Micro USB to HDMI adapter support on Encore 2 WT8-B-102

I would like to know, if there is any chance to connect this tablet to TV/Monitor through the micro usb port by attaching a micro usb to HDMI adapter? If yes, is there any specific adapter being compatible with this Tablet device?
Thanks for the support
Alex

First of all it’s not possible to use USB port (micro USB) in order to output the video signal. The USB port does not support such functionality.
According to the tablet's specification page the WT8-B does not support video out interface (HDMI etc..) and therefore it's not possible to connect it directly to the TV device.

Has anyone ever done this and made it work?
    Thanks,

I read that the Displayport/ USB to HDMI adapter works well with Apple but has anyone tested within Windows environment under Bootcamp? Are there drivers that support the adapter already?

Usually, A *[USB to HDMI Adapter|http://www.espow.com/wholesale-usb-multi-display-adapter-for-computer-a dd-on-a-second-monitor.html]* can work in MacBook/Windows OS.. • Micro usb to lightning adapter works in IOS7??

There are plenty of discussion flowing around saying that IOS7 doesn't support 3rd party cable.
However, I have couple of devices that uses micro USB cables and I am thinking about getting the micro usb to lightning adapter (official apple one).
Does anyone know if the micro usb to lightning adapter (official apple one) works with iphone5s with IOS7 on ANY micro usb cable?
    Thanks in advance!

I saw the reviews saying it works (they guy bought it in Dec 2013), however, I confirmed that mine APPLE-branded micro USB to lightning adapter doesn't work after I replaced my iphone5 with iphone5s (build-in iOS7). I bought it from apple store on Nov 2012. Going to check with apple store.

  • Connecting Micro USB and HDMI cables at the same time

I need to be able to use a Micro USB and HDMI cable at the same time to configure ATV to connect to WPA2-Enterprise secure WiFi network.  I'm using Apple Configurator to do this.  Because of the poor hardware design, it isn't possible to connect both the Micro USB and HDMI cables at the same time.  Does anyone have a worrkaround to resolving this issue?
I saw a similar post about this problem in the forums dating back to April 2013 with no real solution.  It's been over a year now and I'm hoping someone has found a workaround to this problem.  I have a bunch of ATVs that I need to configure for our classrooms.
    Thanks!

For what reason do you believe this is necessary?

  • USB to HDMI adapter for external display in clamshell mode?

    Hello.
Does anyone know of a USB to HDMI (or DVI) adapter so that I can connect an external display (with an HDMI or DVI cable) to a USB port on my Macbook air?
I need to run it in clamshell mode, mirroring the Air display. The Monoprice  USB to HDMI adapter (which uses DislplayLink drivers) I tried does not work properly in clamshell mode with mirroring (though it works in arrangement mode).  I know I can use the Thunderbolt port, but I need to leave this free for a Firewire device.
    Thanks.

Unfortunately, I have the same problem, but using USB devices and Displaylink software.  I know there are issues with Displaylink software as they say the problem is with Apple.  I have three external monitors with a late 2008  I Macbook Pro which gives me four screens.  I was able to get two to work + the Macbook, but there were so many issues, like you described, that I have given up and I am just using the Mini Display port which gives me one external and the Macbook.  Looks like we will just have to wait until Apple does something.  I have found no other solutions at this point - hardware or otherwise.

  • Triple monitor with intel and SenseVision Club 3d usb to hdmi adapter

    Hi,
I have an all in one machine with a single intel VGA:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Xeon E3-1200 v2/3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller (rev 09)
I also have an external monitor which works fine. I would like to use a third monitor through the SenseVision Club 3d usb to hdmi adapter (Chipset: DL-195).
    http://www.club-3d.com/index.php/produc … apter.html
I'm using the udlfb module with the option: fb_defio=1
The monitor attached to the usb to hdmi adapter turns green when the machine starts.
The problem is that I'm able to use only one adapter at the time. So I can use the integrated monitor and the external one attached to the intel VGA or the monitor attached to the usb to hdmi adapter but not all of them together.
    Here is my xorg.conf:
    Section "Device"
    Identifier "intel"
    Driver "intel"
    # BusID "PCI:0:2:0"
    EndSection
    Section "Device"
    Identifier "dl1"
    Driver "fbdev"
    # BusID "PCI:0:3:0"
    Option "fbdev" "/dev/fb1"
    EndSection
    Section "Monitor"
    Identifier "monitor0"
    EndSection
    Section "Monitor"
    Identifier "monitor1"
    EndSection
    Section "Monitor"
    Identifier "monitor2"
    EndSection
    Section "Screen"
    Identifier "screen0"
    Device "dl1"
    Monitor "monitor0"
    #DefaultDepth 16
    #DefaultDepth 24
    EndSection
    Section "Screen"
    Identifier "screen1"
    Device "intel"
    Monitor "monitor1"
    #DefaultDepth 16
    DefaultDepth 24
    EndSection
    Section "Screen"
    Identifier "screen2"
    Device "intel"
    Monitor "monitor2"
    #DefaultDepth 16
    DefaultDepth 24
    EndSection
    Section "ServerLayout"
    Identifier "multihead"
    Screen 0 "screen0" 0 0
    Screen 1 "screen0" LeftOf "screen1"
    Screen 2 "screen1" LeftOf "screen2"
    Option "Xinerama" "on"
    EndSection
Switching the screen0 and screen1 positions in the xorg.conf makes work the intel vga. The current configuration enables only the usb monitor. The screen2 is discarded by the xorg stating that none monitor is attached to the device.
I also tried to tinker with the BusID values. Specifying BusID "USB" makes the xorg crash.
Is it possible at all to use three monitors at the time with the current state of art? Any success story with this setting?
Could you please share your working xorg.conf if you have any?
    Any suggestion?
    Thank you very much.

    Apparently yes,
    According to the thread:
To restore to the old behaviour, put this in your ~/.drirc:
    <driconf>
      <device screen="0" driver="i915">
        <application name="Default">
          <option name="vblank_mode" value="0" />
        </application>
      </device>
    </driconf>
But I don't come back to the same perfs as before (tested with eternal lands).
I noticed that in my /var/log/Xorg.0.log:
    (WW) intel(0): Register 0x61200 (PP_STATUS) changed from 0xc0000008 to 0xd0000009
(WW) intel(0): PP_STATUS before: on, ready, sequencing idle
(WW) intel(0): PP_STATUS after: on, ready, sequencing on
(WW) intel(0): Register 0x71024 (PIPEBSTAT) changed from 0x00020202 to 0x00020000
    (WW) intel(0): PIPEBSTAT before: status: VBLANK_INT_ENABLE VSYNC_INT_STATUS VBLANK_INT_STATUS
(WW) intel(0): PIPEBSTAT after: status: VBLANK_INT_ENABLE
There seem to be some problem with mtrr
I found this problem which seems related but I only have 2GB of memory

  • How to connect Encore WT8-B-102 to the TV

    hi,
I have toshiba encore wt8 b 102. I dont have micro hdmi, only micro usb. How can I connect my tablet to tv (no wifi) ?
    Message was edited by: kropek

According to the Toshiba ENCORE WT8-A-102 specification page, the table supports the micro HDMI out port.
This port can be used in order to connect the table to the TVs HDMI IN port.
Of course this requires the usage of micro HDMI to HDMI cable

You can start the recovery using the HDD recovery procedure.
If you want to access the boot menu on Toshiba Windows 8 / 8.1 tablet devices and you don't have a keyboard attached please press and hold the "Vol+" button and turn on the device.
After a few seconds the boot option menu will appear. Select "HDD Recovery" and the rest of the procedure is similar to the Windows 8 recovery process.

  • USB to HDMI adapter cuts out randomly

My CableMatters USB3.0 to HDMI adapter worked great in the previous version of OSX, but now it will randomly throughout the day go blank, all the windows will migrate to another monitor (I use 2 external monitors on my MBP), and then pop back on after 3-5 seconds.  This issue is known to CableMatters (and other makers of these types of devices), but they say the issue is on Apple's end.  I was surprised to see there wasn't an entry about this here so figured I'd post one, hoping to get Apple's attention to it.  I've also submitted a bug report (15492402).  Unfortunately, search on the bug report site doesn't seem to work for terms, so I'm not sure how many other reports have been submitted for this issue.

  • Encore WT8-A-102 - Working VGA Adapters

After trying a few HDMI to VGA adapters in shops I have found one which works online. (With the latest BIOS 1.60 and recently released platform drivers), thought it might be useful to others looking for one to have a list of confirmed working adapters.
This TMART one (Micro HDMI to VGA Adapter with Audio Cable White) works (~7 delivered)
(Id also like to make this not a question.. but cant see the option to do that anywhere)

  • How to unlock GNSS Encore WT8-A-102?

I tested all possible combinations with GNSS drivers (newest, olders) in Windows and always have one problem - GPS is locked.
All localization services in Windows is ON (no problem with services). GNSS good working only with Metro mode (Microsoft maps working OK).
Desktop mode = always locked. GNSS cannot support com virtualization mode = normal.
If I use GPS Reverse driver (emulated COM port) GnssDataInterface always says in Sensor state - is Llocked!
How unlock this sensor in desktop mode? Bios 1.6 and Windows and Automapa up to date.
I wan't use Automapa to navi program....
    My English isn't sensational....
Perhaps somebody already solved this problem?

I’m a little bit confused about this message.
The tablet was equipped with GPS and the Windows 8.1 supports the location tracking.
The GPS driver is part of the system and everything you need to do is to tell the specific applications that it’s okay to track your location.
When you start a Windows 8.1 app that wants to use your location you will see a notification:
“do you want to turn on location services and allow (appname) to use your location”?
Then you have to click on the button “allow” or “block”.
The location settings can be found in:
Settings -> change PC settings -> privacy -> location
Here you can change the location settings for each app.
