My ipad2 is problem with Microphone ,Skype, video camera. Help me .

When you say problem what do you mean? Doesn't work at all, muffled or grainy sound?
You could work out if this a hardware problem by plugging in an external mic (from say an iPhone) and testing on this mic. I would guess that if you don't have the issue then it's a hardware problem, if you continue to have the same problem I'd reset the iPad to factory settings (after a full backup), test again, if it works you had a software problem, put your back up back on. If you have the same problem with a factory reset it is a hardware issue.

Problem ipad2 microphone

Hi! I have a problem whith my ipad2 3G microphone! The level is very very low. I can't use FaceTime and video recording. May I change it to a new one in retail store in Miami ? Or somebody send me an address where I can repair it. And I have a flash point on the screen near frame.

I have the same problem, my mic level is very low! I have to speak very close to the mic to make it work!

Microphone connection problems with SB audigy 2 ZX platinum pro

I am using an old SB audigy 2 ZX platinum pro purchased back in 2004. It is installed on a PC that I stopped using it in 2005. The pc has no problems and I have started using it again.My problem is that I cannot connect the microphone. Everything was working fine at the time I was this pc including the microphone.At that time I had installed win xp pro( no service packs were available). But after I had to move physically in another location(connection and disconnections etc)and a pc format I cannot use the microphone again. I am trying to connect it to the front panel and to the appropriate places as indicated in the user manual but nothing is happening. I have connected properly the sound cart and all other components are working fine. I checked whether the microphone is checked to silent mode and all other software/di'vers nonetheless everything is working fine. I am now using Win xp pro sp3. I have contacted Creative and they told me to check the mic boost option. But there is no mic boost option now. I clearly recall that there was one when I was using this pc in 2004 under win xp pro(again no service packs were available at that time).One solution I could think is to format again and install some old version of win xp pro (say 2003 or so) and then update to current. But I do not want to format again since I do not have that version of windows available(copyright issues may also raise) plus for some other reasons I do not think I should mention them on an Internet forum. I also tried to download the latest drivers ans apps form creative ,clean installation from the orginal cd including Daniel_K pack and everything someone could think without solving the issue.Creative during our last communication in a very polite way told me to stop emailing them and try to solve the issue on my own as this product is no longer supported. One thing I neglected to mention above is that the mic boost option is available in the motherboard sound chipset. I checked it in one of my attempts to solve the problem. But it disappears when installing the SB driver. I know that if I manage to configure mic boost in the driver settings I will solve the problem.But once again there is no such option. Could you please provide with some suggestions and solutions on how to solve this?. Thank you very in advance for any suggestion and help

Network problem Ipad2

I've got a problem with my network connection when i wake my ipad2 from "sleep mode". I need to "renew lease" to get it to work.
Any one who got the same problem?
I've also got an iphone 3gs on the same network, and it's not having any problem. Any sugestions?

Satellite Pro U400 - microphone reception problem after installing xp sp3

I had Vista then recently I installed windows XP SP3 from scratch (not downgraded). I downloaded latest drivers from Toshiba and installed them. Now I have a problem with microphone. Sound playback from speakers is well but reception level of built-in microphone is very low and often unrecognizable. I use a voip program. In Vista, microphone was working better.
Now in WXP, I am told that they can't hear me or my voice is very low and hardly recognizable. I also tried sound recorder in windows. My voice is like I am talking from ten meters away.
I don't have an external microphone so I can't tell if line-in micro. is working well.
In previous posts people mention downloading a hotfix for xp sound issues but I am not sure if applies to my situation.

I did not use the recovery disc. I used another disc I have with SP3. So, I had to install the drivers manually. Everything is perfect now except the microphone. I re-installed sound drivers today, nothing changed. I think tempro is for Vista only.
Microphone is recognizedby the system but the problem is it does not capture the sound properly.
In my voip software, there is a test for microphone. I can see the bar moving as I speak but I can not hear my own voice when play the record, even at 100% volume, just some noise and a low .
If I check the "microphone boost" from properties, I can hear my recorded voice but with a lot of noise and still lower than normal volume.
Can it be related to another drive or some adjustment I overlooked? I also applied the recommendations for sound quality that are on Skype help pages.

Microphone mute problem??

I bought the original iphone 3G off ebay and replaced it to a refurb at Apple Store. After about 2 weeks, the microphone stops working from time to time (sometimes works sometimes not). I tried cleaning the jack, restart, reset, restore, plugging and unplugging the headset, no dice... I simply cannot be heard by the other end of the phone.
Is my last bet going to Apple Store again?\
ps. the original 3G I replaced didn't have any problem of mic, neither did my 2G iphone which has been serving for 2 yrs.

I have the same problem with my iphone and I got it like a month ago. Sometimes the sound works and sometimes it doesn't this gets annoying specially when someone is calling you and you can't hear them or they can't hear you. I updated my iphone,restore, restart, plug in and out the earphone but unfortunately im still having the same problems. So I went to the apple store and they told me that there was a liquid problem at the bottom of the phone... which is close to the speaker and they can't fix that. So the only alternative was to purchase another iphone...$200. I didn't pay for it cuz i didnt have the money right now but i am very disappointed by apple because they couldn't fix my phone. The iphone is very sentisive and i dont remeber seeing my phone wet or something like that. I'm pretty sure they can fix it..they just dont want to cuz they want u to buy another phone (they get more money)
as soon as other cool phone comes out im gonna buy it and bye bye iphone. i rather have a windows mobile like the one i used to have.

Microphone/Audio Problems

I recently purchased an Inspirion 14 5447 laptop. Everything was working great until I tried to video chat with friends. The microphone would not work. I could hear the other participants and play music so the speakers were working fine. I could not record a sound in the sound recorder. The more I investigated the more fristrated I got. I called a technical support representative and together we tried for hours to resolve the issue. Nothing seemed to work including reinstalling the audio drivers and even refreshing the computer. The only option I was given at that point was to ship the computer to a depot for a warranty service.
The next day I opend my laptop and heard a ringing/echo coming from the speakers (like when a microphone has interfearance at a concert). When I opened the Dell Audio window (not sound) the microphone was turned "off". As soon as I hit mute the noise stopped. If I unmuted and turned the microphone to "on", the microphone would stop working all together. Basically my microphone works, so long as it is actually turned "off". Something in the audio driver seems to be messed up.I seem to have found a way to make things work, but I was wondering if there was an explanation or permanent repair for this problem.

If you first noticed the problem when trying to video chat, settings in your video chat utility could be attempting to control the microphone. If you are using SKYPE the following document may be of help.
Here is a "FIX IT" page from Microsoft that may help as well.
You can also manually change it in Windows.
Right click on the speaker icon on the toolbar and choose recording devices. Choose the microphone from the list and choose properties.
Click the Advanced tab.
Under Exclusive Mode make sure that " Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" is not checked.

T510 Microphone & Speaker Problem

Hi All:
Got my notebook back from the repair center after they replaced the motherboard and restored my hard drive to factory setting (they erased the microsoft office partition for some reason).
Unfortunately, the microphone doesn't work. I've tried uninstalling the driver & installing the lastest version from Lenovo's website multiple times but this has not helped. I physically checked the cables and everything is correctly connected. Verified that I did not mute the microphone and increased the gain to no avail. Performed a full restored and update the Lenovo drivers first before performing any Windows 7 (64) updates but problem remained.
Also, when the Thinkvantage Tools checks the functionality of the speakers by playing a sound from the left to the right speakers, something goes wrong. The left speaker produces sound but the right speaker does not produce any sound. It's strange because if I play an audio file, then sound comes from both speakers. I manually change the balance and the right speaker works normally. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Is this a driver issue or do I have a hardware problem?

Looks like it'll need another warranty call. Do check to see if microphone was somehow disabled under BIOS.
The Ubuntu pointing drivers heavily, heavily, heavily favour touchpad accelerations, etc, and have absolutely horrid TrackPoint support. The UltraNav touchpad settings need some adjustment to be rendered optimal.

Lavalier microphone capture problems

I just upgraded to FCP 6. I shot an interview with my new lavalier and it sounds great in the camera and even in log/capture preview however its barely audible once I've captured it. However, off the same tape once I've removed the microphone line and rely on the internal microphone it captures the audio just fine. Apparently I have some sort of capture preset problem that I can't seem to resolve. Please help if you can. Thanks.

What a life saver! Pan was the fix. However Pan center didn't make a difference. I panned to -1db on channel 1 and +1 on channel 2. Every time I think I'm understanding audio something else comes along. It don't have QT Pro installed so I just relatively adjusted it Final Cut. FYI...I was monitoring my recording and capture on my Sennheiser headphones using a brand new Audio Technica Pro 70 which was just awesome. As far as my camera I had to use my TRV 900 because the XL1S I was using turned into the beast and began eating tapes. Yikes! Thanks all!

A215-S7437 - headphone and microphone + soundcard problems

I searched in several parts of the Internet for instructions on how to make my headphone and microphone jacks work as properly as they were when I got a Toshiba Satellite A215-S7437 laptop.
One day I heard an odd sound in my headphone and/or microphone outlets, and sometime (probably a day) later, my laptop completely froze (even I couldn't move the mouse) whenever I start running the microphone's driver. Next, I found one thread in this forum saying that I must reinstall the Realtek audio driver, but when I did, and after I plug in the headphones and microphone, the speakers stay on, while the microphone doesn't function at all and the volume control on the bottom-right corner of the screen can't adjust the volume when the headphones and microphone were inserted, although the slider can still be moved. Then I found another thread that said to set the headphones to default while making sure the microphone is unmuted.
I'm also going to ask how to record audio on-screen, like using Audacity to record what's playing in an .SWF audio player. The desktops I have at home already included that function when they were brand new, but not this laptop.
I need to know how to solve these problems. I appreciate it.

Ios8 download problem ipad2

Ever since I updated to ios8 on my Ipad2, I cant connect with Facebook on a quick link... I have to log on to Safari, type in the FB address and log on. The most frustrating issue is i is I can NOT SIGN OUT OF Safari... The "X" close icon is no longer visible and the last page displayed before the update is continuously running in the background ((draining the battery). Even powering off and on does not correct the constant Safari issue. HELLO, APPLE!!!! Can you please tell me what I need to do to fix the problems??

Close Safari as follows:
Double-tapping the Home button will bring up the running apps icons along with an app screenshot "card" above the icon. Tap-drag the app's -card- (NOT the icon) up and off the screen.
Afterwards, reset the device:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

Flash player 12 Microphone Sleep problem

      We have a Flex project , to do live chat with AMS , we found that the Microphone
have a problem within flash player 12, here is the issue:
      When start video chating, the video and audio is ok, but after a while, the microphone stop capture，seem like into “sleep” state.
     But when open the flashplayer setting,change the microphone setting, it awake and work again......
     How can I fix this??????THX

I'm using Windows 8. I tried everyone from shutting down the computer for an hour to uninstalling and reloading Flash Player. Nothing worked last night so I gave up. Tried it again this morning and the sound is working correctly again . . . I guess the computer fairy visited!!! Thank you for responding to my plea but for now, all is good!

Microphone Jack Problem on MSI GX740

Hello all, i have been having a problem with the microphone port on this laptop for a few months now, i noticed the plastic had actually fallen out ( through some sort of force from the microphone jack ) that must have split the plastic away from the laptop, the other ports are fine so i assume its because i use the mic port alot and remove and re insert the jack alot, anyway i didn't think this was something that normally happened, to cut a long story short ive gone into the laptop ( no parts are damaged as i am typing on it now,
therefore i shouldnt have voided the warranty?) and ive attempted to figure out whats wrong, now theres a metal plate that was in a sort of [ shape that was loose in the case, i dont know how it got loose but i had a look and realized it should go onto that port, so i managed to get it back onto the port, still loose, so ive put a nut from a nut and washer combination below it, holding it in place, rebuilt the laptop and tried, the port still doesnt work, something tells me the actual port pins ( gold bits?!) are broken and will need proper repair by MSI themselves, ive had the laptop a year and it has 2 year warranty, just hope that i havent voided the warranty by opening the computer, i did have to take all the ram out, the heatsink etc, but i replaced it all correctly and the computer is running correctly, its just the mic port i would like fixing, anyone with any ideas id be very greatful, i dont want to have to use a different computer to record or play games on, or even use a worse quality USB mic that i have knocking around :( many thanks in advance,

Internet 2G 3G Connection problem iPad2

We have two iPads 2, using only 2G or 3G conction, not WiFi. Each iPad 2 has different mobile operator (Megafon and Beeline in Russia). But we always have the same problem: sometimes Internet connection is broken. We can not to use Safari or other programs, podcasts.. But signal of GSM or WCDMA is OK. Some times we switching to fly (off-line) mode - and back, sometimes it helps, sometimes no. Anybody can help us?

I would ask the carrier (orange)
maybe look at their guide of how to setup their 3g connection and compare it to how your ipad is setup

Digital movie download problems ipad2

Help! I can't view my digital movie downloads on iPad2. They do not appear anywhere in iTunes account after loaded through the DVD and viewable on computer....hum...... Ideas?

Films that have downloaded or synced to the iPad should go into the Videos app - do they not show in there ? Have you tried searching for them by name via the iPad's spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right) ?
