Microlag on notification drop down and in settings.
SO I finaly made the leap and got me an iPhone 6 plus and a new MacBook pro retina.
ANyway I always thought IOS was smooth but now I actually own one I see there is some microlag in certain areas of the OS not applications.
the pull down has lag where stocks are etc and in the settings menu there is microlag as well. is this normal? Everyone phone I see has one so its just not mine and I do notice things like that. Came to iPhone for smoothness and ease of use. That micro lag bugs me lol. Think this can be fixed? update??
If it doesn't show up that means there's no WiFi site nearby. Do you get your internet service from Google? Do you have the computers Airport card turned on? Are you connected to a different service such as by Ethernet?

HHow can I get notifications drop down to expand to full screen in iOS 8.3 on iPhone 5.1? See attached screen shots
The resetting of the iPhone has helped for a week, and because of that I have tried something more drastic: restore the iPhone with iOS reinstall. So far no problem after 1 day. I will keep you posted. Maybe I will need to set this iPhone as new, which I really hate to do because I will loose all contacts and saved Wi-Fi hotspots. I don't want to either reset the settings since it is quite time consuming to log in the accounts (I don't remember the passwords).

How do you disable the notifications drop down menu???
I'm hoping this can be done! I have been working in a painting app and everytime I try to use a stylist near the canvas edges I get the ipad's notifications drop down menu... I tried turning everything off under notifications in the general settings but I'm still getting a drop down menu now telling me that I have no new notifications...arrgggg!
I don't think you can. Others using that type of app have also complained. Send feedback to Apple and the developer.

I have an iPod Touch 3rd Gen. There is a problem with the volume dropping down and then right back up, intermittenly on various songs. If you rewind past that spot, it will not do it again. It is not always the same songs. What can I do to correct this issue? I have tried a hard reboot on the iPod and the problem is still there.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

I'm not techinal so please bear with me. I don't have the bar that allows me to type in a website. I did have a few minutes ago. When I make the page full screen and move my cursor to the top of the page, the bar drops down and I can use it. I've tried restarting my computer, didn't work. Help!
Well I figured it out, right click the arrow that makes the screen bigger and unclick the Hide Toolbar. I knew it couldn't be that hard.

It takes me back to steps that have already taken of locating down load file double-click to mount the disk image; double-click install Adobe reader; agreed by clicking open; entering name and password and clicking okay.
Did this several times with no success.

CSS Drop down menu; how to align the right edge of drop down and parent menu?
Hello everyone,
I have a drop-down menu that is currently working well.
The only change I need to make is to have the right edge of the drop-down menu to align with the right edge of the parent menu. When you hover over the menu, it currently "drops" down and to the right, with the left edges aligned.
I want the menu to "drop" down and to the left, so the right edges are aligned.
I have tried fiddling with floats and absolute/relative positioning. I'm not sure what needs to be changed.
Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated! I'm learning via "cut and paste", so please go easy on any terminology you may use.

Problems with RH 9Printed Documentation not displaying some popups, drop-downs, and links
I generate a Word document for reviewers. PrintedDoc properties include: Retain hyperlinks; Include drop-down text; Include expanding text.
Sometimes the Word 2010 document includes hyperlinks, sometimes it doesn't.
Popups typically don't work in the Word document.
Drop-down and expanding text appear intermittently in the Word document.
Has anyone experienced this and have a solution?

CarolI have never known hyperlinks to fail except in two situations.
The target topic is not in the printed document. Obviously it cannot link to something that is not there.
The hyperlink is a popup.
Not sure what you mean by popups not working in a printed document. If you mean the links to them break, then see above. Known issue.
I'm not sure why you are having the dropdown and expanding text problem as I have not known that to be an issue either. Is it always the same dropdowns that fail? Have you compared a good dropdown and a bad dropdown?

Use checkboxes with drop down and submit button to pas values
I have a form with six checkboxes, one drop down, and one submit button. I want the check box ON values to be appended to the hyperlinks stored in the drop down. The onclick event of the submit button sends the form results to a url with the checkbox values appended to the end of the hyperlink in the drop down. Need code please. Several programmers have bailed out on this when they got down to the event in the submit button. Can you Sun experts do better??? Here is the code for the form WITHOUT a properly programmed submit button and no javascript.

It is peculiar, that Chrome, Safari, and Skype can access FB, but not the iPhoto uploader.
Do you see any error messages/ diagnostics in the Console Window, when you try to connect to Facebook?
Launch a Console window from Applications > Utilities and clear the Console Window. Then try to upload. Are there any new messages?
And also launch a Terminal and have a look, if "facebook.com" is properly resolved:

Droid Maxx XT1080M Screen Rotation Problem and Notification Drop Down Issue
My droid maxx xt1080m screen rotation got stuck on landscape while viewing photos the other day. I went into settings and unchecked the box for auto rotate screen. My photos were still in landscape and would not go back to portrait. I turned off the phone and restarted, went back to the gallery and pictures were back to portrait. I then went into the settings and checked the box for auto rotate screen, went back to photos and they will not rotate. Nothing and I mean nothing will rotate at all. Photos in the gallery that used to rotate, apps that used to rotate will not rotate. How do I fix this?
Now I also notice that the notification list at the top will not drop down when swiped down. I will have to swipe it 7-8 times to get it to come down. This is my second maxx as the first one got stuck in a loop on boot up and would not reset.Can you boot into SAFE MODE ?? You can also UNINSTALL that Gallery Lock APP from the online Android Market (PLAY).
Safe mode:
- Power Off
- Power On
- Press & HOLD both up & down volume buttons at the same time -- for like 3 mins while it boots up. Keep holding these down!
- Phone should eventually come up and say SAFE MODE in lower left corner ..
Does THAT work??? If so, see if that app is in your APP drawer and try to uninstall it.
If that doesn't work, you can boot into the Maintenance Menu using a similar procedure that can get you to the ability to do a Factory Reset, if that's what you want to do.

Please advise how I can get weather in iOS 7 to show in notification centre drop down on home screen. thank you.
Make sure that you have Location Services turned on and that the Weather App is also turned on within the Location Services section. When you go to the homescreen you should see the location service icon to the left of the battery symbol and after a short while it should disappear check the notification area now and hey presto, should be a text version of weather there for you.

CSS sheet covers up date drop down, and other Date field issues
Portland needs a little help once again.
My CSS stylesheet object acts like it has a higher "zIndex" then the date dropdown on an inputField. This causes me to only see half the calendar or none of it. Anyone else seen this and how did you get around it.
Also, When I test my BSP page the date drop downs, tables, etc all look great. However when the BSP page is rendered on an iView in EP6.0 they look terrible. Colors change, etc. What is happening here and how do I get around it.
