Microphone Problem in Beats Audio after upgrading to Win 10

I have a HP Envy 15 j103tx laptop which I recently upgraded to Windows 10. After upgrading, the sound worked well but the little checkbox next to the output source stopped working. As you can see I have two playback devices: one my laptop's speaker and other my tv's speaker which I have connected with a hdmi. I cannot select my device through the checkbox now. It doesn't do anything. Similarly, I also cannot select the Internal Microphone of my laptop. Due to which my microphone no longer works. I have tried to uninstall the IDT drivers and codec and reinstalling it through the HP Customer Support page. http://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-touchsmart-15-j100-notebook-pc-series/5401191/model/6413154 . But to no avail. I request Hp to solve my problem as soon as possible.

Hello i ve updated windows on my ntb and i have little troubles with my beats.When i switch on ntb sound is good but after time is bass, treble, center, space and focus shout down.I ve tried update driver, reinstall, uninstall and install but nothing.Everything is heppening when i am on internet. You have to UPGRADE your 8.1 operating system to Windows 10 first. After the upgrade the it should be automatically activated. After that you can do clean install of Windows 10. It will be automatically activated when online. (During installation it will ask for Product Key couple of times, just click on skip) Since you have already done clean install without upgrading first, you will have to reinstall original Windows 8.1 or do recovery installation. Once you've done that, you upgrade to Windows 10 and do clean install afterwards. (Make sure it's activated before clean install) Remember, the Windows 10 is tied to your paticular computer/motherboard and can not be transfered to other computer/tablet.

OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit While using Windows 8.1, what I did to disable the Beats Audio Control Panel was to update the driver to the generic High Definition Audio, as this guy shows:
https://goo.gl/0XN7Nl When I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, the new OS started using the IDT driver, enabling the Beats Audio Control Panel.
I've tried to do the same under Windows 10 but there was Generic Audio Driver a.k.a. High Definition Audio Driver available. This is what I did:
1. Download, install the High Definition Audio Tool from Microsoft Hardware Dev Center, and restart your PC. This is the generic audio driver that was missing:

7. Select Yes in the Update Driver Warning 8. The High Definition Audio Codec is installed and the Beats Audio Control Panel disabled Now I can hear all my music again without the awful Beats Audio effects and volume variations that are a nag.

There are major reception and battery problems with iPhone 3GS after upgrading to iOS 4.2.1.
I can not believe that Apple did not test this for major bugs like this one is.
I am a business user and can not effort to have bad reception. Apple wants to gain in the business clients... I never had this with my former BlackBerrys!
I need a reliable phone not a play thing like this is right now, it just needs it to work propely. And if a major bug like this comes along, fix it immediately. After the iPhone4 story, now this...incredible! Going back to my reliable BlackBerry! It just ain't reliable and takes forever to fix a problem.

I have the same issue after iOS 4.2.1 update. I am using iPhone 3GS officially unlocked by Apple. I tried using different SIM cards and both carriers show same problem when using phone in 3G mode. Phone falls back to EDGE mode showing 'E' from '3G' at start. I have reset the phone and rebooted several times and moved to different cell areas in the city just to verify the problem.
I had no such issues earlier. I also have Nokia E71 which shows full signal and has no such issues.
I have posted the bug on apple iphone feedback page. I hope they Apple will fix the problem and test the release properly on all models before releasing to public.

The latest flash player release is 11,0,1,152.
Can you upgrade to this version and see whether the crash stil exists?
Go to get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download and install flash player.

It is best to wait till there is a 10.9.1 update as new OS X systems always cause problems to some installations. Better not to risk losing data unless you have a bootable clone that enables you to revert to the original (pre upgrade) state. Haste makes waste.

RSS feeds no longer appear in Mail in Mountain Lion (nor in Safari). You'll need a separate RSS application.

Beats Music after upgrade

Has anyone else experience any issues with the music after the upgrade? What's happening to me is my beats ear buds no longer control the music. I can not start or stop the music via the beats ear buds. If I'm listening to music and get a call it will not longer stop for me to talk on the phone, the music continues to play in the back ground, I have to stop the music manually in order to talk on the phone. The main purpose of the beats phone was the music,so to me this is a major disappointment.

I have an HTC Rezound with the beats earbuds.

Problems with IMAQ Vision after upgrading from Labview 6i to Labview 6.1

We just upgraded from Labview 6i to 6.1.To do this,we uninstalled the 6i version as was suggested by NI and then installed the 6.1 version.Later when we tried to run the old vi's written using Imaq vision, we ran into different problems.Has anyone experienced any similar problems with IMaq vision after upgrading?If so please help me solve this issue.

What kind of problems?
I would strongly suggest that you uninstall IMAQ (all elements) and reinstall them. They register with Windows, probably docked to 6i, and also must be recompiled, which I believe is done in installation.
This is your best bet.
If you still have problems, contact NI and ni.com/ask and start a support inquiry.

After upgrading from Win 8 to 8.1 my DVD RAM GT80N SATA Drive is no longer working

After upgrading from Win 8 to 8.1 my DVD RAM GT80N SATA Drive is no longer recognizing discs. When I first put a disc in the drive runs for a bit and then stops. I've tried updating the driver but it says it has the most current driver. Under manage, it does not show any error codes and it says it is working correctly. I've looked at the regedit and it does not have any of upper and lower filters. I've tried disabling, rebooting, and reenabling. What am I missing? Another issue I've had since upgrading is that my network adapter needs reset several times a day in order to remain connected to wifi.

I suggest following the steps in this document for Drive Cannot Read Discs (Windows 8).
If your CD/DVD Drive Is Not Detected (Windows 8), follow the steps in this document.

System recovery fails after upgrade to Win 8.1 on Satellite L75D-A7283

My elderly uncle forgot the password to his Win 8 user account sometime after upgrading to Win 8.1. He was the administrator, we haven't been able to get Microsoft to reset the account, so I thought to roll back the computer to its factory installation of Win 8.
However, when I try to do that, I get as far as the Reset your PC screen and find that the only target OS is Win 8.1, not the original Win 8. Ok, I accept that. But after choosing to restore Win 8.1, it says "Unable to reset your PC. A required drive partition is missing."
I have examined the disk by removing it and attaching it to another computer and find that both the original Win 8 recovery partition and the new Win 8.1 GPT recovery partition are both there. They just don't seem to be accessible.
It seems that the Win 8.1 upgrade has made the original factory recovery partition inaccessible, which is not particularly helpful. We have no recovery disks to work from, so I think my only recourse is to try to get a Win 8 factory recovery disk from Toshiba, but I wondered if anyone else has a suggestion? Thanks.

It's my understanding the upgrade does not modify any other partitions while upgrading Windows itself. Seems likely something else is wrong.
If you did not create recovery media before and cannot do so now, then obtain it from Toshiba. Scroll down to Get Recovery Media here.
All the information in the section Recovering the Internal Storage Drive, which begins on p. 53 of the User's Guide, should still be applicable.
