Microsoft Apps via Citrix Receiver on an iPad

Hi,
Has anyone tried access Citrix applications via the iPad? Eg. MS Word, SAP, Remote Desktop, etc.
I've tried googling this and have had conflicting reports and my local Apple Store rep said it won't work but I would love a confirmation if possible.

Sounds great. I'm woundering about citrix receiver on iPad. I'm trying same thing, but I get only the published apps to see. Starting one of those brings 'keep waiting' and the screen remains blank until it returns to the start screen.
What could probably be the problem? ...or better the solution?
by the way: I connect to a citrix farm running XenApp 5 on W2k3 and tried as well to connect to a citrix farm running XenApp 6 on W2k8 R2 - same thing.

Ipad Air unable to connect via Citrix Receiver

Hello,
Has anyone been having issues since the beginning of the week with regards to connecting via the Citrix Receiver App? I just get cannot connect, it does launch the applications briefly but then bombs out.
Tried factory reset and upgrading to 8.1 but still same issue.
Did notice Citrix updated their app on Monday.

usb is a digital serial bus it does not carry analog audio to be able to do what you wish a program would have to run on both devices and I doubt that 3th party programs can get access to the usb port in ios
your best bet is to connect the minijack audio out connector of the ios device to a minijack analog input port like line or mic in on the mac
if a such does not exist then you can get usb audio cards for the computer which would have a 3.5mm minijack line in

If the iTunes sidebar (along left side of iTunes window) is hidden, go up to the menu bar. Under View, select Show Sidebar. With the sidebar visible, does the iPod appear there under DEVICES.
Actually, if the iPod is formatted for Mac, Windows cannot read it, so I think iTunes should automatically prompt you (when you first connect it) to do a Restore, which will reformat the iPod's hard drive for Windows.
When you connect it, what do you see on the iPod's screen?
Is it connected to a USB hub, or directly to a USB port on the computer?
Is the iPod seen n Device Manager or Computer Management or other Windows utility?

at work we have linux-clients (Arch, Plasma5, updated weekly) connected to a computing center (Win 2008 Servers) via citrix-receiver. In the past, usb-storage-devices were mapped, so we could acces them in Win. Now, they are not longer mapped. I can't say, since when. USB-Sticks are not in daily use. The computing center says, nothing has been changed there. So can someone help me to fix this issue?

Citrix receiver troubles

Hi all,
Before I upgraded to Yosemite, I was able to get on GoToMeeting via Citrix receiver without difficulty. Since the upgrade I get audio problems -- volume is very low, there is a loud popping sound with incoming emails and the volume button causes a weird popping sound when pressed.
I am running Citrix receiver and noticed there is an updated version available. When I downloaded the new version and tried to install, I got a message stating that "The Installation Failed" The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact software manufacturer for assistance.
Any ideas if the troubles I'm having are due to
-hardware?
-OS?
-Citrix?
-GoToMeeting?
I'm open to any suggestions.

I am not familiar with Citrix Reciever but is it possible it is open or being used in another open app?
Try quitting all apps then try again.
Quit all apps: Double tap the Home button and swipe the app preview page up for each open app

I can't find Citrix Receiver on App store and when I down load from Citrix; the site links to App Store and I get "Your request could not be completed" - how does one load with no issues? I have an Imac Intel on Mac OS X 10.6

If Excel works as do other apps, you should be able to tap and hold on the attachment and then select "Open in Excel" in the window that will open. Note that you need to be subscribed to and signed into Office 365 to be able to edit documents in Microsoft's apps.

No, they cannot see this through Citrix. Citrix is only a 'window' for you to look into the company applications. You do not transfer info from the phone related to other activities.

I called HP Support Dec 9th and was told that the Apps servers are being upgraded and should be back online "soon". Apparently, at that time, they had been down/worked on for two days. That's now at least three days. Does anyone know when the service will be available again? After I did a reset my gps app will not receive signals from my remote G PS device. I have an iPad 2 wi-if only. The remote GPS device is pared and has a strong signal. I reinstalled my gps app, no luck.

No need to apologize, I actually found the phrase "If your iPad ever craps the bed" amusing under the circumstances
I checked the list of installed apps like you suggested (Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Show all apps) but this problem app is not in the list. I have also swiped down on the home screen to search for it, but again it does not show.
While it has not let me download the app (and I just tried it again) it has helped me to eliminate a few things from the list of what to try, and I can definitely conclude that it has not downloaded.
I guess I need to fire up my PC and download it / sync my iPad.
