Ya resolvi el problema solo basta con dehabilitar el anti virus (Karpersky o NOD, etc)  y listo!! problema resuelto, te deja instalar iSO 5!

    he/she is not referring to midi support. Its probably not an equitable trade off to purchase a 600 dollar (piece of junk at that price) midi drum kit for a program as crummy as garage band.
    They mean to use the controller as a keyboard keypad. There are drivers to use USB xbox controllers with osx. I too am having problems with them recognizing garage band.
    My xbox 360 driver pane also freezes when selected. Possible that is the root of the problem. First program I've used on osx that kills the OS when selected. The controller is "on" and available in the pref pane. But does not actually "start'

  • Rock Band 3 keyboard and GarageBand not working - help!

    i'm having trouble using my Rock Band 3 keyboard as a MIDI input device to my Mac Pro (Lion) running GarageBand.
    i'm using a generic midi-USB converter cable
    i connected the keyboard & computer, plugging the midi IN plug of the cable into the midi OUT socket of the keyboard.
    RESULT:
    RB3 keyboard: all 4 red lights on the keyboard flashes
    Midi-USB converter cable: red power LED = on, amber "IN" LED flashes about 3x per second
    GB: program does 'detect Midi device'
    BUT, pressing keys on keyboard has no effect, and there is no indicator on bottom blue display panel of GB when i press a key.
    PS: if i REVERSE the connection, just in case teh cable was wired wrong (plug midi OUT cable into midi OUT socket), it still doesn't work, but 2 differences:
    RB3 keyboard: a single red led comes on (opposed to all 4 red lights on the keyboard flashing)
    Midi-USB converter cable: red power LED = on, IN and OUT LEDs stays off

    I purchased Rock Band App and it charged my account $15 but I cant find the app. Can anyone help me figure out how to find it or if it even gave it to me?

    What worked for me was deleting the Rock Band application, redownloading/reinstalling it, and then redownloading all my in-game purchased songs. Pain in the neck, but it worked.

    Have you installed the Creative Cloud management (in the list of apps on the cloud download page, find the adobe manager. That must be downloaded and installed first. Most browsers will jump to that install when you select one of the other apps first. But some browsers are having a problem doing so. Once the manager is installed and running, you can find illustrator listed in the manager. Click the install link next to the Illustrators name. That will download and install illustrator for you)?

    If Flash is important to you, you should be able to download a Flash Player from theAdobe.com site. I wish I could do without it, but there always seems to be something important that is available only in Flash, so I cave in and update the Flash version on my computer. This perpetuates what I believe to be an inferior graphics app, but that's life.

    Descargar cualquier aplicación es tan sencillo como descargar el programa que crea un panel llamado Adobe Creative Cloud.
    Una vez instalado, lo abres y de la lista de aplicaciones puedes descargar las que quieras, todas funcionan durante un periodo de prueba de 30 días.
    A las que te hayas subscrito no tendrán ese limite.
    Para entrar a ese panel, utiliza tu clave y contraseña, las utilizadas al crear tu Adobe ID.

  • Rock Band Drum Kit in Garageband

    Hi Everyone,
    Yesterday as I was playing Rock Band, I was struck with the idea of trying to get the drum kit to register as a MIDI/electronic drum kit on my Mac. I looked all over on the support forums but didn't find a definitive answer on this. A quick google search produced this YouTube video:

    Basically, after installing two drivers I was able to plug my Xbox 360 drum kit into my MacBook, and assign the drum pads to certain keys that you then use in the "musical typing" function of Garageband.
    It works perfectly (although I can hear a bit of a delay, time for a RAM upgrade), and the Rock Band drum kit is sold as a standalone piece for only $80.
