MicroSD not "readable" by Macbook after inserting into Android phone

I inserted a microSD full of photos in my android, which didn't recognize the card. When I put it back in my Macbook Retina, it said the disk was not readable, and it opens DiskUtitlity. Android must have tried to format the card, or done something to it to make it unrecognizable by OSX, but if I re-format it to my Mac, the information will be lost. How can I access the files? I tried placing card back in Android and connecting to Mac with USB, but as I stated, the Android didn't recognize the card in the first place.

I uninstalled and reinstalled my printer and everything seems to work fine now.

Selection breaks after inserting into dataProvider

I have been battling this issue for a couple of days now. I
have a HorizontalList that is using an itemRenderer component that
I created. When I insert an item into the dataProvider using
addItemAt....
1) the item is inserted
2) i see the item rendered correctly in the HorizontalList
However, the selection breaks. What I mean by this is the
newly added items does NOT highlight when I roll over it and if I
click on it, it does not select. This only happens for the newly
added item, all the others that were already in the list work fine
(highlight and can be selected).
I've tried calling validateNow() on the HorizontalList after
inserting into the dataprovider but it doesn't help at all.

I can't believe this, but after 2 days of trying to figure
this out I figured it out just moments after posting to the forum!
Here is what fixed it and I am not sure exactly why. At this
point I don't care...
The dataProvider I was using contained a list of custom
objects. I had a property on the class called uid. When I commented
out this property, everything worked. I don't know what made me
think to try this. I guess my uid property on the class was
conflicting with the uid property on the itemRenderer component or
something.

Solving this requirement on a modern Windows system is going to be problematic too, as the autorun mechanisms are increasingly being locked down over there, if not by the end-user or the system installer, then by the usual anti-malware tools that are installed.
Given this is one of the most vulnerable populations here in terms of operational security, you'll probably want to target online distribution, or to distribute a signed application that can be installed on the target (akin to a managed system) and that then accesses your data on external storage. All that app might do is access the disk, verify that the contents of the device are trusted and valid, and launch the browser.
I'd likely target online distribution or pre-loaded distributions and iOS, as that's where all of the older folks I'm dealing with are headed, too. If not a native app, then maybe a web-app here, and download the contents into the HTML5 local storage.

External Disk Not Readable by OSX after Setting Drive Letter in Windows 7

My external hard drive, which was previously formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled), contains all of my purchased music. I have this external drive connected directly to my iMac via USB. My iTunes in OS X points to this drive.
After installing Boot Camp, I was able to read this external hard drive in Windows 7, but I changed the drive letter used in Windows 7 from E: to G:. Bad idea, apparently...
Now when I boot into OS X, I can no longer read the drive (although I can read it in Windows 7 just fine). I get the error message:
"The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer." [Initialize] [Ignore] [Eject]
When I use Disk Utility to attempt to Repair Disk, I get the following error:

I had this exact problem. I bought a 1 TB My Book, formatted it with Disk Utility, and completed a successful backup. I also had some home videos on it and was using about 40% of the drive. One day, about a week later, I had the same "disk unreadable" message and soon panicked. Tried everything, but finally spent $100 for Disk Warrior and I was able to get my videos off, but it wasn't able to fix my drive, DW said I didn't have enough memory.
I reformatted and put my videos back on, but now will use a different drive for backups, so if it fails again I only lose my backups.

Audio volume drops in FLV file after inserting into Captivate 4

The audio volume drops almost 50% in FLV files inserted into Captivate 4. Is there a solution for this problem?

That was the first thing I ever tried when I discovered the default setting for FLV and slide video (variables and advanced actions are my favorites, as you know perhaps). Perhaps I missed something, and did not try in CP 5.5 or after the latest patch on CP5.0, but this system variable seemed only to have effect on the normal audio clips, not on audio for video?

Column not set to default after insert

I have a column defaulted to 'No', when I insert into table without providing value for that column thru SQL plus, column valued to 'No'. when insert thru APEX form, column is set to null. Any advise is appreciated.

I have similar problem and question.
I have form with checkbox T/F. Checkbox has mandatory column (VALID) in underlying table with default value 'F'.
Table:
USER (firstname, lastname, valid)
If checkbox is visible on form, some value is inserted into the table.
But checkbox is conditionaly invisible for some users and when they want to insert new record APEX is generating insert statement (Automatic Row Processing (DML)) with all columns of the form and not only with visible columns.
This is generated insert:
insert into user(firstname,lastname,valid) values ('John','Baker',null) and it raises ORA-1400: cannot insert null into VALID because VALID can not be null.
Correct insert statement should be:
insert into user(firstname,lastname) values ('John','Baker') because VALID column is invisible for some users
I think that update statement do this (update only visible columns).

It is bound to a Dataset which gets it's data from a SQL Database.
Loading the Data and Filtering the data based on certain conditions work 100%. The problem I am having is as follows:
I have a form on the Page that takes input and inserts a row into the Database. When this happens, the DataGrid won't automatically reflect the changes (even if I recall the Fill Method of the Dataset). No matter what I do, I have to refresh the entire page
and THEN Fill the Dataset to see any changes.
This is what strikes me as odd...
When I do a delete row operation on the Database (Custom Method on the Dataset with conditions), and just Fill the Dataset again (without doing anything special), the row deletes and the changes is reflected IMMEDIATELY.
What am I doing wrong here? Why would Delete Row reflect the changes on the DataGrid but no Insert Row?

Swf not working after inserted into dreamweaver

I'm rather new to flash and Dreamweaver CS5. I created a media playback swf that displays pictures. It works perfectly when I view it in Flash but when I insert the swf into my website in Dreamweaver the images do not show up, the backgound and everything else show up in my preview in Dreamweaver but no images....All the images and swf files are all in the same directory, all the code looks correct to me but I cannot figure out what is wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Airport express not found (by macbook) after moving to the US

Hi,
I unplugged my perfectly working AX (v6.3) in Europe, moved to the States and now have connection problems (same Macbook Pro, same AX). ISP here is Comcast.
Symptoms: The airoprt utility (AU) doesn't see the AX (whether cable modem is plugged or unplugged to AX). Reset or factory-reset of AX doesn't solve the problem. If I restart AX and then also the computer the AU sees the AX, but can't connect (connection timeout). After this first trial to connect the Macbook will not see the AX any more until I reboot the Macbook.
I can connect the AX via ethernet and configure it using AU. I did not set a password (for test reasons), connection mode is 802.11b/g compatible, channel auto, security none.
Also did a restart of the cable modem (unplugged for 10 min) like described elsewhere in the forum. No help. Anyway, if I am correct the AU should see the AX even without the modem connected to it, right? If I plug the modem to the AX and restart the modem, the LED on the AX will go green. Still it is not detected by the Macbook.

As Duane mentions, 5 GHz signals do not travel or penetrate well because the higher frequency signals in this band are absorbed by any obstructions much more quickly than 2.4 GHz signals.
Although not exactly true, unless you have close to line-of-sight between your computer and the AirPort Express, you will probably have much better results using the 2.4 GHz signals which penetrate more effectively and work greater at longer distances.

Blurry Jpgs when displaying after insertion into project

I am running Elements 10. I have created a project with numerous video clips and pictures inserted. I cannot seem to get the pictures to display clearly no matter what format (jpg, tiff, etc) I use. The video clips seem to display ok.

PrE 10 and Windows 7 64 bit, 8GB Ram
Actually pictures range all the way up to 3136 x 2184

I own a 16GB iPhone 3G. My father passed it down to me a year ago after he got the iPhone 4. I pressed the sleep/wake button on the top of the iPhone to check the time, and as I did so, the screen flashed on and off and now the screen won't work. First, update iTunes, then connect the phone to the computer and do a restore. This will also get your iOS up to date. Your phone should operate correctly after doing this, if not, you will most likely need to have the phone serviced or replaced.

[Ecore] xsd2ecore files not readable any longer after migration to Mars

Hello,
When working in Luna, I had no problems to visualise the contents of xsd2ecore files with the Ecore to XML Mapping Editor.
Now that I've migrated to Eclipse Mars, the files do not seem readable any longer. The editor emits two errors :

Is there anything I have to do to make the editor work as before ?
I'm using the EMF XML to Ecore Mapping Editor 2.8.0.v20150601-0402.

The XML Mapping Editor isn't the same as the XSD to Ecore Model Editor.
So it sounds like you don't have the right editor/model plugins
installed. In particular, the org.eclipse.emf.mapping.xsd2ecore bundle
must be installed for any editor to recognize this model. You can
update your installation to install it from the Mars repository.

IPhoto 11 does not see thumb drive when inserted into USB Port, 9 did.

I updated from iphoto 9 to 11 and updated to OSX, Previously when a usb thumb drive was inserted iphoto would see it, now irt does not, anyone have any hints for me?

Well here's the first problem:
The drive is in MS-DOS (FAT) format (a 500Gb Lacie).
iPhoto needs to have the Library sitting on disk formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Users with the Library sitting on disks otherwise formatted regularly report issues including, but not limited to, importing, saving edits and sharing the photos. So, get the Library onto an appropriately formatted disk.
If you're thinking of reformatting that disk, remember that doing so will erase it, and so make sure you back it up first.
I would try open the Library from an appropriately formatted disk. If the issues persist them try the rebuild with Library Manager again.
