Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 and 11 not working

Hi Team,
Iam currently using windows 7 64-bit operating system and we require internet explorer 10 and 11 for our regular project usage.
When I have upgraded the version of IE from 9 to 10 or 11 its not responding and not showing in processes tab of task manager as well.
Request you to share your valuable thoughts in fixing this issue

Does the behavior persist after Resetting Internet Explorer, followed by a reboot? See

I can no longer send or respond to email from my Firefox browser. I closed and sent from Internet explorer and it works fine. What changed? The only thing different this morning, I downloaded Adobe uprade?

I had this hotmail issue myself a while back. I Googled, scanned MS website, scanned MSN website, visited forums, couldn't figure it out. I tried Firefox and Opera and even changed the Opera mask setting from Opera to Internet Explorer. Nothing worked. My best guess was that I was signing on (with the new MSN Live as opposed to MSN Hotmail - the OLD interface) with the "Remember me on this computer?" box checked. I now make sure it is un-checked (which is not the default) and hotmail lets me in.
Not exactly sure if that is the real remedy, but thot I'd throw the story your way just in case...

  • Some tables show up in Internet Explorer and not on Modzilla

I just noticed that some of the cats on the Our Cats page of my website,
www.freedomfarm.net, show up on Internet Explorer, but not on Modzilla FireFox.  They are actually listed as a table on the page with a picture and text.   I will confess that I cheated.  I copied the table code from another website that I liked.  But since it works on IE and some of them work on Modzilla, I don't think that is the problem...could be wrong though.   If anyone has any ideas what might be causing this, I sure would appreciate the help.  Thanks!

There is obviously an inbalance with your 'comment' tags <!--------------------->. Go into your pages code and delete everyone before and after the <hr> tags and the missing cats will appear. I don' t have time to figure out exactly which are casuing the issue, anyway other than mark the end and beginning of a section which the <hr> tag already does for you they are'nt required.

    Hello Antoney805:
That is easy you have the same Internet Explorer as I do. Left click on the lock washer icon then select Internet Options. When window opens click on advance tab then click on Reset and then ok. You are all set now. It should restore the Internet Explorer to orginal settings.  If that doesn't work for some unknown reason go to your control pannel some where you should be able to unstall programs on your computer.  Internet Explorer is an update so you want to look for it in  update section not programs list.  Un install and down load a nother copy. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/search#q=internet+explorer   You have to unistall the corrupted one first. Other wise the down load page will say you have the latest version installed. frrw.

  • Internet Explorer preview not working correctly.

    Hi,
Well my problems seem to be mounting up, my website is loading completely fine in Chrome and Firefox, but in Internet Explorer it doesn't want to load properly. It seems that only the text is loading, leaving me to believe that the css files, style.css and style-desktop.css files are Not working in Internet Explorer.
I have already tried running a browser compatibility test, but it comes up with no errors.
    Thanks.

  • Internet explorer 11 not working in app mode

    Hi,
I have a Lenovo desktop computer with Windows 8.1. IE 11 worked perfectly well in both app and desktop modes but since 2-3 weeks my IE doesn't open in app mode. I think it might be linked to the update following the IE security problem.
I tried to make the change described in a previous post, namely:
Click the tools button in IE 11(IE 11 on the desktop), choose Internet
options, navigate toprograms tab, on the opening
Internet explorer, choose how you open links:
Make sure we have always in Internet explorer or Let
    Internet Explorer decide selected.
BUT in my case the tools/internet option/programs tab doesn't allow me to change this parameter... it's blocked on "always in internet explorer on the desktop" mode....
it doesn't allow me to select anything else...
Is there a solution to this ? please advise.
    Thanks

blocked on "always in internet explorer on the desktop" mode....
Sounds like you may have installed another browser which has set itself to be the default?   In order to use MUF IE, IE insists that it be the default browser.

  • Why does the BlueCross/BlueShield of Massachusetts website function on Internet explorer and NOT on Firefox?

The necessary items on some of the BC/BS drop down menus do not appear when using Firefox. I had to open that same provider website in Internet Explorer in order to enter claims correctly. Not sure how a web browser alters content and functionality of websites.

This is likely because the website is using ActiveX, which is only supported by Internet Explorer (it's very insecure, which is why no other browser supports it).
    You can try:
    * [[Websites look wrong or appear differently than they should]]
    * If that fails, contact the webmaster.

  • E-mail weblinks go to internet explorer and not Firefox, how can I change this

My internet explorer with Windows 7 freezes sometimes when I open an e-mail internet link in Office 2007. I would like to set up the mail to go directly to Firefox. I tried to disable internet explorer to no avail.

Is it Yahoo mail? Another user reported this about an hour ago. Can you try the suggestions I made over here: [https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1004787 Yahoo mail not working in Firefox(latest version); IS working IE. Started today June 5].

  • When sharing a link from Firefox, the program automatically opens Internet Explorer and not Thunderbird. Can Thunderbird be made the default for sharing links from Firefox?

When sharing a link or page via email, either the webpage or Firefox will open up Internet Explorer to share the link or page. As I use Thunderbird for emailing, could Firefox open Thunderbird automatically instead of internet Explorer?

From Firefox, I click on "File' and then 'Email link'.
This results in a new Outlook message opening automatically, with the URL copied into the body of the message.
I then add my own text, see the screenshot image. That's where the formatting problems come in!

  • Google chrome & Internet explorer is not working in my windows 7 professional "

    Hi  Team
I m facing the issue that , when i sent any screenshot from my gmail account using google chrome & IE , it display that not responding & close the program" as i have clean format my windows 7 & after that still issue is same please help
    me

    Hi,
Have you tried other mail account? Have you tried a email program or App instead of webmail in a browser? Maybe your newly installed applications or other recent changes cause this issue. undo these changes if possible as a test?  clear, or just test
this issue in a clean boot mode, if it disappears, then we can continue to narrow down the cause.

Meanwhile, clear browser history, disable add-ons (IE), test again.
And could you please describe more about "sent any screenshot from my gmail account using google chrome & IE"?

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music'  then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

    I don't have a solution fou you, just a few ideas =)
You can check what headers response contains with
    response.containsHeader( "your_header_here");
    http://java.sun.com/j2ee/sdk_1.2.1/techdocs/api/javax/servlet/http/HttpServletResponse.html#containsHeader(java.lang.String)
after that you could set/overwrite those headers that you don't like with, for example:
    response.setHeader("Cache-control", "no-cache,max-age=0,must-revalidate");
Aparently Pragma and Cache-control headers should be used in pair, as noted here
    http://curl.haxx.se/mail/archive-2005-12/0003.html
quote:"The author of Bad Behavior points out that RFC2616 requires that a
Pragma: header to be accompanied by a Cache-Control: header. From what I
see, it only says "SHOULD" (in section 14.32), but that is still a
strong recommendation and something to be considered, IMHO."
I'm a bit sceptical about you needing to cache the file, but if you feel strong about it, you could read this
    http://www.mnot.net/cache_docs/#META
If you're working on SSL there is supposed to be some kind of validation, certificate or something like that. IE6 and 7 both have strong security measures in these regards. Maybe you should look something up in that direction.
    Hope I helped.

Also There is no way I can check the settings or get to safe mode as it just hangs. Several other people have been having the same problem with it.
