Sí, definitivamente tienes que desactivar Find my iPhone para poder restaurar, y para ello necesitas WiFi o datos móviles.
Lo que puedes hacer es poner el teléfono en modo DFU (es un modo especial que sirve para restaurar cuando el sistema operativo no está funcionando muy bien), los pasos que tienes que seguir para activar este modo son:
- Conectar el iPhone a iTunes
- Apagar el iPhone
- Mantener presionados al mismo tiempo los botones de reposo/activación y el botón Home durante 10 segundos; y luego de esos 10 segundos dejar de presionar el botón de reposo/activación sin soltar el botón de Home
- Mantienes presionado el botón de Home hasta que aparezca un mensaje en iTunes diciéndote que se ha detectado un iPhone en Modo de recuperación y necesita ser restaurado
Ahí es donde, presionas Alt para cargar el firmware de iOS que bajaste; esta vez no te pedirá que desactives Find my iPhone porque está en "modo de recuperación" y no se puede acceder al sistema
Una vez que hayas terminado de restaurar correctamente, se te pedirá que ingreses tu usuario y contraseña de iCloud, pero esta vez en la computadora (no en el iPhone).

Atención a todos los que no les carga el iPhone ya sea el 4 (en mi caso) o el 4s o el 5 , Yo tenia mi IPhone funcionando a la perfección con IOS 6 despues de actualizar a IOS 7.0.4 empece a tener problemas como pérdida de señal y quedarme con el mensaje de "Sin Servicio" , y el de que aveces carga y aveces no o es que lo emchufas con 0% de bateria y al encender en 4% ya no carga más , eso es porque Apple actualizo IOS 7 con soportes de Seguridad que es para Bloquear cables no Originales de apple ya que los originales llevan un chip dentro firmado por apple o mejor llamado un cable certificado , si no tienes cable original no podras ni sincronizar ni nada ya que al conectarlo te lo reconozera como "Unknown Device" , y la única solución es comprar un Cable Original , si no quieres gastarte dinero y apañarte con el que tienes mientras que te compres el original enchufa el que tienes al IPhone y tienes que estar conectandolo y desconectandolo al enchufe repetidas veces hasta que veas que el móvil empezó a cargar (tiene que estar encendido).Saludos

I have a problem with my iPhone 5 stopped working the sleep / power and simultaneously refused to obey the HOME button. I can not use either one or the other. I can not enable or disable the device, display lights up when you plug the charger. same display works fine as it is surprising. or maybe someone knows what is the reason for this? is there any way to solve this problem?
More than likely its a hardware issue, I have never encountered such a problem and best bet is to just go get it replaced. If you have insurance on your device apple will replace it as long as there was no water damage, if you dont have insurance they will charge $200 more or less. Hope you get it fixed

i have the iphone 3gs and ive dropped it a few times. when i press the home and lock button, it will not turn on, but when i plug it in, it says in big font IOS 6 and when i slide it open it says connect to itunes or emergency call. it wont turn on when i plug it in to my pc. tips?

Why is the wifi reception on my iPhone 5 so poor. I'm not talking about in my own home with my own router. I'm talking about AT&T hotspots, public hotspots, etc. I can hold my 3GS and my 5 side by side, the 3GS picks up more signals with more strength. The 5 seems to have a weaker wireless network than its predecessors. It's very frustrating because I can be 20 feet from a wireless router, and still only show 2 bars, if I don't end up losing the connection. What gives??
I've done the resets...no real help at all. Im Also on my 2nd iPhone 5. The first was replaced because of a faulty external speaker module. Both phones wifi reception pretty much suck. ESPECIALLY if the case is on. I'll luck out a little bit by taking the case off...but not much.

Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

Yes, this is activation lock. Return the phone for a refund, as it is useless without the activation information of the previous owner.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "white blob." Does it look something like this?
If so, that white circle that you see on the right side of the screen is Assistive Touch and can be turned off in the Accessibility settings on the iPhone.

Yes, I understand that. But The screen issue is not a result of user damage. The phone was not dropped when the screen got cracked. My daughter was standing in a chair at the table and dropped one of her toys onto the bottom of the phone and cracked it right by the home button. (Nowhere near the LCD/digitizer flex cables, connections, or logic board components) then a few months later my phone had died, I plugged it in, it showed it was charging, then Apple logo disappeared and screen didn't work. AFTER contacting Apple about the issue and them telling me that it "is a result of the very minimal crack to the sheet of glass that has no relation to the LCD or Digitizer and that the warranty does not cover it I had taken it upon myself to change the LCD/digitizer to no avail, as well as backlight ic and backlight coil to no avail. But how do I go about letting Apple know that it is in fact NOT due to the cracked screen nor is it due to the flex cable connections? I can't. So the lady that works the call center phones trying to "convince" me that she knows what she is talking about and "convince" me that it is from the cracked screen I have to take her word because I can't show Apple that its not because of that without paying them $199 to fix the screen in which case they will just send me a new phone rather than fix the faulty hardware under warranty.

I have the same problem. Apple needs to sort itself out. How they can release such bug ridden upgrades it astounds me for a business of this size. I now can't sync anything since upgrading, and all my photo's and contacts have been deleted.
I use my iphone 5 for business so now I have a mobile device with no contacts and no answer from Apple to the problem. This is so not cool.
Apple needs to notify their customers of these MAJOR issues with 6.1 or retract the update.
