MIC update in QM - LIMS interface

Hi friends,
I am working with QM - LIMS interface. I am getting a problem for characteristic update in SAP specifically for 04 lots. The detailed descriptuion is as follows:
Plant: 1000; Tasklist Group: 1 Tasklist Usage: Universal ;
so that my tasklist and MIC for a material are same despite of lot origin.
Now say for a material A (all lot type) results and UD with above combination is getting updated through interface, but for a material B with above combination data is updated for 01, 03, 09, 07 etc lot origin but
for lot origin 04 I am getting a pop up in QM saying valuate the non valuated characteristics manually, which prevents data uploading from interface.
Can anyone help me on this issue?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that your looking in the wrong place for this issue.
If your using the same inspection plan for multiple materials and it works with them, and it works for the same material across inspection types then I think there might be an issue on the LIMS side, not SAP, as most LIMS interfaces provide the valuation to SAP.
The only other thing is to double check the inspection type settings in the problem material against a material that is working. Some settings in the inspection type can preclude automatic valuation I believe. But if these are identical settings, then I think you need to look close at LIMS.

I am trying to record guitar through a LambdA interface and have never had problems before. Now after the most recent update, I have the interface selected but it seems like my computer's built in mic is picking up the sound. So when i have the monitor on, it is picking it up and feeding back. Even if the volume is all the way off on the interface, I can snap my fingers and it picks it up. It's probably something stupid but trying to figure this out for an hour... Please help.

I'd seen this posted to a similar question, but either I'm blind or doing something completely wrong. In my midi/audio screen (from GB> Preferences > Audio/Midi) I see no such option. Searched the '08 help for anything remotely close to "aggregate device" provides no topics.
Am I looking in the wrong place? Has this feature been renamed in GB '08?

Update Supplier Using Supplier Interface

I am trying to update the terms of some existing suppliers using supplier interface and I am hitting the following errors:
100002 ABEC LTD. Supplier Number is invalid
100002 ABEC LTD. Supplier name already exists.
100002 ABEC LTD. This Supplier Number already exists.
The insert statement which i used in the control file was:
append into table ap_suppliers_int

As far as i know, in customer interface there is an insert update flag. How do we indicate an update action in Supplier Interface?

The supplier interface doesn't support updates of vendor records. You can try using the ap_po_vendors_apis_pkg.update_vendor_site procedure, which allows limited update capabilities.

Does Sap automatically updates customer credit limit from Financial Doc?

Does the Sap automatically updates the customer credit limit from the Financial document(Letter of credit) assigned to particular sales order.
I actually want to know that how can i configure the control at delivery order if i assigned the financial document at sales order.Does the system automatically creates or updates the credit limit of that customer to control over delivery order.
If yes then how and i only want to handle credit management in the case financial document(letter of credit).

yes it does.
Note some important points
Inautomatic credit control field "No Check field", you can enter the number of a requirement with which you can control when credit checks are not carried out. You can deactivate some or all checks. This allows fine tuning on an individual basis for defining credit-relevant transactions and when credit checks do not need to be carried out.
A check should be made to see whether the payment guarantee form has changed (letter of credit, payment card). If the payment guarantee form has not changed and if the old net value does not exceed the new net value, then no credit check is carried out.

Updating the maxfiles limit in Mountain Lion?

I've run into a situation where the default maxfiles limit of 256 is causing one of my applications to crash. I tried following the how-to in this blog post:

but have had only limited success. The first issue is that as opposed to the large numbers he cites, when I manually set the maxfiles from the command line my system appears to permit a max value of 512. Does anyone have a similar experience?
While I can set my maxlimit to 512 from the command line, and that does stop the affected app from crashing, I am unable to force this limit to stick after a reboot. I followed the instructions (again, from the above-linked post) and created the /etc/launchctl.conf filewith values set to 512 512 but after reboot the limit still resets to 256. After doing some googling I got the impression this could be set by creating the file /etc/launchd.conf instead, but that just locked up my system so badly that it wouldn't even boot in safe mode and I had to boot from an external backup so I could delete the file.
Can someone please tell me how to configure my system so the 512 limit is the default?

Well, this may not be the elegant solution but I just updated my ~/.bash_profile to run this line at login:
launchctl limit maxfiles 1024 1024
The 512 limit seems to have been some kind of glitch because after a reboot I could bump it to at least 1024.

Credit Managment: Sales Order last in update the Credit Limit

Hello,
I have a problem. When creating sales order with a few seconds of difference (from 1 to 5), the first sales order (that consumes all the credit limit) doesn´t reach to update the credit limit and for that reason the system permits to create the second one.
I have an other case of two sales orders created in exactly the same time, so the system permited to create both of them.
Do you think there is some solution for those cases?

Hi Praveen,
We use this functionality in that case for example you have two customer A and B.
You want to maintain the credit limit 2000$ for both the customers.
So we use this functionality, we assign the customer as credit account in another credit account.
Now doesn't matter customer A buy the goods from you or customer B.
System consider only 2000$ not 4000$.

JDBC Update Failed in JTable Interface

A connection is established to database and the JTable gets the details from database and displays it in the form of a JTable as normal. When i edit just one cell, the update is processed successfully, however when try to update second cell on that particular table, the update would fail. It seems that the second update doesnt actually generate a SQL update statement to execute on database. If anyone has come across such a problem, could you please let me know what i am doing wrong here. I am using an instance of this class to create each JTable on my GUI:

the setValueAt() method generate the SQL according to
the selection on the JTable. The second update doesnt
even generate any SQL query as it should always print
it out in DOS even if update fails.there is only two possibilites remaining.
1) there is a problem with the loop. seems unlikely.
2) the setValueAt is not being called for some other reason.
why don't you put some more lines to help you see what is happening.... some suggestions.
uncomment the e.printStackTrace(); line
put a System.out line at the start of the setValueAt method and through the iterations of the loop.

Badge ID (TIMEID_NO) update in HR-PDC interface

Dears,
I have just set up the HR-PDC interface connecting to subsystem Honeywell Enterprise Building Integrator (EBI). We are running some tests and the first issue we identified was related to employees with new badges assined (field TIMEID_NO).
If an employee loses its badge and then gets a new one with a different ID all time event records sent to SAP become invalid. It happens because in the subsystem (EBI) the employee badges' number is assigned but it is not updated in SAP yet.
Is there a way to keep this field updated, meaning, to update it running a job or something? I could not find any BAPI that I could use. The one that have found updates master data in the subsystem but what I want is the other way around.
Would it be possible?

Is is Temaline. The subsystem is Honeywell EBI, and it is certified.
We've solved the issue by an enhancement that replace the card number by a sequence of zeros.

QDL3- MIC updation

Dear Team,
I have one specfic issue relation to the updation of Master inspection characteristics in the QDL3 transaction with reapect to the inspection plan.
For example
Let say i have the following in my inspection plan
Operation No. 2000, Mic No. 0010,Mic Name "weight" & DMR is "DM1" (that means after first accepted lot this will move to the skip lot max 999)
QDL3 : Yes i have the above MIC and it already reached the skip status (count is let say 20)
Now my problem is.
Due to some reasons if i delete this MIC (0010) from the inspection plan but still i am see this data in the QDL3 transaction (Note: only MIC discription is removed, other data not remove in the QDL3 or QDQL table) Total line item is not deleted from this transaction.
After some time, If I add new mic, this is beeing added as Mic no. 0010 in the operation 2000. This new mic description is replaced in the QDL3 transaction with all the old value for the Deleted MIC. (Since the operation no and the Mic number are same)
As i understand that this transaction QDL3 will be updated after the UD only.
Meanwhile
Please let me know that how to identify the new added MIC in the QDl3 transaction. (I have check QDQL table also)

and
You can change or delete the quality level manually at transaction QDL2.

Problem ID'd!! updater corrupts ipod "usb interface"

all the "not recognizing"... "freezing after itune 6 update" problems seem to be USB problem....
see roger fallon's post in the middle of the string called, "ok. a little help please" .
any genius' out there who have a solution? besides buying firewire?

I just got off the phone with apple-help. They said that my ipod is not under warranty so they cant help. great!
and then I called again and the lady was nice enough to at least ask me what the problem was so that she could direct me to the right place for help.
I told her that my ipod kept freezing and disconnecting... that I can hear the little mice running on their spin-wheels inside of it.
She told me to download the latest "ipod updater". I told her that i had but she insisted that I try again. So I did. and guess what.
same problem.
I wish someone would post a solution or clarify what the heehaa is going on here.

Using Ciscoworks to update netmask on mgmt interface for multiple switches

Is it possible to user Ciscoworks LMS 3.2 to update the netmask for a management interface on multiple switches? For example, say I have a 3750 access switch management network, 172.28.185.0/27 (default gateway 172.28.185.1) that we're resizing to a /26. Is there a simple way to update just the netmask for the management interface on those devices using Netconfig?

Unfortunately not. You could use Netconfig or even baseline compliance for this, but since you need to know each interface's IP, that means you'd have to create parameterized templates. Therefore, you would have to create a template "answer" file for each device in this subnet which had their IP address for the interface in question.
Baseline compliance might be a little easier with a template like:
Commandlet : CheckIP
IsPrereq : Yes
Submode : interface [#.*Ethernet.*#]
+ ip address [#172.58.185.\d+#] 255.255.255.224
Commandlet : ReplaceIP
Parent : CheckIP
+ ip address [IP] 255.255.255.192
You would still need to provide a value for [IP] for each device when performing a deployment.

Firmware update with black menu interface option?

Hello folks and Apple people,
I purchased my black 30gb iPod a few weeks ago, and it's cool except for the fact anything that comes in contact with the casing scratches it. A little disappointed in that but from what I gather the only thing to resolve the issue has been to put the soft white case in with each model (which also scratches the acrylic) :-/
Anyway, my main question is one that I think others would be interested to know about. Are Apple going to release a version of the software for this iPod that permits me to change the menus from a white background to a black one with white text? It looks a little out of place with such a cool black unit, and a black user interface would seriously rock.
I can only hope!

hey i have the fireface 400 and am using it with logic. how do i use both mic pres on the front of the fireface simultaneously. for example i want to record an acoustic using two mics. probably a simple question please help me out.

How do you "use" them? Please be more specific...
Make sure you choose the correct inputs on the relevant tracks..
If that doesn't help you I've heard stamp collecting can be fun.
