Please help

Hi @Razeen ,
I see that you are not able to print over the wireless network, but you can scan. I can help you with this.
Temporarily turn off any Firewalls to make sure they aren't interfering.
I have provided a document to try and resolve this issue. Also download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it.
'Printer is offline' Message Displays on the Computer and the HP Printer Will Not Print.
Disregard the title.
What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (did it print or scan, any error messages)
Please provide in detail the results if you are still having issues.
Have a great day!
Thank You.

  • Wireless printer not working after 10.5 upgrade

My Canon All-in one MP600 was working fine using 10.4.11 and Airport Extreme Base Station. I upgraded to 10.5.4 and now the printer does not work. I checked the Airport utility and the printer shows under printer. The printer works fine on my wife's MacBook. The old printer setup utility app is not present on 10.5. Am I missing something? I followed the instructions to install the wireless printer but it still does not work. It works fine when I use the USB cable directly to my powerbook G4.

Found problem. Removed printer from Sys Prefs -> Printers and Fax and re-installed it. Works now.

  • Apple airport express wireless printing not working on Windows

I have installed the Airport Utility v 5.5.3 and Bonjour Printer Wizard on my Windows XP (SP3) machine. I have successfully set up the router, but am unable to print wirelessly. In the utility, I see my printer and have selected the checkbox Share printers over WAN. I have the driver printers installed on a Windows laptop, but am unsuccessful printing from the laptop.
I read somewhere that I need to set the Internet > Connection Sharing to Off (Bridge Mode). I did that and then got the following error and then can't connect to the internet via the router at all:
An error occurred while trying to access the Apple wireless device. Make sure your network connection is valid and try again. Error -6753.
I have tried setting up Bridge Mode several times and ensured my virus protection and firewall were disabled, but always the same results, so I reset my router and am back to using the Internet > Connection Sharing option of Share a public IP address.
The whole reason I bought this router is because it is supposed to be easy for wireless printing, but this has been far from easy to set up. So frustrating. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your quick response. Yes, I have Bonjour Print Services installed. I thought I had to select Share printers over WAN for some reason. Just now I deselected this setting, updated the utility and wireless printing still does not work .

  • HP 6980 wireless printing not working

I cannot get my printer to go wireless.  I have tried all the advice I have seen so far but teh wireless does not seem to connect.
I have tried the SES but the wireless light continues flashing and then turns off.
I have gone into the printer through its IP address and it does not come up with the router in the list.
I have manually entered all the details in the advanced tab, but when I unplug the ethernet cable the report page says
wireless status disabled (even though the blue light is on)
I can only think that the wireless facility is broken or am I missing something.
I am working from windows 7 and the driverers are installed and working normally when connected by ethernet cable.

Does anybody have an idea where to start looking at least? Where could be the problem?

  • Scanner and Wireless Printing Not Working

Most of the features in my new printer are not functioning probley. The scanner does not work at all. Whether I'm using th wireless network or the printer is connected with UBS. Wireless printing is not working too.  I don't know what to do. I tried to contact the customer support, but in order to do that, I had to provide the serial number. I put the number, but it said that they're unable to identify the serial number. Listed below all the information pf my frustrating printer.
My compurt is MacBook Air. OSX 10.7.5
    Model: Deskjet 3050A J611
    Serial No.: {Removed for privacy}
    FPU No.: CR23164001

    Hi Alsahafi,
I mention they were unable to verify the serial, was this a new in box printer?
Also, make sure you've installed the full feature driver for your OS X version, you can find this download here.

  • Wireless printing not working properly on HP officejet 4500

    Hi,
I have recently bought the OfficeJet 4500 wireless printer.
Now I have a problem when printing a document from wireless connection. When I send a document to be printed from wireless network, it does not transfer completely, and the document can’t be printed completely.  This accurse when sending small files (128 KB) and a bit larger (1,14 MB) files.
When printing the same document when connected to the printer with the usb cable, the document will print correctly.
I have followed the steps of wizard for wireless set up, and when I printed the confirmation page, all was set correctly.
The router I’m using is a Linksys WRT45GL. The IPs are set by dhcp and I don’t have a MAC filter active.
Can you help me with my problem?

Does anybody have an idea where to start looking at least? Where could be the problem?

  • Epson NX420 wireless printing not working

After upgrading to Yosemite, I noticed the printing capability on my NX420 was gone. I get communication errors and a prompt to download software; but after downing, a notice for error downloading. No updates show up via App store.
I have downloaded the software via Epson and installed; but it still doesn't work. My son's i5 iMac running Yosemite is printing fine wirelessly.

Hi @AllysonR , and welcome to the HP Forums!
I see you're experiencing connectivity issues.  I would like to help!
I'd recommend performing a power reset.  Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I'd then suggest following this document:

  • HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m Wireless Printing Not Working

I have a HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m running as a network printer that is not working on my Windows 8.1 laptop.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the all-in-one software, which did not help (and the solution center software had issues, but a test page did successfully print), nor did the HP troubleshooting software.
Whenever I click print nothing seems to happen, I see no document in the spooler.  I have also tried selecting the 'printer properties' only to have a pop up say the driver is not installed.
    I need help!!!!

Hi ZacharyW, and thanks for getting back to me!
I know you have uninstalled in the past, but I would like to take a bit of a different approach:
First, you'll want to uninstall the current software:
    Uninstalling the Printer Software
Then, put your printer into clean boot mode:
How to perform a clean boot in Windows
Once the computer is in clean boot mode, reinstall the software via the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.
Good luck and please keep me posted!

  • LaserJet Pr0 200 color MFP M276nw Touch Screen not Working correctly

Hello, I'm having an issue with a LaserJet Pr0 200 color MFP M276nw Touch Screen not Working correctly. I have followed the instructions to reset the printer, but now am unable to select 'English' as my language because every time I select the 'English' option 'Spanish' is selected. I am then given two options to select 'Si' or 'No' both of which can not be selected on the touch screen?
Anybody know of a way round this?

    Hi @dnhowes ,
I see that you are having issues with the touch screen not working correctly. I will do my best to help you.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Was it the Nvram reset back to factory settings that you tried or a hard reset?
Try selecting the option on the display a little higher above the icon to see if that helps. Some touch screens are finicky.
I find that on the Lab printers when I am selecting different menus.

  • HP Laserjet 1536dnf MFP document feeder does not work

HP Laserjet 1536dnf MFP document feeder does not work. I tried the suggested unplugged/plug and wait the required time but still no luck. Any suggestions?  It does not even recognize that there is paper in the document feeder.  Prior to this occuring, it used to say "document loaded"...now it says nothing.  I do not even get an error message.  It just does not work.

    Hi @jdm328 ,
I see that you are having issues with the ADF not recognizing the paper loaded. I would like to help you out today.
It might be a hardware or paper sensor issue with the printer, not detecting the paper being loaded.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
I have provided a document with steps for cleaning the ADF rollers and the separator pad, to see if that will help.

  • Printer not working following iPad uodate

Printer not working following iPad upgrade

    Hi,
Is the printer not mechanically working or are you having a problem with printing wirelessly from your device? Was the upgrade to the ipad software or did you get a new ipad?
Try restarting your apple device - It's a simple fix that sometimes helps re-establish the connection to the printer.
Other things to check would be that there have been no recent changes to the wifi password.

  • HP 5524 Wireless does not work after firmware upgrade

    HI,
I have just purchased an HP5524.  After initial problems setting up the WPA key from the printer screen, I connected via USB, found the printer and swapped to wireless successfuly. I then installed the printer software on all my computers at home successfully over wireless.
The printer then needed a firmware upgrade to support eprint (?), which is successfully connected, downloaded the fireware, installed and went through the boot cycles successfully.
However, ever since wireless will not work.  Before I return it to the retailer as "not fit for purpose" I thought I would ask the forum.  The diagnostics downloaded a tool, which I went through, but this did not offer solutions that I had not already tried.
    Thank you

    Hi,
Thank you for posting you query,
In order to resolve the issue, please make sure the printer is placed closer to the router and uninstall the printer drivers already installed and then start the instalaltion and seelct teh connection type as wireless network. Then select use USB to configure wireless and when prompted conenct the USB cable and then select the network and enter the encryption key follow the onscreen  instructions.
If the issue still persisits, please open the browser and in the address bar enter the IP address of the router and click on GO. This will take you to the router configuration page. On the router page, please click on Wireless Setup  and please make sure SSID Broadcast is enabeld and the Wireless Mode is set to Mixed or 802.11 B/G/N and the Wireless Channel is set to 11 and click on Apply. Then try to connect the printer to the network by using the CD.
