Microsoft ISATAP and 6to4-Adapter yellow triangles in device manager

Hello,
we´ve disabled IPv6 via Registry. Now we noticed that the ISATAP and 6to4-Adapter have yellow triangles in device manager. My question is: is that normal behavior, when disabling IPv6? Can we remove this adapters without no issues? Or schould we install
drives (which)?

Hi,
This adapter is used to transfer IPv6 site to IPv4 site, if you disable IPv6, this adapter is useless.
You can directly delete is if you don't need it anymore.

Missing Camera, P2 cards and that irksome yellow triangle

Hello all! I'm an intermediate FCP X user and I'm running into an issue I have never before experienced. I was hoping you could help!
Here's the breakdown:
I am editing an hour long special for TV on FCPX 10.1.3. There is approx 10 hours of footage from multiple days and multiple cameras. All of my media comes from P2 cards.
All media has been imported from the same location. 90% of media is available and just fine every time I open the library. But that troublesome 10% continually goes offline. I also get the yellow triangle in 2 events, even though it shows nothing is offline.
With that 10%, I don't get the "Missing Media File" error...I get the "Missing Camera" error. I read on here that P2 cards are often treated as cameras, but I don't understand why most files work and a handful do not. Most everything I've imported has been copied to my FCP Original Media folder. Even when those files go offline, I can see many clips have been copied to that Original Media folder. These clips also have a camera icon in the lower left. I haven't been able to figure out any rhyme or reason as to why these particular files continue to go offline.
Also, I directly imported the P2 files from the FCPX import function; unfortunately, in Finder, these aren't simply .mov clips. Instead, they create several folders that in FCP 7 would be logged and transferred.
And the oddest part of all: if I go to re-import clips (instead of re-linking, because those "camera" clips won't let me) I don't even actually re-import. I just click the raw video folder in the import window, where they're located, and it all returns to normal.
As far as trouble shooting, I have:
-deleted the troublesome events and reimported from the same location as I previously did.
-double checked files and made sure they're in the Original Media folders.
-re-linked/re-imported whatever I can, just can't get them to stay online when I re-open the project.
So, yeah...that's pretty convoluted, I know. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? Any and all suggestions/advice would be extremely helpful!

Update: I deleted render files, created new event and copied clips over. This solved the problem for two events that contained only clips. But I have one event that contains all my projects...each project is 100% online...but still the yellow triangle. Any thoughts?

1394 net adapter not working in device manager

I,m running the KT4 Ultra with fire wire on board with XP prof. Every thing is working fine except in device manager I have two listings for the 1394 net adapter.The first has the yellow explantion mark, Code ten."this device won't start. And the second is working but listed as 1394 net adapter #2. On the adapter it has two bhig ports and one small port.I quess the small port is for cam corders. Can I disablr the first 1394 in device manager and just keep the second one. I don't have and fire wire cables so I don't know if the adapter is working on all ports. Thanks Bruce

Take adapter out and see if it has bent pins, as this might bre causing the issue. If all fine, get it bnack into the slot for it and take motherboard out of the case and test on non conductive material (motherboard box is ok, NOT Anti conductive bag). Also >>Posting Guide<<, and you could also try second BIOS (little switch, flip it when PC is OFF)

K8T Neo FIS2R "1394 Net Adapter" in XP's Device Manager

I can't get my firewire port to work or recognize devices attached to it!
I just built a system with the K8T Neo FIS2R and an Athlon 64 3400+ running at stock speeds. It also has GeiL Golden Dragon (matched pair) PC-3200 DDR which is running 1 trcd increment higher than rated to ensure stability. I have a lot of devices installed and have reinstalled windows fresh twice now with the same problem.
In device manager, the "VIA OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller" seems to be fine, but in the "Network adapters" category, I see my D-Link Wireless NIC (fine) and "1394 Net Adapter" with a big yellow exclamation mark next to it.
This computer is for a music studio and I absolutely have to use the firewire port because DigiDesign's Digi002 needs to be attached to the computer and communicating properly in order for ProTools 6.1 (our main studio software) to install and run.
I also have the BIOS set to enable the on-board sound, but I also have a pro-audio card installed (the M-audio Delta 1010) and the computer doesn't even see the on-board sound device whether enabled or disabled, when the M-audio card is installed (but this isn't my main concern, getting the firewire working is).

Xpower ac adapter not showing in device manager

this is my third board and have just reassembled this board yet again trying to get the Bluetooth/wifi adapter to work yet again.
The adapter is not showing in board explorer or device manager. I have reseated this numerous times and have tried a different adapter with zero luck. I sthere a bios setting to enable this? I am currently using bios 1.5.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Report on Yellow Bang in Device Manager

Is there a query or report I can use in ConfigMgr 2007 that will list all systems with a Yellow Bang (or UNKNOWN device) in Device Manager? Is that collected as part of Hardware Inventory?

I don't remember if this class is collected by hardware inventory by default or not but it would be easy to add and then create queries and/or reports from the collected data.

in device manager - other devices - pci device is with yellow mark os:windows 8.1 , laptop B5070 series .
in PCI events tab mesage is:

pls. suggest how remove yellow mark, suggest or provide link to get compatable driver.

HP Pavilion dv6-3043ee Realtek Network Adapter not found in Device Manager

Hi I own an HP Pavilion dv6-3043ee, 64bit and running Windows 7. And somehow the network adapter for the LAN got uninstalled for some reason. Now after posting something on the site I finally downloaded the driver for my laptop.
Now another problem, after or at the end of the installation process a pop up message was shown:
"The Realtek Network Controller was not found,
If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable."
Now I checked Device Manager to see if the Realtek Network Adapter was there but it wasn't. All I can see are:
-Atheros AR9285 802.11b/g/n Wifi Adapter
-Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network)
-Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocl TDI)
-TAP-Windows Adapter V9

If device is identified but there is no driver for it, it will be appeared as unknown device in Device Manager with question mark icon (?), are you seeing such thing in device manager?
If not, you should refer to your PC manufacturer's website and download.
Make sure report this issue using Feedback App.

Sound issue in WXP - one yellow ! in device manager on Equium

When installing the sound drivers it finds a modem on hih def audio, then when you reboot it throws up an error message. I rolled back the driver but still need to solve the sound problem, in device manager I have one yellow, other device, PCI device.
The sound drivers appear to be there and working, the drivers are Legacy is this right? Looks like a conflit somewhere. I dropped Vista after network problems now XP has sound problems.
Any Ideas please

Ive checked your other postings created here in the forum and it seems you are a owner of Equium A100-027 PSAAQE series.
Am I right??
First of all I would like to clarify some things.
Mostly the yellow exclamation marks appear in the device manager because something could went wrong during the driver installation procedure or you used simply a wrong drivers.
I think you should firstly find out if you used right drivers!
Please go to the Toshiba driver page and check again the driver versions and download it again.
Ive noticed that many users download the wrong drivers and try to install it.
On the Toshiba page you will find also the installation instruction. There are 2 txt files available.
One for XP and one for Vista.
Please be sure that you use the right installation instruction for the right OS.
Then download all drivers and follow the installation order mentioned in the txt file!
Usually everything should run ok and you should be able to install all drivers!

Just boot camped mid-2012 MBP using Apple's BootCamp 5.1.5621. However, no wireless adapter is listed in device manager

[In Windows 8.1] When I access the Device Manager, it does not list my wireless adapter as one of the devices available. I have attempted to manually install the drivers from the BootCamp 5.1.5621 file.
I've spent several hours attempting to remedy this but have only found threads explaining how to solve the problem if the 802 adapter is already listed in the device manager.

I recently had some BT issue's in Win8 so I wrote a topic about this subject. Maybe you need to replace the Broadcom drivers as well.

15-g092sa - yellow sign in device manager for "PCI Device" (win7x64). Missing chipset drivers

Hi, I just installed Win7 64 Pro - very happy with the machine, it's all crisp and light.
My device maneger reports a missing driver for PCI Device. I can't tell what's missing exactly, the laptop works fine.
I noticed the chipset driver was missing for Win7. For win8.1 it was an Intel driver (?!?, The laptop is an AMD A8).
Was wondering if you can pitch in some info about what is missing and how do I install it.

On the front of this laptop is a switch for wireless - this switch is set to On, Windows XP Pro cannot find any wireless device - Windows Device Manager does not show any wireless adater. Can you advice please - do I need to install Driver - Does this laptop support a wireless conection?

Usually if you have a wireless switch your notebook should have a wireless LAN card too. In your case I would try installing the driver. Then the WLAn card should be displayed in device manager properly:

If this doesnt work you can try a BIOS update.
Are you running factory settings or have you installed your own Windows version?

You can safely ignore this error message. This error message does not indicate a problem with the adapter. The adapter will continue to work correctly.

Yellow triangle and a grayed out movie clip

Hi, I created a project in iMovie 08, kind of elaborate for me, with several movie clips, each with a transition, and background music from iTunes through out the majority of the 3 minute and 30 second final project. Initially, all was well and the project played perfectly. A couple of days later when I went into iMovie 08 to enhance the project, several clips were grayed out and had a yellow triangle in the clip. Placing the cursor over the clip resulted in the clip "coming to life" that is revealing the clip but the clip was not visible in the browser and the grayed out clips were not visible if I played the project in full screen mode. If I published the project to the web, the grayed out clips would not show (the video portion); the audio which was part of the whole project would play. I do not think I moved any clips to a different location although I certainly added other clips to iPhoto and then to iMovie. I just finished the lynda.com training on iMovie 08 which was just released and I got no help from that training on the yellow triangle problem. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

Great news! After some browsing around, I located the problem, and now my movie project is fixed!
As it turns out, videos that are located in iPhoto are referenced based on the Event that they belong to, which means that if you change the name of the Event that the picture belongs to then iMovie will no longer be able to find your picture. (This is also why the clips appear in the lower section of iMovie, because they are still there, just in a renamed or merged event.)
I was able to fix the problem very easily by renaming my event back to the original name, and then after closing and restarting iMovie all the nasty little yellow triangles were gone and all my clips were back as if they'd never left.
This may or may not help, but for me, to make sure that I got the event name correct, I found the movie file (which was in "Movies/iMovie Projects") and then right mouse clicked and selected "Show Package Contents" so that I could see what was in my project, and then opened the "Project" file, which had the names listed in it. Hope that helps!
