with the Windows Live Mail calendar? I'm thinking the only option at this time is MS Outlook, but just thought I'd ask. I searched and read through 3 other similar questions on here but didn't find any answer, hence the new post. Thanks!

  • Syncing iPhone 3GS to Windows Vista

Ive synced my iPhone so many times, but now its decided it doesnt want to co-operate. I dont have that much knowledge of iPhones when they go wrong.. So heres what happens and what I need help with..
I connect my iPhone to iTunes and it starts syncing and backing up my iPhone and when it gets to loading songs it gets to about the second song and a windows message pops up and says
    iTunes has stopped working
Windows can check online for a solition to the problem (i have clicked this and nothing happens)
and it also just tells me to close the program
Its beyond frustrating now, its happened about 10 times
I also downloaded the latest version of iTunes but that hasnt helped...
    Help!

Can you play the song where the sync stops in iTunes on your computer? Are all songs inside your iTunes library? Did you already organize your media files using File > Library > Organize Library?

  • Unable to sync iphone 4 with windows 8.1 any suggestions

Unable to sync Iphone4 with windows 8.1 any suggetions

Were you using the latest version of iTunes - 10.1.2.x ?
For Windows machines there is a specific order of deinstallation that must be followed. If you didn't do it the way Apple specifies you may not have actually reinstalled the failing item.
Here is the correct method: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
If neither of those items are your problem... I'll have to let someone smarter than myself have a go at it ;-/

  • Syncing iphone with windows 7 contacts - error message outlook.pst not foun

I have set set up ITunes to sync my Iphone GS with Windows Contacts. When I sync I get an error message :
The file c:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033\Outlook.pst could not be found
Sometimes the error message comes up 2 or 3 times.
Secondly, my Iphone is syncing with something because an old version of my windows address book is now on my iphone. Of course if I add a new contact to Windows Contacts, it does not appear on my iphone.
I dont have Outlook installed on my PC. It was removed, but I guess I do have an old outlook.pst file from my old times with Windows XP.
So how does Itunes manage the sync and how can I stop it syncing with my old address book and use Windows Contacts? I have tried resetting my sync history but it did not work.
I am running Windows7 (upgrade from Vista).

I am also having issues with syncing my Iphone 3GS with the latest version on Itunes. I have for a long while now been doing just great. My contacts, phone numbers, emails have all synced very nicely, no problems. As soon as I downloaded the new Itunes 9.1 I can no longer sync contacts, and calendars, as usual.
I tried several things that were suggested to me in the troubleshooting but nothing has helped. It usually tells me that my computer is not set up for syncing, and after arranging that it still doesn't work. As well, it says it cannot find the requested services.
    Please help.
I am running windows 7, and have been for a while, it's not windows 7, it's the new Itunes upgrade.

  • Can you sync attachments from an iPhone to a Windows PC with Outlook 2007?

Can you sync attachments from an iPhone to a Windows PC with Outlook 2007? I would like to receive email on the iphone with attachments and then sync the attachments to a Windows XP PC with Outlook 2007 without Outlook 2007 having to connect to the mail server itself and having to separely download the attachment. Is this possible?
I have only tried one pdf file which downloaded wonderfully to the iPhone. I synced to the PC without the PC being connected to the email account. This also worked except that when I tried to open the attachment on the PC I got a message that the mail wasn't fully downloaded. When I went on=line on the PC, it downloaded the attachment. I would love to have this option because I can't access some email accounts from my corporate computer.

No it is not. The only information synced regarding email accounts is the email account information only and this is in one direction only - from your computer to the iPhone via iTunes.

  • How do I get voice memos from an un-synced iPhone onto a MacBookPro?

How do I get voice memos from an un-synced iPhone onto a MacBookPro?
Problem: when I click Sync I get a warning stating "Are you sure you want to sync music? All existing songs and playlists on the iPhone “Jarrod Vassallo’s iPhone” will be replaced with songs and playlists from your iTunes library."
I don't care if the iPhone syncs with the laptop (and the music is lost), I just cannot afford to lose the Voice Memos too as they are very important. Any suggestions?

To follow this user tip using iTunes 11, fist go to View>Show Sidebar.  Also, Transfer Purchases (step 5) is now in File>Devices.
If they're too large to email and you don't want to sync, the only other option is to use 3rd party software to transfer them using usb, such as PhoneView (Mac only) or Touch Copy (PC or Mac).

  • Syncing IPhone and Macbook Mail To Do List

Does anyone have a way to sync IPhone and Mail To Do List?

unless you delete your to dos then once checked they will still appear in the to do list alongside the incomplete ones.
one work around is to create smart mailboxes, one for your completed to dos, and one for your the others. to create a smart mailbox, go to mailbox>create smart mailbox, then for the rule, select to dos and then select to dos are complete, to dos are incomplete. once these smart mailboxes are created you can then view your to dos with less cluter.
    hope this helps
