MG7520 win7 wifi - only prints a few lines.

I have a new MG750. It prints OK via USB connected to Win 7 lap top. It prints OK over WiFi from IPad and from Google Cloud. But WiFi from the Win7 lap tops fails.
Wht happens is: the first few lines of the page print. Then it pauses adn tries again sometimes on the second attempt it prints the document OK - other times it only gets a few lines again and then tries again - could be OK or not for the third time.
Microsoft want $90 for a remote system scan before they will help.
I have installed latest driver from Canon and all Win 7 updates.

I got a response from HP. They told me to reload the print driver even though Leopard was supposed to do this automatically. That fixed the problem. You can find the driver on their website. Let me know if you can't find it.

Just got a new MacBook Pro and did a clean install of Leopard, then migrated all else from my PowerBook. Now when I try to print on my HP deskjet 845c, I get about 1/8 of a page and then it puts in a page break and starts on a new sheet. This printer is hooked up via USB. When I send something to print on the network printer, it prints fine. I get the same results whether printing from Word, Safari or Preview. The HP website says the Leopard installs the latest driver for this printer.

Will only print the first line or so to a HP Officejet Pro K550

The Mac has been connected for a number of years to the printer, but suddenly it started to only print the top line or so of a text. The problem occurred later in the day having worked fine in the morning.
The self test for the printer works fine, producing a full test sheet, including all colours (and there is no indication that ink is running low).
It looks as if it is almost certainly a problem with the Mac itself, especially since the printer works with other, non-Mac - laptops.

D110 only prints the first line.

If I send an item to the printer, it only prints the title. I have tried to copy to notepad and pasted to an email. Then sent it to the printer thru an email. It only prints the first line. How do I get it to print the whole item?

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.

I talked to Adobe Support tonight and found this issue to be a known problem with some of the Adobe Cloud products when using older hardware, in this case the C782.
So, we found a workaround. Unfortunately the work around isn’t efficient and adds more steps to their normal printing routine
Open InDesign and create, modify delete the card
Select FileàExport
A window will appear. Pick the location you wish to save the file
Once the File is saved another window will appear
“EXPORT Adobe PDF”
An Export to Adobe PDF window will appear. Accept all defaults. MAKE CERTAIN “VIEW PDF
After EXPORTING” is CHECKED
Select Export
Once EXPORT is complete the file will open automatically in Adobe Acrobat
Most likely the screen will be very large
Select the + - sign at the top of the page to adjust the page size to view the image
Select FileàPrint
The Print window will appear
Select the printer from the drop down
# of COPIES is just below Printer
Select OK

I only print the top line and bottom line, content in middle doesn't print

When I print an email only the very top line at the top of the page prints and the very bottom line at the very bottom of the page print. For example the bottom line says page 1 of 1 and then on the other side the date and time. Top line has the web address. When I open internet explorer and print and email I have no problems. This just started out of the blue a few updates ago.

If there isn't a Page Setup in the Print Dialog, open Text Edit>Edit>Page Setup, check borders there or use Custom Page setup & save.

LaserWriter 630 only prints the vertical lines test page

I have resurrected a LaserWriter 630 pro that hasn't been used for a year or so, which starts up and the green ready light comes on. When I print to it, the pages come out blank. I have tried printing a simple text file, which was blank, and a one page PDF (simple text also). In the end the PDF took so long to process I cancelled it. Should it take this long?
The only ink I can get it to leave on the page is the first page of the paperclip-in-hole test page. It then prints a second page which is blank. Any ideas?
I have a copy of the Apple Printer Utility, and have printed it's font test page, which is blank also.

Thank you for the info, I hadnt found that detail anywhere. I will try it when I get home.
I think the laserwriter is a great printer, and wouldnt swap it for a brand new one unless it caught fire!
I gave it to my mother 2 years ago who used it for a while, then bought a colour inkjet and it ended up unused for a year or so. I have just taken it back to replace a much newer but much more irritating colour laser I found at the dump. I believe the last time it was used it worked perfectly. I gave it a new set of rollers about two years ago.
I am not afraid of a bit of multimeter probing!

Officejet 6500 wireless only print header and footer.

I have Dell desktop and Toshiba laptop with HP officejet 6500. On my Dell, pages from the internet (email, etc) only print the top line and bottom line of the page. Pages from Word, Exel, etc print fine. On my Toshiba laptop every thing prints ok. This is a Dell 519 desktop. This is a wireless setup. Hope this is enough info. Just to be clear - the 6500 is connected to your router via wireless? What brand/model of router?
Your MBPro has two instances of the printer (one USB and one wireless)? If so, delete the USB instance. Also, turn printer sharing off.
Now, go to the other computers and delete and re-add the printer in the print queue:
- Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
- Select the printer in question and click the minus sign at the bottom of the list
- Select the plus sign to re-add it. Look for the printer with Bonjour next to it, select it and wait until the "Add" button becomes available. Click it.
If this does not work, do the same thing, only instead of the second step, right (control) click the print queue area and select Reset Printing System.

I'm going to guess videos buffer for a while also...
Two possibilities, one is you should close apps on the iPad, the other is your internet speed is not able to handle the demands of a high speed device.
To close apps: Double click home button, swipe up to close the apps.
To solve internet problem, contact your provider. Basic internet is not enough for video games and movies. Your router may be old and slow.

Printing only Text and Subtotals lines in A/R Invoice not Regular lines

How can I create in PLD for A/R invoice that only prints the Text and Subtotals lines in A/R Invoice but not the regular lines the A/R Invoice ?

->> Choose the Print Layout Design(PLD) on Top of the Menu Bar.
->> Open the A/R Invoice(System) PLD and Save as the New PLD.
->> Open the New PLD.
->> Choose the Database field(make) on Top of the Menu Bar.
->> Create the Database field in Repetetive Area.
for example,
Row Line Total Field:
Table -> INV1 - A/R Invoice(Item).
Column -> LineTotal.
->> Choose the TEXT field(make) on Top of the Menu Bar.
->> Create the TEXT field in Repetetive Area Footer or End of Report.
->> Create the Database field in Repetetive Area Footer or End of Report.

Document Total Field:
Table -> OINV - A/R Invoice.

When I print a Word document to a shared printer, print preview looks fine but the printed page has too much blank space at the top and doesn't print the bottom few lines.

When I print a Word for Mac document to a shared printer (that is connected to my iMac) from my Macbook Pro, print preview looks fine but the printed page has too much blank space at the top and doesn't print the bottom few lines. I have tried to adjust the margins and the page setup settings but to no avail. It used to print fine until recently. Is there a way to fix it so that the printer prints what print preview shows?

I should add that when I e-mail this document to myself and print it directky from the iMac, it prints fine.

Header line only prints on first page of multiple page document

Hi, I've created a SmartForms table and it has the Header, Main, and Footer sections. I've created table lines for the Header and Main sections. In the Header section, I've checked 'at Start of Table' and 'at Page Break'. The form prints multiple pages fine, BUT the header line only prints on the first page and not at any of the multiple page breaks.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this?
