Access 2007: How can I use a vertical scroll bar (such as Microsoft Forms 2.0 ScrollBar) to scroll up and down 2 unbound textboxes?
I have 2 unbound textboxes on my form and I can have my vertical scroll bar when I modify the scroll bar propertity. However, I need to have one common shared scroll bar to control those 2 textboxes at the same time.
The need is when I scroll up and down the common shared scroll bar the content in these 2 textboxes will be moving up and down at the same time.
Does any of you know how to do that? Thanks.
Since you say that your purpose is to visually compare the text box contents, I wonder if you've considered the possibility that the text boxes might not be synchronizable via scrolling at all, due to differences in the number of lines in the text boxes.
After all, the mapping of the scroll bar's "thumb" to a position in the control is based on the number of lines in the control.  If one of your text boxes has, say, 2 lines in it, and the other has 100, then scrolling the first text box one
unit might scroll the second text box all the way to the end.  Or, if scrolling the first text box to the bottom only moves the second text box down by a line, then you'd be unable to scroll that second text box to the bottom. How would you want the text
boxes and scroll bar to behave when one text box has more lines than the other?

    Hi Rangnath,
For running SharePoint Designer 2013, you need to install Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework or higher.
Please uninstall the Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework, and install it again. After that, reboot your machine.

There has never been a Mac version of Access. Microsoft never created one, realising that it was very inferior to the FileMaker Pro database application.
So if you must run Access you will have to run Windows on your mac.

  • Does anyone have any problems with Microsoft Messenger

    Hi everybody
My Microsoft messenger was fine till about two weeks later. It keeps signing out all the time and its a real nuisance. Does anyone else have this problem, why is it doing it
Anybody no any alternatives, where you can still have all your msn buddies on it.
    Thanks guys

Since Messenger is not an Apple product, you should probably post your question on Microsoft's own forums for the Mac products:

  • Microsoft Messenger won't connect anymore?

I've been using microsoft messenger for 9 months now perfectly fine, but today when I got home it says "im not connected to the internet or msn is busy and can't connect." I tried getting on my ipod and even that couldn't log on. I went and got my PC and tried using msn and it wouldn't long on there either. I had another friend log me on her computer and it said the same thing. What's wrong with my connection? I am connection to the internet just fine and same with ichat. It's only microsoft messenger that won't work. I tried uninstalled/reinstalling. I tried rebooting my computer. Idk what to do anymore. Please explain thouroughly if you have a solution, because I don't know much about mac settings. Thanks.

    Welcome to Discussions, itakeitwell
This method of rebooting the modem and router works for me when I have connection trouble:
    (1) Power everything down.
    (2) Restart your modem, router and / or wireless access point (if you have them), and then your Mac in that order. Let the self test on each device complete before restarting the next.
If you still have trouble after rebooting your system, contact your ISP and have them check your service.

  • Microsoft Messenger 5.1.1

    Greetings!
I have recently upgraded to Microsoft Messenger 5.1.1. Now I receive invalid user name and password. Although I can access my email through another passport associated site. I have uninstalled and reinstalled messenger and search ALL msn files and deleted them. I am still unable to log into Messenger. I have also deleted Adium, as I thought the profile cached in Adium would cause this.
Do you think a Pram zap would fix this????
I installed Office 2004 a couple of months ago, but the previous version of Messenger ran fine.
If you have any suggestions as to why this is occuring, it would be much appreciated!
    Thanks

    hello
i'm wondering if you ever fixed this problem, as i have a similar one now too.
i've been using the messenger fine for about 5-6 months, then i changed my internet provider, and now i can't get it to run fully. it acts like everything is normal, but it's saying i'm putting in the wrong password or something, but i'm not. i deleted ALL the files, and re-downloaded the newest version, and did that like 3 times, and still it doesn't work.
I heard that there can sometimes be blockers, like a firewall or something. For now i just use msn web messenger, which seems to work okay, but not as good as the downloaded version. any tips or advice would be great! i hope you solved your problem.

  • Selecting Profile Picture for Microsoft Messenger

I have imported all of my pictures into iPhoto '09. I can see them there.
In Microsoft Messenger I want to select one of the photos for my profile. When I click the "+" to bring up the mini finder window, it takes me to the Pictures folder. In there I see the iPhoto Library but it is "grey" and there is no arrow to expand to see the pictures etc. Is there something that I need to do to make the pictures available in iPhoto?
    Thanks for the help!

Read Terence Devlin's treatise on file access for use outside of iPhoto. It will tell you how to do what you want to do.

  • Delay in Share access locally on windows 2008 r2

    HI All,
Have been facing with an issue in which shares hosted on one of my server sometimes take a long time to open in explorer even if tried by IP/hostname/Fqdn..sometimes the lag is for more than 40sec ..It happens rarely once or twice in a month but causes issues
with our processes..During the issue the delay in share access occurs from diff servers including locally on the server..tried from win xp/win7/windows 2003/windows 2012.
Some options were opted like disabling RSS,checksum,TCP/Ip offload ,firewall disabled,SMB patch
    but in vain.
Has anyone encountered such issues. Please let me know if anyone has any fix for the issue.

    Hi,
Since the issue also occurred locally, you could try the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
    1. Check the hard drive containing the folder that is causing the slow downs.
    2. Check the folder optimization preference to see if the automatic optimization got it right.
    3. Disable indexing temporarily to see if it resolves the slow folder issues.
For more detailed information, please refer to the article below. The article applys to Windows 7, but you can also try the troublshoot steps on Windows Server 2008 R2.

  • Your account does not have access to the forums system.

Greetings, My name is Jeff, I'm from Netwrix Corporation, which is a Microsoft partner. I have a problem with accessing Microsoft TechNet forum. After signing-in to my account: [email protected], I go to TechNet
forum, and get a message that:  "Your account does not have access to the forums system." And also I've noticed that all my posts were deleted from TechNet forums. Can moderators tell me why did that happen? Why didn't I receive any warning
    about my account suspension?
I've already submitted 2 tickets to MSDN Site Feedback Inquiry but didn't receive any answer.
I've called Microsoft TechNet at 800-344-2121 and Professional
Support team at 1-800-936-5800.  But everybody send me to the MSDN Site Feedback Inquiry from which I didn't get any answer.
Anybody can help me with my problem?

    Hi,
Is this the profile you're referencing?
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Profile/netwrix
It doesn't appear to be banned, but you're definitely right about there being no activity listed.
I'd suggest contacting the forums team directly by sending an email to fissues (at) microsoft [dot] com. The admins do monitor this forum, so you'll probably get a response here as well.

If when you go to icloud.com and sign in with your current iCloud ID you see all your iCloud data there, you can safely sign out of the iCloud account on your Mac and choose Delete at all the prompts, then sign back in with the current ID.  This only deletes the data from your Mac, not from iCloud.  Your iCloud data will reappear on your Mac when you sign back in after a brief delay as it redownloads.  If you have automatically imported your photo stream photos to your iPhoto library you won't lose them either (if you haven't, save them to your library first).
Again, only do this if when you go to icloud.com with your current ID you see your iCloud data there.

    Hi Mali,
According to your description, my understanding is that users cannot access the SharePoint site if SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure is enabled.
If I misunderstood please feel free to correct me.
I recommend use PowerShell to activate the feature in SharePoint 2013 to see if the issue still occurs.

Thanks lllaass, but I am not computer literate and do not understand exactly what it is I am supposed to do.  All of my photos were stored on Microsoft Windows Live Photo Gallery.  When I now access the gallery the only thing that is there are the folders with the title of the folders.  The pictures that were in those folders are now gone. I can no longer access them on my IPOD either.  My photo library on my IPOD is now empty.
    Thanks again for your help.
