Hi all, Im running into an unusual bug during my media based Win 7 32 bit light touch deployment. After the wizrad completes and it formats the drives right about the time its ready to inject the drivers i get an error
E:\Deploy\Tools\X86\Microsoft.DBB.PnPEnum.exe is not a valid win32 application
Anyone know what causes this error and how I can correct it? Thank you.

The third option, bad network card.
I had the same problem over the last few days. One particular machine just would not image. Changed power supply, hard drive memtest on the ram, nothing. Failed with a PNP error before the imaging process had begun. Tried both a win8 and win7 WDS server.
The last thing to try, was disable the onboard network and put in a bootable PCI card which luckily i had. The machine then imaged fine.
To me, it looked like a ram error, or disk error, but don't forget the network card is an integral component for getting the data INTO the ram in the first place!

then I tried to Install the Project Server and it asks for reboot befor Install
but always after being restarted the windows Server 2008 R2, the Sharepoint Central Administration doesn`t run anymore and it get the error of

what is the Problem? and How should I fix it?

1) Have you checked the requirements in the below article > Might not be in your error direction but since your are deploying it initially no harm in checking this

2) Maybe try repairing SP2013 and Project server install, it might fix if any registry issues, corrupted files cause of you project installation... it could also pop up any issues with installations too if you are lucky..

Setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application

Hi,
I have downloaded the Database trial 92021Win64_Disk1 and I unpacked the archive using WinRar. When i doubleclick on the setup file I get the following message:Setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
What am I doing wrong? I am using WindowsXP Pro. Does this archive has to be burned on a CD in order for the install to work?

Thanks for the reply. It is my mistake to assume that windows 2003 server (enterprise edition) is a 64-bit OS. May be it is some other version. Don't forget Microsoft has different versions of windows 2003 server, One of them could be a 64 bit OS. I found out, Installing Oracle 2000 server edition and applying the patch for windows 2003 server as oracle recommended will do the trick. Looks good so far (everything went fine).

It suggests the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

Error 'RecoveryMgr.exe is not a valid Win32 application' when trying to restore in Win7

I really hope someone can help as this is driving me mad!
System details - G62 Notebook running Windows 7
The notebook crashed after a Windows update and wouldn't boot up. I made it into the recovery manager and back my files before restoring to factory settings.
Since getting back in I am unable to get my files back. I have tried through the recovery manager but it does not allow me to see the files on the dvd. I have also tried through backup and restore but no joy there either. When I click on RecoverMgr.exe on the dvd I get error 'RecoveryMgr.exe is not a valid Win32 application' and it won't open.
I hope someone has managed to solve this before as I would love my files back. All suggestions greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Empty the cache files of your browser and temp directory as described here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93976
Then save the file again to another location on the computer.
If you cannot clear the cache, try to download the iTunes and quicktime setup installer from the quicktime site: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html

I tried the following but I still have problems: remove previous version of itunes, remove quicktime, install again quicktime as a standalone, delete temporary files, restart computer, delete all itunes related files.

Unable to open itunes, "itunessetup(1).exe is not a valid Win32 application

Forgive me if I'm an idiot. I bought my husband an Ipod Shuffle for Xmas. I spent hours downloading the latest itunes only to have an error message pop up at the end that itunessetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
I read another post about people having better luck with older versions of itunes and downloaded 6.0 with no problem, saved a cd on it, and then when i plugged in the Shuffle it gave me an error message that said it would only work with the newest version of itunes. The apple website recognizes that I have already downloaded the new version, but nothing will happen other than the error message. Husband is already saying I should just sell his new shuffle, and I'm feeling stupid that I can't figure it out...can anyone help please? Thank you.

THis is a common problem for people downloading itunes on dail up and/or with corrupt versions in there temp folders.
If you are on dail up, you need to first download and install whats called a "Download manager". These programs will usually make sure the download goes correctly, will start the download where it stops should the connection be lost, and can usually be set to re dail to your internet provider if the connection is lost (Handy for late nights when you goto bed and leave a big download going). Theres quite afew different ones out there usually free, Id recommend looking around on the net and get the one you feel comfortable with using.
THen you can try the download again.
Also try emptying your temp folder in your browser

It might help to clear out Internet Explorer's temporary files then try downloading the iTunes software again.

I have installed oracle 10gr2 on windows xp.
if i type sqlplus in command prompt i get this error
"C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\BIN\sqlplus.exe is not a valid win32 application".
i went to the path where sqlplus is present i observed that sqlplus.exe file was 0KB.
how can i resolve this problem. i want to upgrade oracle 9i to 10g so i need sqlplus of 10g to work properly.
please anyone help me out to solve this problem.

You'd have to find out how and why that file became 0KB in size.
If one file is 0KB in size, what assurance do you have that other files aren't
also corrupted ?
It could have been a virus-scanner wrongly attempting to quarantine the file,
it could have been a backup-restore session that copied the file back as 0KB,
it could have been some command that you executed in attempting the upgrade.
