Microphone buttons do not function.

So I have the weirdest issue with my headphones. Both earpieces send sound fine, the microphone actually works in a sense that I can have a conversation clearly while on the phone, but the button to start/stop phones, and also the volume control for calls and listening to music, has stopped working.
I tried using my sisters headphones, and my fathers headphones, and I did try restoring my phone. I still have the issue so it is not the headphones themselves.
Another unrelated issue which is happening: When I sync my phone all of the icons of my photos(not the actual photos) in my photos app turn black... any ideas?

How to Determine if the Firware Update has Already been Installed
CD Receivers:
• With the unit turned off (press and hold the source button until the CD Receiver turns off), press and hold the center of the volume knob to bring up the Settings menu → rotate the volume knob until "BT Version Info" is displayed and then press the center of the volume knob → The firmware version should show HW05-SW01.27.20.
DVD Receivers:
• With the unit turned off (press the home button and select ‘OFF’ from the source icons), press the home button → Press the “System” icon at the bottom of the screen → Select the “Bluetooth Version Info” option → The firmware version should show HW05-SW01.27.20.
If the Bluetooth firmware version shows HW05-SW01.27.20, no further action is necessary.

Password Remember Button does not function; Can't input 3rd Party Passwords for Social Networks/Emails.

My "Remember" button doesn't work. Simple as that. The "Not Now"
Button still works, and closes the pop-bar. Remember doesn't do anything.

Okay, I have started Firefox in Safe Mode, and the Remember button still didn't work. After checking the error console, It had the following message again:

I read the Troubleshooting extensions & Themes, but It didn't help.
When I tried to read "http://kb.mozillazine.org/Password_Manager" I get a page that says:

Also, this error occurs in ALL 3rd Party extensions. It can't log me into E-Mail accounts, Facebook, Twitter, anything. The error message has a window title of [JAVASCRIPT APPLICATION] if that says anything.

I need to hard reset a Palm TX but the Power button does not function.

I need to hard reset my Palm TX but the Power button does not function. Is there any other way to perform the hard reset or otherwise delete all of my data?

PowerBtn from the Canuck Software HomePage.
NOTE: This is Not a Blazer friendly download and only for downloading using a Chunky Computer thingie.

PowerBtn will allow you to set a HardButton to turn the TX on and off in the same fashion as the PowerButton, if you want.
This setting will remain active while 'Enable' on the PowerBtn screen is active.
The user can select 'Disable' on the PowerBtn screen.
The setting will survive a Soft Reset. (Hi PG )
If the Palm PowerButton fails completely then you will not be able to do a Hard Reset.
The PowerBtn app has a 'Hard Reset button' which you tap and after a time countdown (you can cancel in this time) it will perform a Hard Reset. This is the same as the Hard Reset app mentioned above.
The 'Enable' and 'Disable' mentioned above do not affect the 'Hard Reset button'
NOTE: PowerBtn also has a 'Program itself becomes power button' feature but I do NOT recommend you use this.
If you enable this you will not be able to change the setting or use the 'Hard Reset button' because when you Tap on the PowerBtn Icon the TX will turn Off. The only way to change the setting or use the 'Hard Reset button' would be to Delete PowerBtn then install again.
You can also turn your TX On by pushing the 5WayNav Select (middle button) to bring up the clock then double push it. The TX will stay on at the same place it was in when you turned it off, in the same way it would if you used the Power Button

ThinkPad buttons do not function (T430s)

Hello,
I just received a new T430s and the buttons below the TouchPad do not function at all.
A clean Win7 Enterprise installation was performed as soon as the laptop was received, so I cannot verify if the buttons previously worked.
I have upgraded UltraNav, the BIOS and the device drivers for the TouchPad without any luck.
I also disabled both the TrackPoint and ThouchPad, in varying combinations, in BIOS and the OS with no resolution.
The TrackPoint functions perfectly fine as does the tap to click feature of the TouchPad.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

put each button in its own layer. make sure there are no keyframes in the button layers after frame 1 and make sure the buttons have correct instance names in frame 1. retest.
if you need to keyframes for either button, add them after doing the above.

I'm trying to perform edits onto one of my videos and trying to insert text, transitions, and music. Unfortunately, the buttons to open those menus do not function any more. They only grey out like they would normally when clicked and that is it. Thus far I've tried to close and re-open the app, and I have not had any luck searching online for a solution (maybe I was looking in the wrong places or wrong ways?). Anyone else run into this situation or have a solution/troubleshooting help?

Forms - Button Actions not functioning properly

Created form in Adobe XI Pro assigning actions to buttons - when tested actions work properly - when form is emailed actions no longer function properly for the receiver - what is the remedy?

I had assigned a "file save" followed by "print" action ... in Adobe Reader initially it gave a message that only a blank form could be printed ... it appers it may have been connected to "required" fields ... I removed all "required" fields and removed the "save" action ... now I get the "click sign to fill in fields" message which if cancelled proceeds to the print process ...
I have removed security from the form beyond locking the fields but would certainly like to secure it from any changes but am unsure if the security may be causing an issue preventing the proper function of the actions ...
I initially wanted the button to offer a save option which could be used or cancelled followed by the print option ... which functioned properly in Adobe XI but does not function in Reader

Photoshop 5 edit menu button does not function

The edit menu button does not load the edit page on my Photoshop 5 program. I tried deleting the program and reloading from the disc. I am getting nowhere with that and now I get a message saying that I have use the disc on too many computers.. jjmack answered my earlier question regarding the same issue with a request for more information about the edit menu button.

So just today I was going to check the time on my iPod Touch 4th Gen, and I noticed that the lock button was not functioning, on closer inspection, it appeared as it had just gotten stuck in the pushed position.

This afternoon I was doing things and needed to check the time, I pressed the lock button so it would show the time, but the button would not press. I looked closly and saw the button was stuck as if it was pushed and didn't come back out. I CANNOT lock my iPod using the button.
More details:
-4th gen. iPod touch
-Small dent near lock button
-32GB
-2 Years old.

If your power button is broken, there's not much you can do. You could go to an Apple store & do an out of warranty exchange...Apple doesn't fix iPhones, they replace them. But, I wouldn't recommend doing so, as the iPhone 3G was discontinued almost three years ago & won't run most apps in the app store.
You'd be better served by selling it for parts & using the money to purchase a new phone.
