Ok I fixed the issue, turns out a couple of weeks ago, I downloaded a program that was suppose to help shrink some of your stuff to use less data, it was called Onavo. It was suppose to show you how much data you use to help keep you within your limits. If you have downloaded this, go through your settings and delete it and it will fix the problem. At least it did for me. I can now send photo's to non Iphone users via text no problem.

IPad (3rd gen.) speaker and microphone suddenly not working and iPad freezes. Help!

I was just watching some YouTube videos on my iPad and noticed that it only had 5% battery left. I plugged it in for charging and continued to watch. After that video had ended I moved onto another one, only to notice that I had no sound. I thought this was just because of low battery, and left it to charge. I came back to the iPad later on, only to find the display not turning on from the home or lock button. I did a reset by holding the home and lock buttons down for around 10 seconds. I showed the Apple logo and turned on. I still had no sound though. I tried using Siri to see if he would sound, but then noticed that my microphone is also not working, and then my iPad froze, and it has continued to freeze in a variety of different locations on the iPad since.
When I attempt to play I sound, I hear a quiet, static-like sound coming from the speaker, as if it is attempting to play it or something. I tried an iPad restore using iTunes but it would not take place, so I erased all data on the iPad and that had no effect. Most times to turn the display I have to reset the iPad also.

You rebooted - by which you mean powered off, then powered on?
Then try a reset:
Hold both the Home button and the Power button down for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
Let go promptly when it appears.
Wait 30 seconds or so for your iPad to restart.
No information or settings will be lost.

Side buttons not working and screen is not rotating

All of a sudden the side buttons have stopped working
The screen is also not rotating

Check settings
Settings>General>Use side switch to: Set as desired and then test slide switch

Microphone Isn't working and need help

I recently tried to use my microphone to talk with friends on steam-CoD Ghost's and also tried skype and nobody could hear me and it wasn't being recognized. The microphone has been working ever since I got the computer and I don't know why it suddenly stopped working and maybe disappeared from the device manager list.
So I went to the---Control Panel\ Sound\ Recording| and it says-"Microphone: Conexant Smartaudio HD not plugged in".
Then I went to the device manager and opened the expandable tab--"Audio Inputs and Outputs" and all that was there was "Speakers(Conexant SmartAudio HD) and some others that are used when the HDMI is inserted and are faded out until activated(I'm assuming).
What do I need to do so my microphone will work again?
Does it have anything to do with me installing a beta driver for my NVidia GeForce GTX 770M graphics card as I had version 331.93 installed but reverted back to 331.82 when I noticed that my microphone stopped working.
I also have an integrated graphics card-

Just figured Id let you know I fixed my issue with the microphone showing: Not plugged in.
Turns out the thing I never tried and thought never had any impact was the BIOS was set to fast boot I think.
Good news is that its working 100%. Very happy now
Now if only I could find out why explorer.exe keeps crashing when im trying to manage my files e.g- coyping files from folder-folder.
Is it possible for it to crash if it runs out of available RAM?

HT204406 Cancelation of my active iTunes Match subscription is not working and I urgently need to change my region.

I have temporary relocated to the USA from the UK and I urgently need to change my region settings. I have spent my remaining iTunes balance and cancel my auto renew to iTunes Match (as asked to do on my account page) but it isn't allowing me to change region. The message that I have an active iTunes Match account keeps appearing. WHY?!?!?!

Yes. They wouldn't say it if it wasn't true. System requirements are stated on the iPhone box and Apple website.
Other alternative is to activate the phone on someone else's newer Mac OS X, but you'll still need iTunes to sync, backup, install etc.

I bought my iPod second-hand through Future Shop - a nation-wide electronics chain. It had been returned in less than 30 days after being purchased (the new iPod Videos had just come out). I foolishly did not purchase an extended product protection plan. What, I thought to myself, could possibly go wrong with this electronic gadget?
I shouldn't have tempted fate, I suppose.
Since purchasing it, I have had to restore it 4 times after a freeze. It has become increasingly difficult to restore it, or even have the computer recognise it for restoration, as time progresses.
At present, the screen is completely black, post-freeze. I have tried the "5 Rs", and various other iPod support documents. (I'd link them, but I can never find the same one twice. Maybe this is a good thing? I cannot use the Restore function because it does not recognise that I have an iPod connected to the computer, even though I have plugged it into various USB ports.
I have heard about letting the battery drain and then attempting a restore. Can anyone explain the reasoning behind this to me?
I do not know what to do. At this point, I just want to get rid of my iPod - and I haven't even finished uploading my music library to it - because of all the trouble it has caused me.
Does anyone have any new/different suggestions? Even links to help pages? Do you know if this is covered by the Apple warranty? I don't want to pay for Apple to tell me this isn't covered.
If you have been in the same situation, I would really appreciate hearing what steps you took.

If you have a passcode on the device and you don't know it, then thats another issue. For that, the ipad will need to be restored. This may or may not also resolve your mic issue.
You didn't say wether or not the mic fails with just this one app, or with facetime and skype as well.

I'd stay away from using anything like a vaccuum on the ipad, but clean air might work
Try backing up the ipad to both icloud and itunes first.

Touchscreen wont work and screen cracked

So a month ago my phone fell on a stoneroad and the screen took alot of damage. But the touchscreen still worked then.
But then i dropped the phone again and the touchscreen didn´t work.
So my question is when i repair my broken screen. Will the touch funktion again?

Maybe. I'd advise getting Apple to inspect & service the device. Non-Apple Authorized service voids all your support from Apple.

None of the buttons work and screen won't come on? Won't appear in iTunes either

The iphone was dropped and the back glass smashed, and the back plate was taken off so battery visable, camera is detached from phone. It won't turn on now not even when put on charge, from the back you can see the back light of the screen but nothing is actually displayed on the screen.
Won't appear in the iTunes window and a error message comes up something like Eox000085?
Is it fixable or totally screwed?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Microphone suddenly stopped working and hasn't wor...

I was in the middle of a skype conversation when suddenly the other person was unable to hear me. The camera works fine and so does my internet and i am able to hear the other end of the call fine but since then I can't get the mic to work on skype. I have tested my mic with recording programs on my laptop and it works fine with those programs. It only seems to not function with skype. I have tried all the troubleshooting suggestions on the skype website aong with suggestion from other forums onthe skype website but nothing seems to work. Please help!
I am using a lenovo laptop windows 8.1 if that helps at all.

Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool.
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.
Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.
