Hi There, I had the same problem but found a solution online. The update app had been installed but was not running: "If the upgrade app has been installed in your computer, you can try to manually run the app by going to "C:\Windows\System32\GWX" folder and run GWX.exe file." Hope it helps Cheers

MicroSD Max Capacity on BB 8830 CURVE

What is the largest capacity Micro SD card I can install on the BB 8830 8GB, 16GB, 32GB? And will the phone recognize all the capacity?

Lenovo Miix 2 8 brightness

I bought a miix 2 8 inch the last week, i really like it.
There is something strange about the brightness level.
It seems that using the windows slide bar, it reach the maximum level at 50% of the bar.
From the 50% to the 100% of the bar it doesn't change the real brightness of the device.

I do have the same problem here. How can I increase its brightness? We have to the same lenovo miix 2 11 tablets at home. The one 's screen brightness is not high enough even if it reaches the maximum in the bar (manually doing it). Thank you

It s a simple mouse device
It s a strange technical choice, but we have a tactil screen for that... (stupid monkey engineer)

Miix 2 11 Tablet case?

I am searching for a case for the tablet portion only of my Miix 2 11, not a sleeve or folio, but a case, similar to the Moko case. Anyone know of a case that fits the Miix 2 11?

I sent this question to Lenovo support directly last week, and just now I got a response.
Surpisingly, it seems that it was my message to Support that prompted them to look at what's on their website -- and fix it.
I assume that the reference to "Rhythm" was just a typo/error, that the BIOS update itself was correct, but it's kinda scary that something as hyper-critical as a BIOS update wold be mislabeled.
So, NOW I'll run the BIOS update.
Here's Lenovo Support's final response to my message, which appears at the bottom:

Why does the "README" for this BIOS update download say that it's intended for the Lenovo "Rhythm", rather than the Miix 2 11? When I launched the software exe file the intro warned the same thing "..intended for the Rhythm only..", so I stopped the installation. Please explain. Dear Lenovo support Forum,
I have a Lenovo Miix 2 10"1 without keyboard, 64Gb version with office 2013 home and student license.
On my disk had 16Gb space after my programs installed.
So I tried to save the whole drive to my nas bit-to bit but I could't boot to a linux while i swithced off the secure boot.
I made a new windows 8.1 core installer prepared to Wimboot.
I Installed to the internal drive everything and after the office-updates-drivers-softwares-email-backups i have now 40Gb free space, the CPU freq now on IDLE is under 1Ghz ( better for battery) and i have more RAM.
Now I have a really big problem: I forgot to write down my original Windows 8.1 core key. How can i get it back?
I downloaded a read-write everything software ( x86) but I cannot find a same MSDN?? field at ACPI so I could not get the windows 8.1 key from the BIOS.
Is there any way to get is back? I have all of the SN noumber, etc so how?
Or from this point I have to buy a new operation system?

You can download RWEverything utility from http://rweverything.com/ run it, select table ACPI, then tab MSDM and you can see the key. That command line command works on my miix2, I can't say why not on your computer.

Current Capacity Max Capacity

i am working on weblogic 8.1 sp5 ,with the following configuration:
initial Capacity =20
max Capacity =20
Capacity Increment:2
after fail over operation
i got that the current Capacity of the pool become 22 which is bigger than max Capacity
is there a specail problem with this veriosn of weblogic or how can i explain this ?

Thanks for the reply. The reason why we switched from initial capacity = max capacity stratgey was because of the database issues that we encountered. There was significant DB proceses (resource) consumption although when only 1/4 of connections (in turn db resources) would have been sufficient. I fail to understand why the approach as specified in the current config is not working as desired. You have mentioned about a possibility of a bug. Can you please elaborate or point me to right documentation?
Also, why is the connection pool itself getting closed frequently (possibly every transaction)?

Lenovo Miix 2 8 Windows Store not working

I just purchased the Lenovo Miix 2, and having problems loading the windows store.
It would just sit on the green splash screen and the circle dot keeps rotating, but nothing happens.

Then choose to run Command Prompt (As Administrator)
Next type 'WSReset.exe'
Restart and try again.

Lenovo Miix 3 10.1 Low resolution

I recently purchased a Lenovo Miix 3 10.1" screen, even though the specifications page states that it has a native 1920 x 1200 screen resolution I only get three options to change it in the intel graphics app, none of which go beyond 1280 x 768. I already updated bios, drivers and windows 8.1 to their latest versions. I also tried setting a custom resolution but the option appears disabled.

when i bought it, i was also considering a asus transformer tf100 iirc it is alot worse offering, models with keyboard, without keyboard, with32 gbs of hdd, 1 gb or 2 gbs of ram, hard disk on keyboard or no hard disk option at all it is a mess worse than this one, at least 720(almost) is perfectly usable on this size of screen, or at least i find it usable the other thing i would like to get on this tablet was the rear camera, but since this is a big tablet, that camera wouldn't be of any use

New Lenovo Miix 2 10 camera focus issue

I just bought the new version of Miix 2 10 silver with the Intel Atom Z3740 and I found that the main back camera is absolutelly not useable. All pictures are max blur, not focused like on the phones before 8 years. I really do not want to beleive that this device has no camera focus and I will not take any sharp picture. If I take picture from 30cm, 1m or 5 meters all are same and crazy not focused. Any help please? I am really sad.

This is the design problem in Miix. There is foam cushing in the rear cover pressing the camera. Due to the pression, the camera can not focus. You have to remove by you. Lenovo will not do for you. Openning the back cover is much more easier than openning any smartphone. Use a plastic pryer. Use softer foaming to secure the camera!

On the lenovo webpage for this product, and on Amazon, there was a picture that shows that the tablet has two separate connectors. A power connector, and a micro-usb connector. I need to charge the tablet and use usb at the same time. Is there a way to do it with the combined usb+power connector WITHOUT the need to connect the keyboard part?

Lenovo Miix 3 1030 Folio Tastatur funktioniert nicht

Ich habe vor wenigen Tagen mein Lenovo Miix 3 erhalten und von Anfang an hat die Folio Tastatur nicht funktioniert - ausser das umstellen in den Flugmodus, dies funktioniert problemlos und somit ist es eigentlich gegeben, dass die Tastatur mit dem Tablett verbunden ist. Nach dam Update von Windows und Akutalisierung aller Treiber ist das Problem immer noch nicht gelöst. Sehr schade, da es sich hier an und für sich um ein gutes Gerät handelt, aber ohne Tastatur für mich leider nicht zu gebrauchen ist. Gibt es zu diesem Problem eine Lösung?
