Mi ligthroom get crazy

I am using LR for some months. It's a good software for me, but yesterday Its get crazy.
First problem.
In one folder with 40 photos, the first one was sustituted by another. The photo number 36 was twice, but photo number one had dissapeared.
If I sort by date, a photo number 36 appears in the first place, and again in the 36th place.
Then I tried to import the lost photo (number 1). But LR said me that this Photo was already in Library. I checked "Show Photo in library" and LR show me the Photo number 36.
The solutionn was delete the photo number 36 (twice) and reimport photos number 1 and 36
second problem.
In one collection with 2 photos, I add another 2.
after that, collection had 4 photos but only show 2.
thrid problem.
After I show all photos order by date, I get a problem similar to firts problem. But with a lot of photos. (a lot of photos without order, and a lot of them that was repeated)
I thing that my library is corrupted, .. but how can I rebuilt without loose my work????
Note: I have 8000 photos in my library

I would say first of all make sure you do not have any filters on. Many times I have thought I was missing pictures but realized I just had a filter enabled for that folder.
2nd, try backing up what you have then restoring from a previous backup.

Open Illustrator and I get crazy colors all over

When I open Illustrator, I get crazy colors all over in my work environment (not all over the screen and not just on the art board but in the whole environment.) The colors are not always the same. Opening and closing the file doesn't solve the problem, I have to close the entire program. I can have multiple .ai files open, one might have crazy colors but the other doesn't. If I open Illustrator again and then the file, the problem doesn't necessarily happen again even with a file that was recently crazy.

From your email this does sounds like something random and sporadic that does not have a pattern. Has this started recently, or is this on a new machine. Has anything changed such as a font you did not use before, or an image or strange file format some of these file have. A corrupt/damaged image of something like a cmyk jpeg(the format was meant to be RGB and some programs occasionally act funny) can cause something like this.
Are you able to solve this by possibly toggling preview mode Command Y(Ctrl Y Win), view >> overprint preview. The preview almost looks like a cable is loose from your monitor to computer. Clean your computer with a can of compressed air and focus on any dust laying on the monitor card and cable connections outside the computer.
Sorry for all the wild guesses, but if you can tell us more about your system and any patterns you find, that can help.

[SOLVED] HP printer gets crazy.

I've been using Arch Linux and my HP Photosmart C4680 for last month with no errors. After a few days without any print, today this printer gets crazy.
Already removed and installed cups and hplip packages.

I've got the same problem with my Photosmart C6100 at home and my Photosmart C4400 in my student room.
It seems this issue came from the last hplip update from I don't know when. I didn't try to print immediately after it was updated, so I discovered this issue a few days before taking plane.
My parents still can print with their Ubuntu 9.10.
I have exactly the same piece of art than shown above.
I've installed the C6100 as a new printer today, so there is no residual config files from it before hplip was updated.
I'm not in a urge for it, but it will become problematic in the end of holydays
By the way, the scanner still work properly.

Getting crazy text in firefox and other app's

I have been getting some crazy text in programs such as firefox

It starts of normal but after about 10-15 minutes it starts to glitch out like that. it seems to be going on with any gui app. As terminal programs still look ok.
I am running a fully updated system on 3.6.7-1
Any help is appreciated.

The initial description and first comments might be confusing, see the last few comments..
I have the same issue, but _only_ in the tab titles in chromium. Anything else works *fingerscrossed*. My work machine looks different, I had to switch to nouveau driver there.

New MacPro..I'm getting crazy because of errors

hey people,
i bought mid last year the new macpro, the lowspec config but with 16GBRam and the D700's instead of the d300's. running 10.9.5
i'm a freelance director and editor, and the decision why i bought the macpro, was the power, portability and the promised stability.
mostly when i do heavier grading in blackmagics davinci resolve (which is handled as a reference on the official macpro website!) i get faulty corrupt lines on the export.

but now i'm getting these lines also when exporting from premiere pro CC - ProRes 720p. just the editing - no grading, effects. etc. this just cant be possible..and its driving me crazy.

it mostly appeared in davinci when i did heavy grading and the machine became hot. but with premiere now is ridicoulus..as you know as a director/editor i have to deliver on point..but with export results like these it is now always possible...
so i researched the internet for that problem, and many others where facing that too. they said it is especially a problem with the d700's. and only a complete hardware swap (only the gpu's of course) had solve their problems. i went to the apple store, told the guy my problem and also the internet research that only hardware swap will help. so he ordered the ne d700's that the technician can put them in. next day the technician told me this problem cannot be the gpu's as they did their special-hyper-super-hardware tests and there was no problem with the gpu's..so i got my MacPro back without any changes etc.
he told me i should update davinci resolve..but now the problem appears in premiereCC too..
maybe some of you guys know what to do? this machine costs a **** of money, and it should guarantee to run stable...

Discussing the bigger issues:
So far, all we know for sure is that some users seem to have a problem with these specific packages on certain Mac Pro late 2013s (but not on Apple Final Cut Pro-X). Maybe its is just my diagnostics background, but I think this problem smacks of a Hardware problem or a design problem (possibly a graphics chip to display RAM problem) that is particularly vicious at higher temperature operation, such as after graphics-computing for hours.
I also find it very telling that the original design by AMD featured Error-correcting RAM, and that the final design for Apple did not include that. [Did AMD see problems in developing this chip that caused them to use Error-correcting RAM initially? It makes me wonder if the chip-to-RAM margins are cut too close, and that some parts of some chips are not quite fast enough for some RAMs under high-heat conditions.]
It appears from this anecdote, "we won't change your graphics cards because our diagnostic says they're fine" that Apple has produced a better diagnostic, and essentially turned it back to the software Vendors saying "our Hardware works, now what is your problem?"
It is shameful that neither the software vendors nor Apple have SOLVED this problem, but it seems to me that the onus should now be on the software vendors to provide resources and work with Apple and press for a definitive diagnosis and solution on this problem. I think there really is a problem in some of these Macs.
Practical considerations:
I suggest you use something like SMC fan control to boost the base fan speed before setting out on a complex graphics job and see if it does any better.

Getting crazy: weird malfunctions in Blackberry Q10

Dear all,
so this is my story and to put one thing ahead, I have never experiences such a desaterous device like the Q10. But all started another way: Using Blackberrys for many years and being very happy with the no frills functionality of them I could not wait to get the Q10 to escape moving to an iPhone. I have an iPhone for private use, but in a business context when you need to write emails and organize yourself it is just not for me. So I received my Q10 2 weeks ago. In the beginning all went well, given it just would not manage to sync the contacts I had imported from my Bold 9700 and create duplicates in the contacts when synchonizing with my MS Exchange server. Fixed that manually and was already upset about that. However since a few days the Q10 is doing things that drive me crazy:
It randomly deletes contacts that I have put into manually. They just dissapear. But it gets worse:
My Q10 deletes single phone numbers from contact entries and when I put them back it just merges this contact randomly with another. Say you have Bill and John, two totally unrelated persons in cour contacts. Suddenly Bill's mobile number dissapears. You put Bill's number manually back and the next thing is that the contact is named John, John's mobile number is in the contact that was supposed to be Bill's and John's mobile number appears there as well. However Bill's picture stays, but Bill does not exist any longer as a contact.
I am not talking about the 1000 smaller things that are just not refined enough for a phone in that price range not speaking what you would expect from a Blackberry (like not being able to mark emails and delete them in one move, unstable Skype app and all the other things that have been described in other posts)
Anyone a idea how to fix this? I am sure that I will throw this bloody thing out of the window soon or make it suffer an even worse fate that might include fire, accid or other things that make it suffer a painful death.

Martin, that's abnormal and the best thing is to wipe the device and start over.
How are your contacts transferred to the device in the first place, what is their source?

That is totally possible. In the hub listing of your email, touch the lower right three dots overflow icon > Select more.
Then touch each email to highlight those emails you wish to delete and when all are selected, touch the lower right trash can icon.

Getting crazy selecting dates on a mysql table (long)

I have a problem that is driving me crazy.
I have a table containing 2 columns (QUOTATION and DATE).
I want to extract only the records that have the date falling
between
a specific range.
I've set 2 variables to hold the two dates:
$start_date=date

$end_date=date

But when I run this query:

I get ... nothing selected.
If I use:

I get _all_ records: the records before and after the

dates. It's much more efficient to do it in your SQL like
this:

An idea to get CRAZY drive size/thruput on iMac Core2... thoughts pleaz...

Alright, this is totally for speculation (at this point...;), but I just got my iMac Core2Duo 2.16 24" and I started thinkin'...
I do video work, mostly DVCPROHD, which the FW800 port handles fine with a RAID attached. However, I may get some projects that require higher thruput and was thinking of a way to get the crazy drive performance you can only get from SATA RAIDS.
Would it be possible to do the following:
Clear out the internal drive and dremel an eSATA connection through the back of the iMac, hook that up to a 5 drive RAID SATA enclosure (with port multiplier), then boot off an external FW800 drive?
The internal SATA controller is an AHCI 1.1 controller, which according to what I've read, supports port multiplication.
Crazy, yes, no?

Because that would be no fun at all
And it'd cost more as I'd need to buy a monitor (23" cinema display equivalent) and a SATA PM pci card. Not to mention the cost of RAM and probably a video card upgrade. If you factor out the cost of the drives and enclosure, the only thing I'd need for my iMac would be an eSATA connector to mount.
Alas, all my research points to the fact that port multiplication on the AHCI controller is not enabled (it isn't on the MacMini nor the MacPro, so it prolly ain't on the iMac either).

I have also upgraded to ios6.1.3, and facing same wifi connecting problem, after upgrade my iphone3gs is not connecting to my laptop shared wifi, which was working perfect with ios6.1.2,
and its not an hardware error, its software error, crippy apple does not test their releases which causes problem to users.

Today I have created "adhoc network" on my laptop using "Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n"(default wifi adapter of my laptop), and kept security type "WEP", and found my wifi working fine with my iphone 3gs,
So if someone using LAN internet on their laptop, they can share their LAN internet to use on their ios devices, via creating an 'adhoc network',

Tree Component ... getting crazy !

So tree component is terrible , every thing is gone , trying

How can you say, "I hate XML," and really even try to learn
Flex? Flex is based on XML, MXML is XML, any services you call
(HTTP or WEB) are XML. I think it's time for change and time you
picked up XML. It's actually very, very simple.
You don't have to learn AS3 from the ground up. There are a
lot of similarities between AS2 and AS3.
You just need to write a simple function which goes through
the array and converts it to xml. While I could program that for
you, I think you could probably figure it out yourself.
But why even bother? Using an XMLList is just as easy.

ISight cam is getting crazy?

I installed xmeeting 0.3.4 (H.323 videoconferencing client) on my iMac.
xmeeting is showing me this camera picture:

Note - the picture seems to be distorted and squeezed or have a filter applied like in Photo Booth.
But - the camera picture look okay, when I check the camera picture in iChat or in Photo Booth - see the screenshot from Photo Booth:

What could be the reason and how to fix the camera picture in xmeeting?

I do not use XMeeting, but based on the fact that your iChat and Photo Booth picture is normal, it seems to me that your iSight is not the problem.
The good pictures you posted make me think that your XMeeting software is using the wrong video pixel aspect ratio. Is pixel (or video) aspect ratio perhaps adjustable in XMeeting > Preferences?
If not, unless you get better help here, I suggest you follow the suggestions on the XMeeting Help page:
