Hi,
I had some difficulties with companys Mfe on my N86 from the start. It occasionally lost my account and the Email-software just announced that no account have been installet, do you want to install now. When you closed the app opened it again or after a device boot the account would be there again ang working normally. Then on one day there were no messages on my Mfe accoount even though everything was fine in my Outlook on my computer. Manual sync did not give any errors, it just did not retreve any messages.
I removed the account and tried to set it up again but it gave an error that an error has occured, please try again. Nothing seems to work, it always ends up in the same error. Also my phone keeps attaching and detaching to the internet every 5 minutes even though there is no Mfe account. It does this durin the syck hours from 8-16 that were set on my Mfe account so I guess it cant be no other application and the account is some how stuck and I cant switch the syncing off since there are no Mfe settings or account to modify.
I have the most resent software on my N86 so only thing left is *#7370#, but if anyvody has any ideas how to avoid that I would much appreciate it.

Is the data automatically synced after you do the original setuop or do you have to do something to make it sync? How are changes synced after the original setup?

How is the information synced after the original setup? Is it done automatically or do you have do do something? And if so, what?

After you setup Firefox Sync, you do not have to do anything else. It will automatically sync your data in the background. <BR><BR>

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at the top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
Report any errors it found for Disk Repair, don't need the ones for Permissions Repair.
Try it again & see if anything changed, but have Activity Monitor open & Show All Processes & sorted on CPU%, also have Console open if we can... maybe not when switching, but we'll see.
Does this happen if you just try to create a new admin user???

Safari keeps freezing after the 5.1.4 update

Safari keeps freezing up after the 5.1.4 update. I have no extensions. I also tried using firefox and it too freezes so it might not just be a safari problem.

I'm convinced that something is possibly broken in Safari 5.1.4. It's the first Safari update that has actually forced me back into using Google Chrome. I've had intermittent beach balls and system wide stalls since moving to 10.7.3 (including Safari 5.1.4). Removed every extension in Safari without avail. Activity Monitor and Console never conclusively pinned down the culprit. I finally moved back to Chrome, and my system is working again as intended.

Always back up your computer before installing updates. You may need to rebuild it with a pre-update library file. Details really depend upon exactly what you lost.

Quick answer: Select all the tracks on the album, File > get info, and either give them all a single "album artist", or check the "compilation" flag (as in https://discussions.apple.com/message/17670085#17670085).
If these are from multiple-CD sets you may also need to enter the appropriate information in the disc number fields. If they are not a multiple CD set you still need to make sure the disc number fields are set correctly or all empty.

Why do all my programs keep crashing after the most recent apple update?

Everything keeps crashing after i made an update on saturday. Anyone else having this issue, anyone know of any solutions. Safari, Chrome, all adobe products keep crashing. Very frustrating as today is a work day and have not been able to get anything done. I've lost a whole day of work and am really hoping for a solution so my whole week is not lost.

Have you got any programs which modify the OS, such as haxies and those fancy utilities? If so, you could delete them, preferably using the uninstaller provided by the supplier. Also, any out-of-date hardware which might be upsetting Lion?
If that fails, erase your hard drive and re-install Lion (which will be a clean install). Or erase and revert to SnowLeopard or earlier and wait for Lion to settle down.
However, for people running a business (you mention "work") it would be safer to install a new OS on to an external Firewire or USB HD and see how it goes. If it does not work, you can revert to your earlier setup. (If you can revert to an earlier workable OS, you could do that as well.)

It sounds like your apps are quitting unexpectedly quitting. I recommend starting by closing all the running apps on the phone:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that and restart the phone and test the apps again:

Only half my pics are being synced after the ios4 upgrade

Can someone please help. I feel like I tried everything. I have itunes set to sync the last years worth of photos. Itunes says there is 2200 photos but only 850 actually sync. I have plenty of room on my iphone. Every time I sync now it optimizes 575 pics but doesn't change the amount that are synced. I have tried removing them and re syncing, unchecking the sync photo box in itunes and then re syncing. Don't really know what else to do. very frustrating.

I am having to do each album as a seperate playlist because for some reason the artist info does not appear when I copy the cd
And? This has nothing to do with a playlist.
Just edit the info in the songs to add the artist. Select all the songs you want to change/add info, then right click-Get info.
You do not need to create apl,aylist for every album.
Go to menu View -> Show browser to see the Album and Artist.
Select one or some and it will show only the items under that listing.

Transport Directory and queue are out of sync after the restore

Hi all
I got a DEV server. Running ECC6 on MAXDB over linux. One user deleted some tables and we restored the database. No file system is restored.
Now we are having issues with the transports as the tranport directory is the latest and database is having old data about 3 days old data.
I am not able to see the same objects that we released in the old transports before the restore neither I am able to re-import the transport.
Please let me know the best way to make this in sync with the file system transports available.

Thanks for the response. I think I am not clear in my problem statement.
We restored the whole database. Nothing at the fie system level is restored. So Trans directory is having up to date work done (Released transports etc) but after the restore the information coming through the database is the old information. Like in SE10 the transport that was released earlier still showing released but showing less number of objects than the one we actually released before the restore. Even if we try to re-import the same transport it ends up in the error.
Please let me know how we can make file system and database in sync.

You entered your wife's seperate AppleID? Check you can login with the same AppleID here: http://appleid.apple.com/ on a computer.
Some of the photos in that link apply to setting up iCloud on a device from new, not when setting it up later. It won't look the same (the dark gray background) for you as you're setting it up now.

Can I keep track of the location of my lost iPhone using the lost mode in Find My iPhone even after the sim is removed?

My iPhone 5 is stolen, but luckily I had Find My iPhone enabled on iOS 7. The device is currently online(cellular is on) but location services are off. Is there any way to track its location.
Furthermore, if I turn on the lost mode and the thief turns off cellular data, would I be able to keep track its location?

Unless you enabled Find My iPad on it before it was stolen then there isn't any way to locate it. If you did enable it then you could try locating it either via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPad disabled on it.
If it was stolen then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc.
If it was never registered to your account then it won't appear on your support profile : https://supportprofile.apple.com/
The only other ways to find it that I know of (apart from on the actual device) are via the packaging, the backup on a computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4061
