MicroSD don't work any more in my Windows PC

Hi,
I want to know if somebody has the same problem than I have with a N series phone;
I just buyed a 1 GB microSD with miniSD and SD adapter from Sandisk for my N73.
The first time, a put it in my Windows PC, I can read it, copy a lot of file in there (pdfs mainly) and then put the microSD card inside the miniSD adapter an then into the phone ...
Everything works fine !
The second time, when I tried to put the microSD in the PC to copy more files, it doesn't work !!!!!!
The microSD doesn't work in my PC. Windows even not recognize that there is a SD card in the slot, the microSD with the SD adapter.
I already spend a lot of time trying to resolve the problem, I already update drivers in the PC, I made a lot of test and this is the result:
When I put a diferent SD card in the PC, for example, from an camera, it works fine, the SD PC reader can read the SD card, but not the may from the N73.
There is only one error message that I have from Windows XP: There is no media in the Removable Drive (SD3 Device)
The funny thing is that the original Nokia miniSD and the new microSD with miniSD adapter works fine in the N73.
Some body has any idea to resolve this ?
There is some kind of incompatibility between the Windows XP and Symbian OS?
or
Symbiam OS put some mark on the device that Windows can read ?
I need to transfer a lot of files and exchange the mobile cards through the day and is easer to copy them in Windows Explorer in my PC desktop.

Hey, I saw your post and I am experiencing the same issue. I downloaded iOS 7 on Sunday and everything was fine until yesterday when the lock soinds dissapeared. I also noticed that when using headphones the sound is not nearly as loud as it was before the 'upgrade'. I have tried the reboot several times and the issues persist. Before the upgrade the lock sounds would sometimes go out but a restart would clear the problem. Hope you have better luck than I have on finding a solution.

Is there any way to delete old bookmarks that don't work any more?

As a longtime Firefox user, I have a lot of bookmarks that are old and do not work any more. Is there as easy way to delete these bookmarks or do I really have to try a bookmark, see that it isn't working and then go back in and delete it?

Keyboard Shortcuts for "Sleep", "Restart", "Shutdown" and switching the screen off don't work any more

Hi,
I am running OX Yosemite Version 10.10.2 on an iMac 27 inches.
A couple of days ago a realized that a few keyboard shortcuts that I use a lot didn't work any more. They are:
Sleep --> cmd + alt + eject
Turn of the screen --> **** + ctrl + eject
Shutdown --> ctrl + alt + cmd + eject
Does anybody know why?

Does single-user mode work? Command-S at startup. Since that doesn't rely on anything but the keyboard, this might be a good test.
Have the other keyboard shortcuts ever worked on your computer, or did they recently cease to work?

After uninstalling Google Chrome links in e-mail don't work any more

I have Firefox on my computer. I wanted to try out Chrome. After uninstalling Chrome and reinstating Firefox as my default browser, several things don't work properly, especially links in emails. I tried suggested solution of changing registry key for .html from ChromeHTML to htmlfile or FirefoxHTML but neither works. I just want to be able to click the link and open up the relevant web page.

As someone else has this problem I reply to my own question. Only uninstallling and reinstalling Firefox cures the problem.

HT204053 I tried to download some music to my new computer, when I tried, it said that the apple id was used before on 5 other computers. The computers it was used don't work any more. What do I do ? I don't want to lose all the music I purchased.

Thank you for the question. It sounds like you have authorized five computers, but you no longer have access to all five computers.
You can deauthorize all the computers associated with your Apple ID and then authorize the computers you still use.
Use these steps to deauthorize all computers associated with your Apple ID:
Deauthorize all computers
After you authorize two computers, you'll have the option to deauthorize all computers for your Apple ID. You can deauthorize all computers once a year. You should deauthorize all your computers in these cases:
If a computer doesn't work anymore
If you don't have one of your computers
If you used 5 authorizations and want to authorize a new computer
To deauthorize all your computers, follow these steps:
Click to open your account in iTunes (you may need to sign in with your Apple ID), or follow these steps:
Open iTunes and click iTunes Store.
Click Sign In and enter your Apple ID.
Click your Apple ID and select Account.
Click Deauthorize All.
The Deauthorize All button appears only if you have more than two authorized computers.
Once you have deauthorized all the computers, use these steps to authorize the computers you have access to:

The problem just started. I don't know exactly when. I think there may have been a download to the new Firefox.

Tabbing works fine for me. In fact it tabs even when the data is incorrect.
As I've suggested hundreds of times in the forum, post your small demo program that exhibits the described behaviour. Given that you have a problem that you can't solve how to you know the posted code is causing the problem?

IPad with a second iTunes library sync: all apps don't work any more...how can I fix the problem?

I was used to sync my iPad (iOs 4.3.5) with my main personal computer (with windows 7 64 bit on it) but after the pc went off I synchronized the iPad to my laptop (windows vista 32 bit) just for searching iOs update...the result was that any apps work anymore!!!!! How can I fix the problem?

If it's happening on all the apps that you've downloaded from the App Store, but not the Apple built-in ones, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted.
If it's happening on all apps then try closing them all completely and then see if they work when you re-open them : from the home screen (i.e.not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of each app to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

USB external hard drive and thumb drive don't work any more...

I have a dual 2GHz PowerPC G5...and i've been using my USB external hard drive and thumb drives for a year with no problems....but now when i plug them in, my mac does not see them...the lights on the external hard drive and thumb drives come on as normal but nothing else...it does this on all the USB ports(front and back) BUT my iPod, keyboard and mouse, and HP printer (that use the same USB ports) works fine....(also i'm running Mac OS X 10.5.2)....help....

You can't transfer songs from iPod to computer using iTunes, except for songs that you purchased from the iTunes Store (you can also re-download them using the iTunes Store Purchased screen). However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer song files from iPod to computer. If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
Once the song files are on your computer, drag the files (or the folder containing the files) to the iTunes window, to add them to the iTunes library.

Need Help! Invites from Calendar to my PC-Outlook clients don't work any more

I recently upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion. Pre-ML, I could send an iCal meeting invitation to clients using Outlook on PC, and they could reply back with Accept/Decline, etc. It all worked perfectly well. Since upgrading, the new Calendar seems to have lost the ability to communicate back and forth with PC calendars. Clients get an email, but it doesn't seem to be compatible. Can anyone tell me what's going on and how to fix it?

I found a solution, thanks to another post here...
If you get an invite from a collegue who is using MS Outlook, and they send an .ics invite, within the Calendar App on a Mac with Mountain Lion,
1. open the Calendar app
2. view the email with the ics invite
3. Drag n Drop the invite into the Calendar
This helps it import properly.
Not sure about the other direction of the bidirectional interface...

Start/Stop times don't work any more!

I'm not sure if this is only since the iTunes 6.0.2 and OS10.4.4 update, but I can't set the start and stop times under options for songs or videos anymore. I am able to change the numbers in the option window, and when I open the option window (under Get Info), the numbers are still changed, but they have no (shortening) effect on the song.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Yeah. I made a song in GarageBand and wanted to take a single 30+ song and cut it in half and it'll start off that way, but the times aren't effected. This USED to work, but not in this case.

Upgrade from Tiger makes smart folders not work any more.

I tag certain categories of applications with Spotlight comments, and create a smart folder to find those files with that Spotlight comment. This way I can have a folder for 'games', for example.
Those smart folders don't work any more in Snow Leopard.
The Spotlight comments are still there, tho.
Here is what is stranger. If I recreate the smart folder, it still does not work.

Ug! I have to reenter all the Spotlight comments on each Application. That fixes it.
Not sure if recreating smart folders was necessary, tho.

Mini displayport doesn't work any more

My Mini Displayport doesn't work any more with VGA, DVi, just with the Apple Cinema Display. It started one week ago, I've tried many different monitors, but it seems to be that it only works with the Apple Cinema Display, Thunderbolt Ethernet Adapter is also accepted but nothing else. PRAM, SMC, booting from an Harddisk with Mavericks (I'm on 10.10.2), Safe Mode, nothing works. I have a Macbook Air, 11 " from Mid 2013, no warranty any more. Today I was at Bense, a german reseller (thank you guys for your effort), they did the same tests and some more, but also found nothing. Is there anyone with the same problems and a solution for it?

Does it work on the other command key? I typically use the one to the left of the space bar, and at one point of time, it stopped working. but then i started to use the command key to the right of the keyboard which worked. but, then i started using the one that wasn't working, and just clicking slowly rather than quickly, and now it seems to work again. Don't know why . . . but that is what happened for me.
