"Microsoft componenet......"Error message

Question

Though I have posted this b4 and I havent gotten any response; here is my sitiuation again, I have OS 9.2.2 and OS X 10.2.8 on my G4 which I have pagemaker 6.5 among other packages.
The pagemaker 6.5 crashed and I saw this error message while trying to reinstall:
The application (null) has unexpectedly quit
Microsoft component library
GetRegQueryClassCallback(-2624)
Pls could anybody help me out.

If this runs for a month that seems encouraging and
it may be important to know how exact is "a month"
please? If that's very rough, forget it but if it
happens at the same time, same day each month that's
very suspcious, yes?
Here the Month is just a rough estimate
However, if Pagemaker runs for weeks then crashes and
reinstalling both the application and OS 9 makes no
difference, then the problem is more likely with the
X system...
Yeah reinstalling both the classic and the application makes no difference, but I dont know whether I do miss something along the way; here is how i do it
Trash the application, empty the trash, restart, reinstall classic from my X CD and then reinstall the application from CD
Exactly how does Pagemaker crash, while doing what
please? For instance, one of my printers will run
happily for weeks in both Classic and X but after
weeks, it simply won't be available. After
reinstalling 9 drivers and OS 9 with no effect, I
discovered that the X prefs for that printer were
corrupt; now Trashing them and restarting revives it
every time…
It does'nt crash suddenly, but starts with a sign. The sign comes this way, it will run smoothly for some couple days and stops printing till after restart. Few days afterwards it wont print or open new publication even after restart
If you "can not print and open a new page" this might
be similar... If you can find Preferences for your
particular printer in (main
disk)>Library>Printers>(maker's name)… does Trashing
them and Restarting make any difference?
I havent tried trashing the prefs for my printer. will try that when next it crashes
If this is an X problem and your Mac is old enough to
boot in pure OS 9 yes, that should get round it while
you're in 9…
If your Mac is old enough, you should be able to boot
once in pure OS 9 by Restarting with the Option key
down or by inserting a 9 install CD and Restarting
with "C" held down, or make 9 the default by changing
the setting in System Preferences>Startup Disk.>
My Mac is G4, when I checked the system pref>startup disk could'nt see the option of booting from 9 & dont have any 9 CD, my classic is in X CD. Is there anyway i can do it?
In pure 9 you can turn off Extensions either through
Control Panels>Extensions Manager or more simply by
holding down Caps Shift at Startup.
In Classic 9, turn off Extensions either from System
Preferences>Classic or by holding down Caps Shift at
Classic launch.
On checking preferences>classic it shows extension off
