Microphone doesnt work on the ipad2.
I have some troubles with mic on the Ipad. There is only noise. What should i do? Reset allready all settings, didnt help.
I don't fully understand what the System Reset does but I've found that it cures many ills. It's easy, quick and harmless:
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.
A System Reset does not remove any apps, music, movies, etc. nor does it cause any settings to revert back to default.

If your iPad is still in warranty, show it to an Apple Store Genius. If the Genius can not fix it, you may get a replacement iPad on the spot.
If your iPad is out of warranty, or there is no Apple Store near you, look for an Apple Authorized Repair Center. There may be one in your city. If out of warranty, they should be able to repair the microphone for less than the Apple Store's replacement price. <Apple Authorized Repair Centers>

I am facing a weird problem with my iphone 4s Wi-Fi connectivity. As i connect my iphone to my office Wi-Fi, internet works in one building, but it doesnt work in the other building, although the phone shows Wi-Fi is connected in the other building. This problem was not there earlier but has occured recently. I would also like to mention that none of my other colleauges who uses iphone are not facing this issue. Please help me out!!

Microphone not working during the phone calls
Hi dear colleagues,
I've been using my STL100-2 for 3 weeks and suddenly my microphone stopped working during the phone calls.
It is 100% not a hardware problem because voice input works fine.
The microphone works correctly when I turn the speaker on. And when I use the headset as well.
What is wrong there? I tried hard reset, flashed my BB to the latest 10.2 and it didn't solve my problem: the other side could not hear me.b
Please, help me as I cannot do a very simple thing - make calls on my phone without those freaky tricks.
Thank you!I have a similar problem, I found that it worked ok after I made a Skype call to the phone or if I called the phone from my playbook using video chat it would seem to start working, then it got worse and I found if I squeezed near the mick it would work ok. I also saw another thread where they had similar problems and solutions were possibly linked to loose screws on the plastic casing around the area of the mic as the author suggests it could be an assembly issue. I plan to check mine when I get to work tomorrow as I have no screw drivers small enough on my person right now. Anyway try it you never know it may give you a clue to the problem.

Did you try another restore and this time not to restore from a backup and see if that makes a difference? This is what Apple would tell you to do next based on my iphone 5 fiasco.
Make sure all your data is available on your computer for manual syncing later.
Since you did the hard reset I assume that means your home button isn't broken only that it got frozen before. Were you able to get the Apple logo after the reset? Did it boot?
And you are using iTunes 10.7?

Reinstall the software properly. migration/ backups do not work due to the specific requirements of the activation system.

i just got an IPad and it seems to be interfering with my Iphone. Facetime doesnt work unless the other device is shut off. apps aren't syned. email doesn't some in quickly on the phone
The machine could be repaired by a company that does circuit board re-soldering, since it is possible a heat-flex solder break on the main board may have caused either the processor or graphics chips to lose connection and that could manifest itself in a few somewhat documented ways.
There is an on-board RAM chip that may also have something to do with a kernel panic, if it no longer is functioning correctly; that is the non-removable one soldered on the board you never usually worry about.
Companies such as powerbookmedic, wegenermedia, and others can take in portable macs of vintage or newer (contact them for details on what they do, and how they accept work orders) for repair and can fix most anything; and have a parts inventory. Modern repair workstations allow the equipped service company to fix complex issues and they do troubleshooting. Sometimes the cost is less than a replacement logic board.

Usually the issue is caused by hardware, especially if there is an indication of machine failure in the crash log or other screen image text.
A working last model MacBook (mid-2010) would be a better 'first mac' to have.
Hopefully you can sort it out.
If not, there likely are fair parts in it.

i have been trying to get my ibook g4 fixed from apple for 6 years now. my ram doesnt work and the logic board is f'd up aswell... i know 12 people that have had the same issue. 4 of them got there ibooks replaced. anyone know what to do? all 4 ibooks were replaced outside warranty, why wont apple help me...
Apple supports most of their computer products for a 7 year period, could be that your IBook is well past any kind of help.Secondly parts are no longer being made for this machine and never will be again. Finally I find it hard to believe that nothing has been done with this for 6 years.Have you documented the reasons why you were turned down for repairs ? were the replaced Ibooks within a couple of months of warranty expiration? What model is your IBook ? At least if we knew what the model #, some of the more techy types could find out if there were any repair programs for your model.
Seems odd that you'd hang on to a non-working IBook for that long. -

the device from my computer. Itunes begins to freeze shortly after syncing begins-even the apple senior tech was confused? I upgraded to ios 5.1 i dont know if thats the problem, but my photo album doesnt work. I made alot of photos, but if i enter the photo album they're not there. it says : No photos or videos you can sync them etc....
