Microsoft Exchange: Iphone inbox empties when messages are loaded onto PC

I've got an IPhone 3Gs with the latest OS, and have successfully sync'ed with my Microsoft Exchange Server. When new emails arrive in my account, they are shown on my IPhone. Sounds good, right?
It would be perfect except for the (feature?) fact that as soon as I turn on my computer and open Outlook (thus syncing my computer with the same Exchange Server), the Inbox on my IPhone empties completely. The emails in Outlook that I've read on the IPhone are still marked as unread, and (biggest problem) the IPhone no longer has any mails in the inbox.
Is this issue known?
Okay, I found the answer to my own question, problem solved!
for those of you with similar symptoms: my Outlook was set up to use POP/IMAP communication with the exchange server instead of 'Exchange', so everytime it sync'ed, it would remove the emails from the Exchange server, which is why they were removed from my IPhone.
It was a configuration issue on Outlook, not on the IPhone.

My Ipone is not sending text messages. i can recieve the messages, but my replies are not being sent.. this seems to only be an issue to sendin to other iphones. Welcome to the Verizon family, ivpacks! I regret to learn that your alarms didn't work. I also regret that there is a problem with the messages. Have you tried the alarm again? Does it still not work? For instance, just set the alarm for a couple of minutes away to ensure that the alarm goes off.
When you send a text, do you get an error? If you power the phone off/on, do the messages send? This particular issue is expecting a software update to resolve the issue with texts and picture messages.
I believe that you have chosen a great device, but keep in mind that there is a 14 day exchange period. If you exchange for the same make/model, you will not pay the restocking fee.
If you do exchange for a different make/model, there is a $35.00 restocking fee.

Noticed at about noon that no emails had been received all day. Began to investigate and found that the MS Exchange Transport service had been set to deny email submission because it was using too much memory on the server (91%).
The error message makes me think that we may have been getting used by malware or something similar.“The Microsoft Exchange Transport service is rejecting message submissions because the service continues to consume more memory than the
configured threshold.”
There are also several warning messages that list particular IP addresses and say that a connection from that IP was denied because there were already the maximum number of connections (20).
From what I can tell, all of the IP addresses are from Taiwan.
The time period for which some emails may be missing is from close of business yesterday ( 4/3/2014) through about 12:45 today (4/4/2014).
From the time I spent reading and trying to figure out the error, I think we may need to readjust our throttling policies to prevent this from happening.
The exchange server is currently running at 90%+ CPU and 50%+ memory usage the majority of the time, and I’m not sure how to fix it.
Also, I cannot get into EMS I get a access denied message from the destination computer. (Exchange server) I want to get into there to change the throttling policy back to default, since we disabled it.
The Error reads:
The WinRM client cannot process the request. The WinRM client tried to use Kerberos authentication mechanism, but the destination computer <Exchange> returned an 'access denied' error. Change the configuration to allow Kerberos authentication
mechanism to be used or specify one of the authentication mechanism supported by the server. (How do I do this?) To use Kerberos, specify the local computer name as the remote destination. (I'm trying to use EMS while logged into the local Exchange server)

I assumed control of this exchange system already in place and I do not have much experience with exchange 2013 or server 2012. I do know 2008, but that doesn't help very much in this situation.
Recent changes to the system:
About three days ago we switch our sessions policy to allow many more connections, and I believe this caused the issue. This is what I changed it to:
Made the registry DWORD (32-bit) "Maximum Allowed Sessions Per User" and modified the value to 1000. Location of registry change @ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\ParametersSystem
I just changed it to 10 from the 1000. I'm hoping this solves this. So far no.

Yes, could be hardware performance issue. Try recycle the Transport process and see if the issue persists.

how do i disable iMessage from my mac, i have looked at other comments and there is no option to disable it when messages are open
Solution may be found if you search in the "More Like This" section over in the right column.

After downloading IOS 8.0.2 on my iPhone 5, my email messages are not coming through automatically. Before, my email messages would come through automatically and my iPhone would alert me each time an emial message was recevied. I now have to open my mail in-box and wait for my email messages to download. Do I need to reset or change my mail settings? This issue is delaying my abiliy to receive and respond to email messages in a timely manner.

JesseHi Chris. Thanks, for the suggestions re: my email issues. They were helpful and yes I did check all items you referenced. I even contacted Apple support and spent about 40 minutes on phone checking all settings. However, after all these efforts, my mail and calendar issues were not resolved. Apple Support finally recommended deleting the mail account and then reloading it - and it worked! I am now receiving my emails and calendar appts. in real time again.
Just wanted to share this in case anyone elest has a similar problem with mail/calendar after downloaing i.O.S. 8.1 onto iPhone 5.

Whenever I send a text from my iphone 5 my text messages are appearing on other apple devices in the household. ie Iphone 4 and Ipod.
How do I stop this occurring.You'll have to deselect your phone number on the other devices in Settings/Messages/Receive at/

I can load a CD on to my PC - iTunes but when I sync with my iPhone 5s the CD does not load onto my iPhone 5S.
Help!You can sort your library by adding a Sorting info in the File Info. Select a file in iTunes U, press cmd + i, choose Sorting Tab. For example add a Sort Name. For each file you have to put a value into that field, I did it with 01, 02, 03 .. 12. I do not know if this works if you select multiple files, but I did not try.
The next time you sync your device, your files will be in order. It' ve tested it on an iPad2.
If you ask me, there must be a better solution for that problem as the files have a track number saved in the info as well, and it is quite annoying to add the sorting order manually. -

Messages Inbox empty when its not
I have been using PC Suite (6.84.10.4) for ages and suddenly I now find that my inbox will not display the messages in my inbox on my phone (a 6680).
The Explorer window opens, the "Updating..." pop up appears showing that the messages are being downloaded but nothing then displays in the right hand window.
If I right click in the window and select View>List, then the messages appear as items but without the details of who sent and when :-(
So the messages are being loaded onto the PC but for some reason, PC Suite can't now display them inthe Detail view.
The other folders work fine.
Does anybody have any suggestions?

Updated the lastest apple software to my macbook pro and now I can no longer read my emails from my microsoft exchange email. The email arrives in my inbox and you can open it -- but when you try and read the content -- it says loading..... but never loads. It worked fine this weekend -- but after I udpate the last apple software update it stopped working. I can read the emails fine on my iphone (same email account) but not on my macbook pro.
I called Apple and they could not figure out a solution to the problem -- is anyone else having this trouble?Concisely:

I deleted some of my text message histories to get rid of 'other' space (6.33 gb). They were gone from iMessage, but they still showed up in search, so they were still taking up space on my phone. I synced my iPhone (4s) with iTunes but the messages are still there. How can I get rid of these texts for good and have more space on my phone? 6.33 gb of other space is way too much, thats almost half of my overall available space (13.5 gb.) I don't want to reset my phone and lose all my other texts/ app progress/ photos. I do have backups, but when I restore from the backup the other space comes back along with everything else. What can I do to get rid of this other space and the 'deleted' text messages? (I'm running iOS 6.1.3 if that helps)
But once again, I do not want to lose my other texts, app progress, and photos. I could sync the photos but i would still lose the app progress and texts. I would only restore if it was the only option left, but the other space, as already stated, isnt the main concern. The main concern is those 'deleted' texts. If they go, then a good size chunk of the other space goes. I know you CAN delete texts for good. It worked fine before. All i want to know is why its not working for me now, and how to fix it.
I also know that when you delete texts on your iphone, they get marked for deletion, however they stay on your device (thats why they show up when you search for them.) then when you sync your device with itunes, the texts marked for deletion should disappear. When i synced they didnt disappear. Thats what i need an explanation/solution for. Why the texts marked for deletion didnt get fully deleted after the sync. -
Question about iMessage retrieval when messages are visible with "Search" feature
Hello everyone,
Today when I got off of work, I noticed that over 1,000 iMessages from my girlfriend had been deleted, dating as far back as when I purchased my iPhone 4 in June. Of course, I am in the process of freaking out, as we had some great conversations in there that I would like to save. The last time I backed up my iPhone was in September.
The thing is, when I search for her name with the iPhone "Search" function, all of those conversations appear as if they should be in the iMessage list, but they are not. Is there anyway for me to exploit this and restore these iMessages onto my phone?
I'm an Air Force pilot in Texas and don't get to see her much, so I would love to be able to save these messages. I also went to school for electrical engineering, and I'm stumped.
tl;dr iMessages accidentally deleted but still appear in the iPhone "Search" function - is there anyway to restore them?Unfortunately, not that I'm aware of. The cached data you are seeing in Spotlight search is separate from the messages data on your phone, and you can't restore from one to the other.
Messages are, however, included in the iPhone backup (whether done with iTunes or iCloud). If these messages were on your phone when you last backed up, restoring to the entire backup should recover them.

Import/copy music from Itunes to imovie doesn't work
