Hi Shiv,
you will get this message in 3 cases -
1. The master inspection characteristic has not been created
2. You do not have authorization to edit the master inspection
characteristic
3. The master inspection characteristic is being used/has been used and
cannot therefore be deleted.
Check these things, specially 2nd and 3rd point.

    Hi Friends,
Is it possible to delete MIC version. For example i have a MIC with two versions. Both versions were created on the same day.
Now i want to delete the version 2 of MIC. Is it possible?

    HI,
This is wrong posting area,it should be in QM.
yes you can set the deletion flag to MIC provided the MIC is not in use anywhere. If it is in use (Plan,Inspection lot) you can't do that.

    hi
GENERALLY YOU GET MESSAGE (No validity period was selected for master inspection charac)BECAUSE OF THE FOLLWING DATA.
The master inspection characteristic is being used/has been used and cannot therefore be deleted
so goto QS26 check where the MIC (CD1014 in plnat 1000)  is used.
and you need to remove them from the groups or plans.
    then try to delete

  • Deleting MIC or Characteristics in QE01 or Result Recording(QA32)

    Hi friends
Any t.code for deleting MIC or Characteristics or Parameter in QE01 or Result Recording(QA32)
    Thanks & Regards
    Gajendranath

    Hi
while dong the RR you can not delete the char/MIC as while creation of inspection lot only task list gets attached.
So what you can do the remove the task list from the lot,
    In QA02>enter Inspec Lot->click on Reset sample.--->save.
This will remove the task list & status of lot will become CRTD from REL.
Now you can change the task list & attach the task list through QA02>click on Inspec specs->save.

  • I disabled stereomix to use mic only, now stereomix seems deleted??

While testing 'n configuring web streaming, (took ages, so I dont really want to do restore point) I disabled the Stereomix, cos it seemed like it was conflicting with the mic. But I only disabled it! Now it is gone-deleted-cant find it anywhere. HP, made me DL software to analyse missing drivers, only to come back n say my warrantee has expired. Can anyone help to find a way to get the stereomix recording option back, without a restore point. Will that work anyway? I may need to. Disappointed at HP, for making this harder than it needs to be, butits  my own fault. I cant see it in devices, or in Control panels realtek HD audio manager only has the mic now. Im so mad. I only disabled, no warnings came up at all. Help please.

Thank god I have found the driver. Insead of taking the "HP" option of D/Lding their software to go through my PC to find missing drivers, I instead searched manually for it, and found it quite easily. No, expired warranty problems, But it was a big download. 115mb's. But Im very happy, I have an updated version, WITH my stereomix option back. "sp54986.exe" to be exact. Happy happy happy. I shouldve persisted before posting, but got frantic when HP ran me round in circles, after a couple of hours looking on my PC for the missing stereomix, Still.... It is a worry, that a simple disable, can do that vanishing act on me. Or was it just hiding somewhere? I dunno. But I think it was really gone!! Like me now, finally. Bye All. (Thanks 4 sfa HP)

    Hello Phil,
Maybe if you can find your mic as a
separate entity in Device Manager, you could use the reinstall driver
option, and it might just find the driver on already disk and load it.
If anything goes, you might need to reinstall the sound drivers.
Maybe you should uninstall them first, then reinstall.

  • Firmware deletes all music on the mic

Ok I've still go the .0.03 firmware running cause I heard people having problems with the newer versions.
So is it true the player formats and deletes all the music when you install new firmware?
That wasn't the case on my Zen Touch I had before the micro.
    Just wondering.

I'm fairly certain that it does NOT erase the data on the hard disk. During my troubleshooting of the first Micro I reloaded the firmware several times and I was pleasently surprised the music was still on the player when I was done ( it was still broken but that's a moot point)

  • Batch Characteristic not updating with result for linked MIC

    Hi,
I have created a MIC and linked to a batch characteristic i.e. potency and included the characteristic in a specific batch class. This MIC is part of the inspection plan for a certain material.
If I generate a lot of origin 01 and 09 for the material and record a result for the MIC and apply a UD, the batch characteristic is not updated with the result recorded in the batch master record..
If I generate a lot origin 89 for the same material, when the result is recorded for the MIC and apply a UD the batch characteristic is updated with the mic value in the batch master record.
    Can you help regards?

Ok. I am a little bit further.
I put a trace (ST05) on the result recording and I find a difference between 4.7 and ECC6.0.
In ECC6.0 I've an deletion in table "AUSP". This deletion isn't performed in the 4.7 system.
Hope that this can help to solve my problem.
    Regards,
    René
    @ Mayank
Above, all the master data and customizing is mentioned to transfer the result to the batch classification

  • IPhone 6 Plus mic/earpiec not working.

A tiny drop of water went down into my earpiece 2 weeks ago and i kept sucking out the water and i left it over night in a bag of rice. The next day the earpiece was working perfectly fine but the mic for the front facing camera, facetime, siri and voice dictation is not working. Every time i try to take a video using the front facing camera all what i hear is a muffling sound. Is this an earpiece issue? Should i change the earpiece? IS there a mic inside the earpiece?

I have always used the iPhone's LED flashing alert to notify me when I get a call or text message. While I was on iOS 8 Beta 2-4 it was working fine. I did a clean install of the complete iOS 8 release and ever since then, the flash alert doesn't work.
Sometimes it will work on incoming calls, but will not work on text messages. I've tried soft/hard rebooting, clean wipe and fresh installs, and pretty much anything in between. Now, today I got my 128GB Gold ATT iPhone 6 Plus, and it's the same thing. Updated to iOS 8.1, reset everything/deleted all contents and settings. Both fresh install, and iCloud backups and still no alerts on text messages, but now I get them on calls. I tried my girls ATT 128GB iPhone 6 and she has the same problem too. My old phone was a 64GB iPhone 5S and hers was a 32GB iPhone 5. Everything was good until the official release of iOS 8.
I've tried searching for related issues, and haven't found anything since 2011 with a quick Google search. Most links just tell you how to turn the flash alert on but no new issues. All of my devices are on iOS 8.1.  I gave my father my 64GB 5S with a clean install and he still has the issue as well. So, that makes my iPhone 6 Plus, my girls iPhone 6 and my fathers iPhone 5S not flashing LED on messages and sometimes calls. There aren't any custom vibrations enabled on any if the devices. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is it a known bug or am I just not doing something right here? i never had an issue before the iOS 8 release. Any help would be appreciated.

Is it a USB hard drive?  USB hard drives have the problem of not giving full speed if they are hooked up on the same bus as keyboards and mice.  Double check your profiler to make sure that is not a problem.  If it is Firewire, make sure there aren't other firewire devices in use at the same time.  I recommend not only keeping a Time Machine backup, but also a clone, and if you do use Time Machine, to make sure the Time Machine drive or partition is at least twice the size of the original drive.

  • How do I use my i-pod touch as a mic for my ps3, how do I use my i-pod touch as a mic for my ps3

How do I use my I-Pod Touch as a mic for my ps3 system?

Sure wish I was more patient. What I ended up doing was temporarily reactivating the phone since I knew it worked after I initially stopped using it. I downloaded the apps I wanted then I turned it off and reactivated my iphone. All appears to be well but I will file your instructions away for possible future reference. Thanks a bunch!

See if this works to bypass the activation screen: On the Welcome screen with the 'touch the Android to begin' icon, tap each of the four corners of the screen, starting with the top left, i.e.:- Tap the top left corner of the screen, then- Tap the top right corner of the screen, then- Tap the bottom right corner of the screen (just above the grey bar), then- Tap the bottom left corner of the screen (just above the grey bar) Wait a few seconds and you should see the home screen

  • Is there a way to get irig mics working again on ipads?

I have 10 ipad 2s and 3 irig mics.  I have had students using the combinations to create segments for a web/TV show that we make each week.  The mics started out working great, but now none of them work in any of the ipads.  Anyone have any experience with iRigs not working after only 1 month of use?  I have two mics, that when plugged in, still record, but it's the normal iPad mic recording.  The other one mutes the internal mic.  Any tips would be greatly appreciated.  Our segments sounded so much better with working mics.

If you REALY need it, you can sneak the public beta up to the latest developer easy enough, (just be prepared that it can be more buggy than public beta and you may have issues)
Go to settings/general/profiles and delete the public beta profile. Then go to software update, it should show the latest update.

  • Desparate for a single key on left side of keyboard that serves as DELETE

I am running a MacBook Pro on 10.5.8 using Microsoft Word 2008. My right arm has aching tendonitis and enabling my left hand to delete stuff would help a ton.
Thus, I desparately need a single-key (not function+key or command+key) that DELETES letters or words in Word, that sits on the far side of the keyboard. I'd give up fn, or `, or even capslock. **** even tab!
I've tried DoubleCommand. It will remap delete onto the CapsLock key but then only deletes a character every other key press (apparently only works when capslock turns ON). This *****.
KeyRemap4MacBook says it will remap ` to DELETE but that simply does not work in Word. It can also remap fn to Command_L but that also doesn't work (yes, I assigned Command_L to DeleteWord in Word's keyboard shortcuts).
I am desparate to keep writing and save my right arm's tendons! Please help!!
    Thanks.

You should be able to reassign one of the F1~ series keys via the
Keyboard and Mouse system preference panel; or maybe if not in
there, see the Univeral Access; you may be able to also use an
option by the name of Mouse Keys.
There also may be some other possibility, since there are folks
out there who have used two mice; and other set-ups. Even a
few who have used their feet to control their computers.
A way to use a Script (automator) to create a means to select/delete
words would be one consideration; however it may launch improperly.

The DoubleCommand app supposedly has a way to make the Caps Lock
button work as a Delete key, according to reader posts on this topic who
had been using a MacBook computer and needed a left-side Delete key.
{An issue exists in assigning a key to do a different function, when some
    other Application needs that key, as-is (or as-was) to perform tasks in it.}
However, the native means of re-assigning a key function in Sys Pref>
Keyboard & Mouse panel, or some workaround in Universal Access
may be something you can customize or use directly.
The topic has been discussed in these user boards before your post:
    http://discussions.info.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=11668747
While I haven't really looked into this, there should be more than a few
ways of making a left-side Delete key out of some other key, in the OS.
Perhaps someone with more key assigning experience has better ideas?
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • Mice won't connect

There is a similar thread here, but my symptomology seems somewhat different, so I decided to start a new topic.
I have two Logitech Blue Tooth mice. One is a V470, the other is old enough I can't find a model number. I have been using both for well over a year now. I also have a BB phone, but I do not use BT with it.
I installed Snow Leopard August 28. Upgraded to 10.6.1 when it first came out. I have been using the older mouse with no trouble. Last night, I came home, and it wouldn't connect. No settings had been changed. No new software loaded. No options updated. I changed the batteries. No help. I tried to delete and reconnect. No help.
So I got the V470 out. It worked fine for about 2 hours ... then this morning, it too stopped working. Trashed plist files in both the main Library and user Library, restarted. No luck with either mouse. "On" is checked. "Discoverable" is checked. "Bluetooth sharing" is checked. System preferences is unable to discover either mouse. I also tried using "specify device," but it still didn't work.

Software Update just gave me a Bluetooth firmware update. I'm hoping that will solve the problem.
In the meantime, the following workaround has been working for me:
-- Delete the mouse from the list of devices.
    -- Restart the computer.
-- Press the "connect" button on the mouse.
This has been reconnecting for me. Not elegant, but it works.
