Microphone feeds back and distorts in VOIP apps on Touch
I have a problem with the microphone feeding back into earphones in VOIP apps like Fring and Truphone. Sometimes I can fix it by repeatedly pressing the remote button. Now that Skype has been released, I find I can eliminate the feedback by pressing the "Speaker" button in the app that appears when the call is connected. Its a usable workaround, but has anyone else experienced this problem? I haven't seen anyone mention it on these discussion boards.
I have the same problem. This also happens in recording programs, such as Gigbaby and Sonoma's Fourtrack (which is incredibly annoying).
With Gigbaby, I usually end up just trying to record until it doesn't have that distorted, octave-y drudge. Which is a solution, but not a very good one.

I upgraded from iPhone 3GS to iPhone 6. Everything converted fine. Yesterday I deleted an app in error. When I downloaded the software it from iTunes ( did this many times on the old 3GS), my account is no longer recognized by the app's host servers (Playtika), even though it did after the initial conversion. Can I go back and re-sync just one app from my old phone?
Try deleting what is called the iPod Photo Cache.

I have paid for an extended support through the Apple protection plan. Frankly I do not understand what I´ve paid for as there is no support and no plan, except ignorance and waiting time.
I have had and still have serious problem with my Mac Book Pro, and spent loads of money on phone charges with mainly negative results. All I have "achieved" is wasted time. I just wonder if it is only me who feel totally helpless as the Support People are not really helping. I´ve spent approsmimately 200 USD in phonecharges on their support phone, so far. But that is nothing compared to the hours spent waiting for answer and listening no absolute nonsense. Finally I went to an Apple store who sent the machine in for repair, and one fault was the motherboard. However I could still not connect with my Time Capsule and Aperture seemed to have lost all my photos. This all happende after upgrading to Mountail Lion. Also the cable network isn´t working. I can easily see on the net that I am not the only one with problems. I´ve ended up with solving most of this myself, except the network connection. It is still not working.
I am actually deeply dissapointed with Apple and I cannot find any way to even forward a complaint. Not that I believe it would help, but at least I´ve tried. I also think it would be fair to to get my money back for a product I´ve paid for which obviously isn´t working, namely the Apple Care Protection Plan.Hi, so you suggest I should be grateful for getting what I have paid for? I was even adviced to hold back on taking the Mac Book Pro to a store, as I was told the support person a senior, would figure it out. Well Apple definiately squezzed the lemon! Since the Time Capsule/Time Machine system didn't fuction I was also in a stale mate as I needed assurance that My files wasn't lost when delivering the machine for repair. I was adviced that could happen. Quite a deadlock wasn't it! As an expert on Quality Assurance I was also suffering lost revenue in my work for clients. I finally had to buy a Samsung Ultrabook as working machine and backup, a neccesity as Apple obviously cannot be trusted when needed. Bill Gates and Windows has one advantage over Apple, they know things can go wrong and hence have much better support. Apple support is a maze were only the strongest and most persistent get through. I am one as I didn't accept being treated like that. That's the only reason I finally got a repair. However the machine is still not functioning as mentioned. I have a case number, a phone number and mail address to a senior support person, whom I've been trying to contact for more than a week, He has still not responded to my mails or phone calls. I cannot even figure out how to contact Apple to complain about such ignorance. Note by the way that here in Norway I must pay to call support and more often than not there is more than half an hour waiting time. I might spend hundred of dollars in that "game" without even knowing that I will get the support I've paid for and only keep paying even more for wasting my time! This is simply not good enough, it is no less than arrogant and wrong! I frankly think Apple is doing a big mistake with such por treatmen of their customers.

I bought a 5 dollar app that didn't do what I understood it would do. Can I get my money back or even a credit? The app I bought I wanted it to zip a file video so I could get the video off my iPhone cause it took up all my hard drive space and it wouldn't zip a file from my phone like I understood it did. So since then I've found a free izip that did what I needed. Is there any way to get my money back and or return the app?F

Error updating RSS feed, email and calendar
About 2 weeks ago my Droid X running Gingerbread, stopped updating RSS feeds, email and calendar but other apps/widgets seem to work fine.
If I go in to the RSS feed and try to subscribe to a new feed I get the following error message, "Can't add news subscription now. Try again later."
Also noticed that Check for update gives "Check for update is not available at this time. Try again later."
My thought was to try to manually reinstall Gingerbread. Followed instructions found on other forum sites but when trying to reload GB from recovery I get the following error:

Thanks for providing your experience on refreshing the RSS feeds on your device. Based on the information you have given and what Cody21 previously stated, I recommend as factory reset also. Before doing a reset, I suggest verifying that your contacts are saved on Gmail and/or backup assistant and calendars are backed up on your Gmail account. This is to ensure that your personal info can easily be restored after the factory reset. Any digital media, like pictures and videos, will be saved on your memory card & won't be erased unless you wish to do so.
Once the reset is done, try to access and update your RSS feed to your preference to confirm that the issue is resolved. If so, please respond to this posting so other can benefit from your experience. If not, then feel free to elaborate on your experience after the reset so we can further assist.

Apple has dropped RSS Feeds from Safari and Mail.
As fas as I know the only way to get them back is a third party app.
I have found Vienna RSS to work even better then the old way with Safari and Mail.

I have deleted hundreds of pictures, I've deleted apps, deleted emails and texts, and I've turned off and deleted backups of apps on icloud and it is still telling me that there is not enough icloud storage available for my phone to be backed up. I am supposed to do this before I go to the Apple store today to get my phone fixed. Can someone please help me? I have done almost everything.
This article explains ways to reduce your iCloud storage: Managing your iCloud storage. In addition to what's mentioned in the article, if you have lots of photos and videos attached to your text messages, these are all included in your iCloud backup and deleting them can sometimes significantly reduce the size of your backup.
If worse comes to worse, back up your phone to your computer rather than iCloud. To do this, connect it to your computer, open iTunes and go to File>Devices>Back Up and to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. This can be used to restore your data when you get your phone back. (In fact, it's faster because you don't have to download the data from iCloud.) -
The iOS5 erased all my apps. Went to get them back and only part of it was recognized by Apple store. The others the store prompts to pay. I tried to go back to the old system and restore but as it was in sync an error ocurred and now I don´t have even the operating system. It won´t rebbot. I am afraid it will not stop searching the booting system until batery is dead and it will take many hours.
Any chance somenone ran into the same problem that could help?The only people who can possibly assist you with this is Apple Customer Relations, call your local Apple contact number and ask for Customer Relations then explain your situation clearly and politely (be firm but don't rant).
You might want to investiage what the local laws are regarding defective goods and 'fit for use' definitions on warranties etc. Consumer Protection can be a useful tool to use or bargain with if needed ... -

I downloaded iso5 and lost all my apps. I know i can get them back but what about all the documents i have now lost through Pages? And to a lesser extent the levels and scores i got to with my games (eg. angry birds)?
On your iPad tap Settings > Store
Make sure Apps is switched on.
For Documetns tap Settings > iCloud. Make sure Documents & Data ia switched on.
Now resrtart your iPad. Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears. -

I have a macbook pro and I connected a new iphone to my computer. Somehow all my pictures in the iphoto app deleted. How can I get them back, and no I do not have my TimeMachine On. Please help!
If you are running Lion then all drivers are distributed through Software Update. You do not need to install anything, other than to install the printer in System Preferences > Print & Scan. If you already added the printer while it was connected using USB, you might want to delete it and set it up again wirelessly to avoid confusion. Or, give them two distinct names e.g. "Photosmart D110 (USB)" and "Photosmart D110 (wireless)".
All scanning functions are now performed using Preview, but you can also access the scanner through the same Print & Scan preference pane, or with Image Capture.

I made a in app purchase on a game and it never took, when I went back and tried it again a window popped up that said I have already purchased this item but has not been downloaded yet? How do I download it when there is not a option to download?

I would suggest restarting the iPad and see if the download resumes.
