MFE Invite people to meeting

Hello,
Is it possible to invite someone to a meeting planned with my E71? I have MFE 2.7.0.
Thanks!

Hi Michael,
I am told I can "invite" people (my developers) to my Apple team by sending an invitation to their email address. Is this possible?
Many thanks,
Tom

  • IPhone, calender, iCal, mail.app: probem inviting people to meeting

    Hi everyone,
last night I downloaded the 3.0 Version. Everything runs fine but...
I tried the new feature to invite people to appointments in calender. On the first sight everything works fine. But then there where Problems.
My colleague received my invitation on his iPhone but the iPhone could not open the "winmail.dat".
We then tried it using mail.app, where the "winmail.dat" was visible. The content of the "winmail.dat" could not be opened. Therefore iCal.app could also not handle the invitation.
This feature is very important to me and surely to many others.
Could anybody tell me what went wrong?
    kind regards, Uwe

Ah! after talking to different people we found out that this might be the support for Exchange 2007 from Microsoft.
What I have to tell is that we are using Zarafa as a replacement for Exchange.
Probably this will be tha cause for the missing functionality.
As far as we know the colleagues from Zarafa are working hard to update their Software.
    Still waiting for a solution,
    regards, Uwe

or propose new time button is grayed out so that I cannot accept the new time. When this occurs, I must create a new meeting request with the new time that has been proposed.

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

  • SyncML 2.5 invite people to event

Is there a way to invite people (or resources) to an event which you enter on your PDA and then send to the Oracle Calendar Server via SyncML v 2.5?

It's calendar appointments. I was getting a message something to the effect ":your device does not support meeting invitations." I swiped down, selected Settings and got some choices. The first is labeled "Local Calendar." No idea what that is but when I change from "None" to my email address, I get a warning "Are you sure? This email account is already attached to calendar "razdesigninc". Are you sure you want to switch it to calendar "Local Calendar?"" I have no freaking idea what this means."Local" is the calendar data stored ON your device. You already have a calendar setup with "razdesigninc" which is likely one of your email accounts.Set up with the one you prefer.dharding1 wrote:

As for the Uber app, my wife has it on her BB10 but got help from Uber to add the app. Uber apparently has no one who knows how to do this now. I really want to like this phone but the iPhone is looking better every day.So, does you wife not recall what she did? Likely it's a sideloaded apk file or from the Amazon store or through the Snap app.

  • Can't invite people to events in iCal

I'm having problems inviting people to attend events in iCal on my Macbook Pro. It works fine on my iMac through a MobileMe subscription and through MobileMe the two computers and my iPhone sync perfectly.
When I try and send out the invitations, it says that I need to create an address card for myself in address book. This is also synced through MobileMe to my iMac and iPhone so therefore I can't understand why it won't send out the email. The address details are the same and Mail works fine on both computers and the iPhone.
Does anyone have any suggestions - I'm sure this is a quick fix but I simply don't know what else to do!

You might want to open AddressBook, look for your address card (create one if you don't have one), and mark it as yours.
    Hope this helps

  • To invite people is not working

i want to invite people when making an appointment. this message is what i  get. who can solver this problem?

    TO_DATE converts a string to a date. TO_CHAR converts a date to a string. What is my_date?
Edit: Just realised you said "my_date" is a string.
    Try
    select * from view_date
    where   TO_DATE(my_date,'???')
between TO_DATE('01-dec-2006','dd-mon-yyyy') and TO_DATE('31-dec-2006','dd-mon-yyyy');or if you are dealing with literals you can use the more compact ANSI format:
    select * from view_date
where   TO_DATE(my_date,'???') between DATE '2006-12-01' and DATE '2006-12-31';Avoid 2-digit years. You have no idea the problems that caused a few years back.

We have attempted to disable all the cloud features of Office 2013 using GPOs. However, the "Invite People" menu option under Share in the Office backstage view still shows up. Is there a GPO or reg key to remove or hide this option? See image

Please try to use the Office Custom UI Editor to hide the the "Invite People" Task.

HOW CAN INVITE PEOPLE IN A GROU EVENT ON ICAL WITHOUT THEM SEE EACH OTHER EMAIL ADDRESS ?

Not the To: or CC: feild.

  • How to invite people to events in Calendar?

I have been using my Mac, IPhone and IPad2 since quite a long time and just recently I noticed that, unlike Calendar in the Macbook Pro,  if you add an event in Calendar, you can't invite other people to it. Does someone know if there is fix around it?

If you have an CalDAV calendar such as MobileMe, Gmail, Yahoo, etc... you should be able to invite people.
You can do this by going to the Calendar application > Clicking the '+' button to make a new event > Where it says 'Invitees' you can click that and add folks who you want to invite to that calendar.
This cannot be done with the iPad's default calendar, as there is no e-mail system that it is attached to.

  • Inviting people to photo stream?

    Hi,
has anyone here invited people to a photo stream from inside Aperture? I have tried it multiple times form different devices but I keep getting an error message. The invitation email gets sent out but after clicking on the "join photo stream" link, it says "An error occurred, please try again later." I'm trying for months now but I think iCloud is broken.
I've tried all the usual trouble shooting. Any help appreciated.

  • Why can't I invite people to events in Calendar app?

When I open my calendar app and click to add a new event, the "Invitees" field does not appear and I cannot invite people to events. The field DOES appear on my iPhone (which is setup with a separate Apple ID).
Does anyone know why this is happening? I have done countless searches to try to learn if there is a bug, but have not found anything.

    Figured it out.
Didn't have my calendar syncing with iCloud. Turning that on fixed the problem.

  • Exchange 2007: User getting meeting invitations from 3 meeting rooms

    Hi,
Hope someone can help. I have an Exchange 2007 server with various room mailboxes.  One user is getting meeting room invitations from 3 meeting rooms. He is not a delegate on these meeting rooms, nor does he seem to have special permissions on their
calendars. I checked a couple of persons who ARE delegates, to see if he was a delegate on them in case there was some weird looping thing going on but nothing. I also checked transport rules and there was nothing that could cause this behavior.
Anyone have any ideas, because I don't?
    Thanks.

Not sure that I follow this completely.  My understanding of this issue is that there are 3 or so resource mailboxes who I assume are setup to auto-process incoming meeting request.  For each received meeting request, another user is receiving
a copy of the meeting request, even though he is not listed as a delegate nor are there any rules configured to send to this user.
So my understanding of the question was, why is this user receiving meeting notifications for these calendars/resource mailboxes?
But now it sounds like there is a 3rd person involved.
Are there any calendar folder permissions or settings specifically defined in any of these 3 locations (resource mailbox, user1, colleague)?
Completely remove delegates from all 3 resources & apply the change.  Test to see if the problem still occurs.  If not, re-add all of the users who should be delegates and test again. If they get the message again once delegates are added,
then one of those delegates might be the cause.
For PublicDelegates, open ADSIEdit  and look at the Active Directory properties of each users.  These are attributes on the AD object.  Just open ADSIEDIT.msc, select the defaults in the Connect To window, go to the OU where the users
reside, and view the properties of the users.

  • Re-invite people to Creative Cloud team

I'm the administrator of my team, and I invited people about 41 days ago. Some have accepted the invite, while others have not, mostly because the email from Adobe was sent to their quarantine folder and they deleted it. Can I re-invite people to the team so they can accept?

    HI Benrasmsden34,
Yes you can invite those people again into the Creative Cloud for Teams account .
All you need to do is to go to your account on the Creative.adobe.com > Team management and then revoke the invitation sent to those who have not accepted the invitation yet . Once you have revoked the invitation , simply send the invitation again .
Remember you are only cancelling those invitations not the seats.
