Mi iPad email is sending emails that I have not generated. I have been hacked on my laptop and think my iPad is infected. What can be done to remove any problems.

Mi iPad sending unsolicited emails to contacts each day. My laptop was infected. I changed all of my passwords but these messages are still going out one per day. I think my iPad has been hacked. What can I do to repair and clear infection.

Assuming you have not jailbroken your iPad, it is not your iPad that is sending the emails.
Your email account well may be, from the web mail or someone accessing your email elsewhere, but these emails do not originate from your iPad.
Change the password to your email account again to something very secure and update it on every device/computer you use to access your email. Activate any extra security features your email provider offers such as two-factor authentication.

    Log out of the iTunes Store on your device:
    Settings>iTunes & App Store...tap your Apple ID, then select "Sign Out"
    Reset your device:
    Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
    1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
    2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
    3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
    After the device has restarted, sign back in to the App Store as above.

    This is a continual problem. Even when I close Firefox and try to access it again, it takes minutes before I can access it again. Today was the first time that I received the window saying that another window of Firefox had to be closed before I could access Firefox when I hadn't even tried to access it to begin with.     I have a HP Media Center PC with XP Professional with all 3 fixes. I don't know what more details you need. When I start page comes up for Firefox it is properly positioned. When I start to type in the search box of Google it jumps to the bottom of the page making it necessary for me to scroll back to the top before I can try to type again. Very annoying!

    Can you check the Object Security for the Analysis Menu and Export button and see if it is restricted?

    How to fix
    If this is an AOL issue, try these: go Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select your AOL.com account > SMTP from the Account Info Page > SMTP from the SMPT Page > make sure that the Server is ON, make sure that the Host Name is smtp.aol.com. Further make sure your username and password are correct and added in the Outgoing Mail server; make sure that Authentication is set to Password and make sure that Server Port is 587
    If this is not an AOL email: go Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Accounts >Account Info > SMPT> turn off primary server, turn on other (e.g. AT&T) SMTP server.
    Go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Your Account > Outgoing mail Server SMTP > Primary Server then turn Server ON and fill in both User Name and Password under Outgoing Mail Server.

    I get several thousand emails a day and have no issues. Sounds like either the mail account in Mail is configured incorrectly or the Exchange Server (I'm assuming you meant Exchange Server and not Outlook Server) needs a software update or may have a setting that doesn't play well with other mail clients.

    Have you checked ALL the settings including the port assignments? Easiest way to get those back to is to delete the email account from the iPad then redo the email account. Usually the ISP providing the email account will have instructions on their web site.

    I concur with Meg; having a number of iPads with the Smart Cover, I can say without a doubt that there is no possible way the case could bend the machined-alumnium case of iPad. The force exerted by the magnets is not anywhere near sufficiently powerful; if they were, not only could you not remove the cover, it would be attracting magnetic objects to the iPad. It's not even easy to bend the iPad yourself, much less the weak magnets of the case, which aren't even strong enough so you can pick up the iPad by the case without it coming off.
    Something else has bent your iPad, if it indeed is bent (confirm with a verified straightedge; there's an optical illusion that makes the iPad appear to be bent when looked at edge-on, but it's not actually bent). If it is really bend, have you been carrying it it a backpack, attache case or other item with other objects? Set anything heavy on the iPad? I bet you, or someone, has, or something like that, and in such a case the damage will not be Apple's fault and hence not covered by the warranty.
    But as Meg suggested, you can take it to an Apple Store and discuss the matter with them. The cover, though, again cannot possible have bent the iPad.
