MicroSD no longer accessible

I have a Griffin express slot/34 multi-card reader. I was copying data from my FW800 drive to a microSD card via SD adapter in the griffin reader. The transfer froze up and I couldn't seem to force a successful restart of finder. I did a hard shutdown of the laptop and brought it back up. I can now no longer access the microSD card; other card types show up when inserted into the reader, including SD cards ..just not this microSD with SD adapter. Same scenario when trying to access via XP in vmware; everything but THIS card shows up.
I've restarted several times with various scenarios: reader in but card out, reader and card out then inserted, reader and card in..none seem to work. I've also put the microSD into my phone and it's fully readable.
I'm sure there's something cached in the system pertaining to this card that I need to reset, but I have no idea where to look. Please advise.
as an odd side note, the files I was transferring from the FW800 drive no longer appear in results when I do a spotlight search ..even though I can see them there in finder. all of the spotlight rebuild tools i've found, however, only allow a rebuild on the system drive, not externals. any advice on that front is appreciated as well (shoot, it may all be correlated, who knows).

update: i was able to get ahold of a windows box with SD reader ...saw the microSD-in-SD adapter, no problems. went ahead and formatted it FAT32 again. still won't show up in OS X.
mind ..boggled..etc.

Did you change the email address or create a new Apple ID?
If the email address associated with the account was merely changed, sign out of the Apple ID on the devices and sign in using the new credentials.

You will need that library copied from the old computer. If not, then you can take a look at this in getting 3rd party software to recover your library from the iPod. Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive

My import system is no longer accessible on firefox.

I am using the apsona import tool in both my zen and open carts. After upgrading firefox, the referenced import tool is no longer accessible although I can log into zen-cart and open-cart. The toolbar is accessible in zen but when I click the button to open the apsona tool a new tab opens but does not load the tool. In open-cart, I can log in but the admin toolbar is missing. You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

DFS Shares Prepended by DFS SID and No Longer Accessible

Environment: We use two dfs servers which replicate all namespaces and dfs folders between each other.
There are two namespaces: Data and Users. First server (DC12) has referrals enabled the second server (DC07) has referrals disabled.
This is globally configured across all namespaces and dfs folders.
Both servers are Server 2008 R2 Standard x64 OS. Other roles on these servers include AD DS, DNS, and DHCP.
Issue: Within the Data namespace windows explorer location on DC12 (D:\Data\) the folder structure was mysteriously changed for all (9) dfs folders.
Dfs folders had “DFS.<DFS SID>” prepended to their folder names and are now no longer accessible.
For example: folder previously named “Accounts Receivable” were renamed to “DFS.8c654b7d-0246-4389-ab00-2b1b7027626fAccounts Receivable” within explorer, but are named "Accounts Receivable" within DFS Management.
Additionally, there was another, empty dfs folder created in D:\Data\ called “Accounts Receivable”, but when we try to access it from either D:\Data\ or through \\namespace\data we get an error “Location is not available: The network location cannot
be reached.”
Background: Our server switch died and replication between DC12 and DC07 was interrupted for about 90 minutes.
We replaced the switch and the environment came back online.
When testing to confirm network, resource, and LOB functionality, we discovered this issue and have been thus far unsuccessful in resolving.

Troubleshooting Steps Done So Far:
Restarted DFS Namespace (Dfs), DFS Replication (DFSR), and Netlogon services on both DC12 and DC07
Renaming folders - folders don't exist error
Restarted DC12 and DC07
This issue is ONLY isolated to DC12 and ONLY the Data namespace. DC07 and Users namespace works just fine.
We ended up having to disable DC12 as a referral target and in replication so that clients were pointing to DC07.
I’m hoping that I won’t have to rebuild the Data namespace because it’s massive.
Hoping for some guidance on troubleshooting. Thanks for your time.

As currently the DC07 is still working, a new initial replication should help in this situation. Please try the steps below:
1. Stop the DFSR service on the server that is logging the 4004 event.
2. Navigate to the root of the DFSR folder.
3. Depending on OS, you may need to take ownership of the "System Volume Information" folder and grant yourself permissions (FULL) on the folder.
4. Navigate to :\System Volume Information\DFSR\
5. Rename Database_GUID folder to Olddatabase_GUID
NOTE: For Windows Server 2008 R2 you will need to do this from an elevated command prompt, otherwise any changes made to items in this folder will get reversed by system. You can use command line: ren Database_GUID Olddatabase_GUID
6. Start the DFSR service. You should see an Event ID 2102 in the DFSR event log indicating the database is being recreated, and then an Event ID 2106 indicated it has been successfully recreated.
You can then monitor progress by checking the state of the replicated folder using WMIC command and backlog using dfsrdiag command:
Wmic /namespace:\\root\microsoftdfs path dfsrreplicatedfolderinfo get replicationgroupname,replicatedfoldername,state
The "State" values can be:
0 = Uninitialized
1 = Initialized
2 = Initial Sync
3 = Auto Recovery
4 = Normal
5 = In Error

dfsrdiag backlog /SendingMember: /ReceivingMember: /RGName: /RFName:

apple is capable to make it run paying new license of smb code, but isnted of this, apple has created new protocol smbx and now, all others need to adapt your code to apple..

Thanks for such a prompt reply. As soon as I try to open the pdf I created a File Conversion box pops up asking me to Select the encoding that makes your document readable. It defaults to Other encoding and then just gives me codes. I cannot access the file itself.

We have a 3 nodes Hyper-v Cluster running Windows Server 2012. Recently we start having error below intermittently on a node, and the VMs running on this host and LUN will power off.

The only changes made recently is we installed VEEAM on test basis for DR replication. We switched off the Veeam server and stop the Veeam Services on the Hyper-V Hosts but we are still having same issue.
We are using an EMC SAN connected via FC as Shared storage and Powerpath as Multi-Pathing. No errors were found on the SAN.
I don't think the issue is related to the number of IO as we also experienced the issue at midnight during the week-end where no one was working.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

What do you do when your rescue email is no longer accessible?

How do I reset my password and my security questions - if the apple system insists on sending all messages to a rescue email address that is no longer accessible and won't let me change the rescue address?

If you don't have access to your current rescue email address (you won't be able to change it until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

Hard Drive (Internal) no longer accessible, icon no longer on desktop!

I was in the process of switching startup disks, which I have done on occasion previously without incident, then the drive was stuck on the startup screen, I pressed the restart button on the front of the computer and have not been able to access the drive since. The icon for that drive no longer appears on my desktop. I have attempted Mucho different things to retrieve the drive to no avail :
1. disk util from internal drive
2. disk util from Tiger DVD install disk
3. TERMINAL Application
4. PMU reset
5. NvRAM reset
6. Removing DRAM then replacing the same memory cards
7. Moving the hard drives around to different bays within the tower
Disk Utility reads (-9972) error when attempting to repair. TERMINAL App. responds with INVALID NODE STRUCTURE VOLUME CHECK FAILED. System profiler does recognize the drive though I currently have no access to the drive.
Drive has many very important files which I had not yet back-upped! I feel like I'm the next person in the group circle to state my name and admit I have a problem not taking disk back-up seriously.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated before, if necessary, shelling out mucho dinero$ for disk repair and file retrieval.

I have the jumpers set as follows: original hard drive as master-jumper vertically to far left; hard drive that is not accessible (Macintosh HD1) jumper positioned horizontally-top row-offset one row past left as diagramed on the hard drive exterior; 3rd hd connected to pci card with ata connection-jumper vertically to far left. After nothing else has resolved the issue Disk Warrior is something I have considered.

SQL Server 2000 (side-by-side with 2012) no longer accessible

We used to access our SQL 2K (SP4) box via PowerShell & BCP without any issue. Recently we added a SQL 2012 instance side-by-side and upgraded Powershell v1 to v4. Now powershell and SSMS can not longer connect to the SQL2k box.
BCP within SQL 2K still has access:

However Powershell does not:

It would appear to have something to do with the native client or .NET. The SQL 2K instance has remote connections enabled, it has SP4 installed, no firewalls are present, all instances are named and TCP is enabled. There are no connection issues to the
SQL 2012 instance.
Does anyone have any ideas on whats going wrong, or what we can correct?

Have you checked if the "SQL Server Browser" is running? When you install a new SQL Server instance the Browser Service will be stopped and you have to start it manually.
