Mi iphone no reconoce la sim de lowi
El otro día me cambié de compañía, a Lodi exactamente, tuve que esperar hasta que la portabilidad hubiera completado.
Entonces ayer metí la nueva Sim, y no me la reconoce, me dice "no hay ninguna tarjeta SIM", entonces dudamos en varias opciones, 1. Que el móvil no fuera libre, pero vimos que si que lo era, probamos con varias tarjetas de distintas operadoras y si que funcionaba, entonces la otra opción era que la tarjeta estuviera estropeada, pero la probamos en distintos móviles y si que iba, entonces llamamos a Lowi, y nos dijeron algunas cosas, que tampoco funcionan, nos dijeron que preguntaremos en Apple, a ver si ustedes sabían algo, o podían hacer algo

Baje de iTunes el nuevo software iOs 5 a mi Iphone4, ya instalado se apago el tel. luego reinicio pero ahora no reconoce la SIM y no me deja activarlo!!

Apple can do nothing. As Tim said, only the carrier to whom the iPhone is locked can authorize unlocking. You must contact that carrier.

carriers pay most of the phones price for the customer
but this come at the cost of the phone only being able to work
with the carrier this is called a sim lock
the only people who can remove a sim lock is the carrier which
the phone is sim locked to they been doing it like that for at least 20 years -

The 4G LTE SIM card in your device contains information about your plan, device and more. You can set a SIM PIN so others won’t be able to access that information if your SIM card is removed from your device.
If you remove your SIM card and insert it another device (e.g., when you upgrade to a new device), you’ll be asked for the SIM card PIN. You can find your SIM card PIN in My Verizon if you’ve forgotten it. Or, if you’ve entered your SIM card PIN unsuccessfully 3 times, you’ll need the PIN Unblocking Key (PUK) to unlock your SIM card again. After using the PUK, you’ll need to create a new PIN for your SIM card if you want to secure it again.
To locate the SIM PIN / PUK numbers for your 4G LTE SIM card:
Navigate to the Overview page in My Verizon.
Click My PIN and Unblocking Key (PUK) under About My Device.
Your default PIN and PUK will be displayed in a pop-up window.
Click Close when you’re finished to return to the My Verizon Overview page.

sounds like you bought a phone that is still locked to a different phone carrier, contact that girl and find out.
