Microphone doesn't work for the phone app, but does for skype/heytell.

So, my iphone4 randomly decided it would stop using the microphone when I made calls. I've tried using headsets/speaker mode but that doesnt change the fact the mic makes a single click sound and then I cannot be heard. I've installed the latest firmware (4.3.3) and I've done a full factory restore/resync. Nothing works. It's bizarre that this only happens with the actual phone app though, as I can make calls with skype or be heard on heytell just fine and perfectly clearly. In fact, any app that uses the mic works, except for the phone app....

Yes, I also have this problem. From 14th May till now my iPhone rejects my voice in Phone calls and this Apple device switch off all phone functionality like as international support - it's reject everything from customer :-(
I tried make factory reset, it's helps to make 1-2 calls but no more!
After full restore iOS software decide to disable microphone in Phone app!

Try backing it up to your computer with iTunes. Connect it to your computer, open iTunes, click on the name of the phone in iTunes, go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click Back Up Now. Also go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases to transfer you apps and other purchased media to your iTunes library.

if you have the USB Mic connected kindly remove it first then uninstall the audio drivers for your B510.
let windows install its generic driver.
once done plugin your usb mic and test it again.

Probably nothing, the phone has a high likelihood of being stolen and if you try to Restore it you will run into Activation Lock. Turn it in to the local authorities.

Why does the mic not work in the phone app?

My keyboard doesn't work from the login screen, but when I login as a guest user it works fine (minus the brightness buttons, playback buttons, etc.).

I've already switched out the batteries and the keyboard works fine, so I fear it might be some sort of bug? All the methods of restarting or resetting certain settings can only be done from the login screen or from within an account, when the keyboard doesn't work, and the guest options are limited to non existent.

Try doing a SMC reset, you may need to do this 2-3 times as sometimes the reset doesn't always "take" the first time. To do a SMC reset, shut down the computer, unplug the power cord from the wall and computer, wait 15-20 seconds and restart normally and test. If after 2-3 resets it still does not work test another keyboard. If that keyboard works then this indicates your keyboard has failed and needs to be replaced.

Recently my alarm hasn't been going off on my phone when it is plugged into the charger. This is a problem as i have work most mornings and have been late. When it is not plugged in the alarm works. I know it would mae sense to charge it before i go to sleep, take it off the charger, set the alarm then wake up but was just wondering if there was any reason why I might be experiencing this issue?

This is something peculiar, normally that doesn't work that way
when did this happen? if it just happened, then something probably went wrong with either the software or the hardware
do charge the proper way, and see if it happens again
or try completely draining the battery, and charge it to 100% and see if its gonna solve the issue with the alarm

Ibus doesn't work for skype 4.0.0.8

hello everyone,
I'm new to Arch. I just installed skype 4.0.0.8 with
pacman -S skype
although had a little difficulty with the sound, I finally get it to work properly. Now the only problem is I can't input Chinese with ibus.
I did a lot of search on internet, here's what I've tried:
1. a lot of them are telling me to do something similar to the following post

however, it doesn't seem to work for me. especially the configuration file mentioned here doesn't even exist
/etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/default
2. I also tried to change QT configuration with qtconfig. change default input method to ibus, it doesn't work either.
3. some post says to start ibus with -x option, so I checked my processes with
ps awx | grep ibus
from which I get
ibus-daemon --xim
I guess it's not the cause either.
And here're all the ibus packages I installed:

Is there anything missing? I really need to make ibus work for me, otherwise I have to reply messages with skype4empathy, which doesn't support group chatting. Or is there anyway to make empathy work with skype group chatting?

The git repos under versions is only available once the a cloned file is opened in the Files view. Can you verify that.

Feature setting Masterpage & CSS doesn't work when included in SiteTemplate - but does work when activated manually

I'm experiencing a strange behaviour recently. I wrote a feature with an EventReceiver that sets the masterpage and alternate css file for the current spweb it is activated for. When I activate that feature manually it works like expected. But if I include
the same feature in a SiteTemplate and it is called during site-creation, it doesn't work. I debugged it and stepped through it. As far as I can tell everything looks right. It sets the masterpage and css file like it should and throws no error. But when the
site loads in the end, it suddenly still uses the v4.master and no alternateCSS. How can that be?
If I deactivate the feature then manually and activate it again, it works...

You can put a copy of your master page within the template site, use that for the site's master page, and then save the site as a template then check whether it works.

Visa doesn't work in runtime environement, but does in development?

I have a vi that utilizes visa for accessing a comport associated with a serial port.
The vi works just fine in the development environment, but after I compile it, the vi's no longer can access the com ports.
any special trick necessary during the compile to ensure that the visa still works?

Problem solved, the runtime environment requires visa runtime drivers. The developement environment requires different visa drivers.
My visa runtime environment drivers were out of date.

I have several accounts in thunderbird & now my delete message button will not work on the gmail account but does on the other non gmail accounts

I have a group gmail account which has been working fine in Thunderbird until this week. I have several other earthlink accounts also.
They are all working fine, but the gmail account is very slow now receiving and sending emails. The delete button to remove an email also will not work for the gmail.

Servlet doesn't work in the Web app after deployed to weblogic 7.0

I'm new to weblogic.
I recently developed a web application. It runs perfectly in
Jdeveloper Embeded server on my local machine. The app was talking to
a orable 9i database.
However after I deployed it to weblogic 7.0 server. All servlets don't
work any more. Some give me 404 error which I figured it might have
something to do with my web.xml. I didn't have enough servlet-mapping
definition. I corrected and now I've got new 500 error. I'm wondering
if I need to do some oralce configure thing in the admin console. But
it does work in Jdevlopera. All connection statment and sql statements
were in the servlet code. Is here anything I miss? please help. I've
been stuggle with this for 3 days. Any tip will be highly appreciated.

Make sure to have the right servlet mapping:

Then call the servlet as

Since your servlet is talking to the Oracle9i database, If you come across any database connecting problems
make sure classes12.jar is in the classpath before startting WebLogic7.0
Make sure the WL_home/weblogic700/server/lib/classe12.zip is not loaded by moving it into a different folder.

My microphone doesn't work for calling but it does for skype calling

My iPhone 4 has a problem with the microphone. When I call or when I'm called, I can hear what the other person says on the line but they can't hear me. I recently tried Voice Memos and the microphone works fine. I also try Skype calling and the microphone was working fine also, and it wasn't on loud speaker either. I need help and I tried going to Apple in Perth, Australia and they said they would not fix it or replace it. Please help if you can. Thank you.
