Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center - Silent Installation option?

Hello!
We are working towards a deployment of Windows 7 Enterprise via SCCM 2012. Part of our desktop hardware is a Microsoft Wireless Desktop 800 (mouse and keyboard). I noticed that the Mouse and Keyboard Center was released last week and decided to test
this rather than going with an Intellipoint\type install.
We confirmed that mouse and keyboard center work fine, and are happy for this to be included in our OSD. However, we cannot determine a method to silently install the application. We have tested running the setup executable with /? and /s switches, we have
extracted the content of the executable and tried the same. We also found what appeared to be the installation msi file but this will not execute standalone.
We have 200 desktops to deploy and having the mouse and keyboard center deploy silently during our build would be great. If there is no way around having to accept the EULA, then we may have to consider reverting to intelli-type\point.
Any advice appreciated!

Wireless mouse and keyboard lag. running no programs.

hello. im having issues with my brand new Microsoft 2000 mouse and keyboard. iam running a brand new week old hp pavilion desktop computer with windows 8.1. i have tried updating drivers and ive tried unplugging and plugging the receiver back in and nothing
seems to help. i have performed multiple scans of my computer with my anti virus and there is no infections detected. The computer had this problem right out of the box.

How to fix the mouse and keyboard freezing when installing Windows 7 on 27' iMac late 2013?

Hi, I have a question for u guys who can solve this.
I recently bought the new 27' iMac late 2013, and I installed some softwares and used it for few days.
Before I bought this I used the 15' Macbook Pro Retina, I installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, and I used the Windows for gaming.
So back to my question.
So I bought the new iMac and I was tying to install Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit (with the same CD).
After dividing the partition, and other stuff, the iMac rebooted and I hold down the option (alt) key. I choose the Windows CD, and it said it is "getting ready to install Windows". I let it load, and the blue screen where you choose the language, time/location and keyboard input popped up. At the bottom right corner (at the same page), there is a button that said "Next (N)" which u need to click it to go to the next step. I was moving my mouse to click the button, but I realized that my mouse and keyboard was frozen. I tried both wireless and wired mouse and keyboard but they didn't work. There was nothing I could do. I hold the power button, (that was the only option) and tried my mouse and keyboard on Mac OS and it worked fine.
I thought something went wrong in the CD so I bought the Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. The result was same. It frizzed again. (I just wast few hundred $)
Latter my friend lend me his Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit. I tried it, and it worked, it didn't freezed on Windows 8.
The problem is I played Battlefield 4, Titan fall, and Watch Dogs, and Battlefield 4 multiplayer doesn't work on Windows 8.1. Even though when it works on Windows 8, I prefer using Windows 7.
Dose anyone knows how to fix this freezing thing?
My computer is:
27' iMac late 2013 (bought it just few days ago)
I did no upgrades when I bought it, except the graphic card.
I bought the iMac in Korean Apple Store, and my Windows CD is in Korean, can that be a problem?

In addition to the Windows disc (or USB flash drive with the Windows installer) you'll need a 8GB+ flash drive.
The referenced manual - on page 3, I think, gives you a run-down of what you'll need before you begin the installation. You may also want to post any further Boot Camp questions in the Boot Camp forum -> https://discussions.apple.com/community/windows_software/boot_camp.

Windows 10 install (64 bit). Mouse and keyboard do not work, can't click through setup configuration.

I've tried with both upgrade and iso installation (starting from Windows 7), but for some reason, after setup is finished and I get into the configuration area (IE, accepting license agreements or choosing network or choosing express setup), I do not have
a mouse and keyboard to do anything with. The keyboard and mouse are powered, but aren't giving input. For example, toggling cap's lock does not show up on the keyboard's lights.
Keyboard is Razer Black Widow, mouse is Gigabyte M8000X. I also tried with a Microsoft wireless mouse/keyboard pair with the Razer unplugged during setup (Reason being, a separate razer setup window would appear during the 'configuring devices' stage).
I am able to install to virtual box, but I've only tried the 32 bit installer. I have not yet tried the 32 bit installer on the actual machine, and I have not yet tried booting to the CD.

[solved] mouse and keyboard not working (and previous fix wont work)

i made a clean default setup with
arch
latest kernel - 2.6.29 i think
xorg 1.6.1
video-intel-legacy
on a 865G intel box + tried usb and ps2 keyboards + usb mouse
when i start X the mouse and keyboard dont work (and i have to hard reset the box) in all of the setups i tried. the AutoAddDevices fix suggested before does not work this time
- without xorg.conf
- with auto-generated xorg.conf (X -confogure)
- with the automatic conf +

the setup that works to me now is
automatic xorg.conf with the AutAddDevices False (disable hotplug) lines
dbus and hal enabled in deamons
this lines instruct xorg to use xf86-input-mouse/keyboard instead of evdev. ie it looks like with evdev there is no point in xf86-input-mouse/keyboard

Wireless mouse and keyboard won't connect.

I have a windows 7 computer and a wireless keyboard and mouse which connect to one usb receiver.
I was on the computer and suddenly both my mouse and keyboard stopped working.
The mouse lights up a red light but doesn't work. The computer says it can't recognize the receiver.
The usb receiver doesn't have a connect button. Perhaps the button is a sensor type, but it doesn't seem to make a light turn on.
Perhaps it doesn't work because i touched it with my foot. Please help

Had you considered temporarily connecting a USB mouse and keyboard to enable you to install the original drivers from the Recovery Manager?

Wireless mouse and keyboard not recognized

I know that I have had this issue before, but can't remember what the solution is (old age?) My iMac G5 PPC has a wireless mouse and keyboard (the old apple white one). The iMac came with these as an option but WITHOUT the bluetooth card inside. (I still don't know how this works, but it does). Anyway, the mouse and keyboard were not recognized when I tried to get on today. The batteries are good. If I go to system prefs (using an even older wired mouse) there is no bluetooth option (since no card is present). I don't know how to get the computer to try to recognize both. Any help is definitely appreciated.

If the iMac didn't come with Bluetooth software/hardware, then are you using a USB Bluetooth dongle?
And open System Profile (Applications/Utilities)
Select Bluetooth on the left under Hardware. You may need to click the gray disclosure triangle so it faces down. What does it say on the right?
If the Bluetooth icon is in your Status Menu Bar (top right in your screen). Click the icon and make sure Bluetooth is turned on. Then click: Open Bluetooth Preferences and try re-pairing the mouse and keyboard.

Wireless mouse and keyboard Windows 7

I successfully installed Windows 7 (32 bit) on Apple boot camp (3.2) of my iMac 24.
Everything is working perfectly, except my wireless Magic mouse and wireless keyboard.
I found 2 Bluetooth adapters (Generic Bluetooth adapter and Microsoft Bluetooth-enumerator).
The mouse and keyboard are found but won't install!
What am I doing wrong?

I wish my suggestion had gotten you further.
I do suggest you try to connect the keyboard again. The request for a number is a step in it trying to pair. If it gets by the number, it sometimes takes a little while to get connected. If you are unable to get it connected and want a new one, I have been using Apple Bluetooth keyboards for years - and I like them. The one I have (the newest model) only uses two batteries and is very thin.
Speaking of batteries, if you are not already doing so, you might consider rechargeables. I have a drawer full of them and use a 15 minute charger. I go tired of buying batteries and rechargeables are environmentally friendly to boot. At the moment, I use 2450 mAh Energizers and a 15 minute Energizer charger (all purchased new on eBay at a very reasonable price).
I am far from an iPad "expert," although I have one. If my suggestion below does not help, post your question in a separate thread in the iPad forum.
I had a terrible time syncing my iCal on my Mac with my iPad iCal (confusing - hopefully it makes sense). I quit using iCloud as that added to the confusion. There is a facility to one-time sync items. When you connect your computer to your iPad, iTunes opens. The system begins a process (automatic backup and so on). After it finishes, you can click on "info." At the bottom of the screen, there is an advanced section. You can select any of the items and then force it to sync. The iCal information from your computer would be deposited on the iPad.
After all that, I do not use a Google calendar so the information may be worthless to you.
If you want to reset the iPad to factory settings, you can do that when it is connected to iTunes (one of the options). Me being me, I try never to erase anything.

What is required for Bluetooth mouse and keyboard?

I am thinking of buying a wireless keyboard and mouse and want to make sure I can do it on this iMac G4 computer, bought in 2003. I ran the system profiler and see no information on Bluetooth. If I bought the Apple wireless mouse and keyboard and the D-Link DBT-120 USB Bluetooth Adapter, would that be all I need? Is the installation of these things straighforward so that I could do it at home? Is it likely to work well?

The Bluetooth dongle and the BT mouse and KB are the only things you would need. I found that setting up (pairing) the mouse and KB are straightforward and easy.

UN-pairing wireless mouse and keyboard ?

I have a new(ish) 27" iMac, OS X 10.6.3 [ with two-tone display ...but that's another story ]
I set it up with the wireless mouse and wireless keyboard that came with it.
The instructions were pretty clear how to "pair" the mouse and keyboard.
So I paired them both up and got started with my new iMac.
But I really didn't like either one (to each his own).
Tried my best but just never warmed up to them.
So, I have just gotten me new, third party, wired mouse and wired keyboard.
Question: am I supposed to formally UN-pair the mouse and keyboard?
Seems like you ought to.
Tell the iMac to quit looking for them?
There's an on/off switch on the mouse.
I can just turn it off.
But do I UN-pair it first.
Or anything?
And...there's what the manual says is an on/off switch on the keyboard.
But it seems to be an "on/on" switch.
Maybe this is a "small deal".
Or maybe it is a "no deal at all".
But I find that some times it DOES make a difference whether you do something just the right way or not.
So, just trying to find out.

I have also invoked the wrath of someone that I was assisting with an issue who accused me "assuming" that they were a beginner and of talking down to them. It is often a thankless position.
I was mainly poking fun at myself for being so basic in my understanding of some of this stuff.
But I understand exactly what you're saying.
Hard to know isn't it?
I believe that if you highlight each device separately in the list, that you can then select the - symbol next to the cogwheel and delete the device altogether from your iMac.
Well, I WAS highlighting each device separately, but all the "cogwheel" was giving me was the "disconnect" option.
Then I wondered, hmmm... what's these little "+" and "-" symbols next to the cogwheel mean?
BAM! yep, the minus sign removes them from the computer completely.
..which, if I'm not going to be using them again was what seemed TO ME the thing to do.

The spinning wait cursor (or "beachball") generally means there's some problem that's causing the current app to freeze, or slowing down the current application, or that's slowing down the whole system.
Here's an overview of the spinning wait cursor.
Make a backup first, using the Disk Utility tool booted from your installation DVD to external storage. This backup to ensure you still have access to your most current and complete data, shut this be a problem with your hardware.
Then use Utilities > Activity Monitor.app and the Utilities > Console.app tools to see what's going on, and whether there are related errors being logged.

Basically, I'm getting errors from my USB mouse and keyboard. If I wait long enough udev will find them and they'll start working. GDM starts too fast so Xorg is stuck without keyboard and mouse. I had to ssh and restart GDM then mouse and keyboard worked. For the meantime I've disabled gdm in rc.conf.
I usually see these messages from devices that are drawing too much power from the USB power bus.
These devices work fine in the Win32 and OSX installs on the same hardware.

Well, my media card reader, an internally mounted one, decided to act crazy. Unplugging it from the mobo seemed to fix it. wonder what happened, it's only 3 months old and has no moving parts

I'm running im using the KM4M-L with an Athlon xp 2800+ barton with 512 ddr333 and a codogen case and power supply *350 watts i dont have the details right now ill add those when i get back home *at work right now*
the problem is when i restart the computer when it reboots the mouse and keyboard stop responding
i tried out my optical mouse and it doesn't light up
i tried clearing the cmos and that worked a couple times but it keeps happening
does anyone know the cause of this is or is anyone aware of this problem. and if so are you aware of a once and for all fix

ive had the same problem with my ps2 keyboard, my usb mouse has been fine. i found that the keyboard was intermittently not functioning. It would start again after re-seating the ps2 connector, i guess its a quirk of the board, though since completing the installation of my PC along with the audio kit, i have had no problems, i think it was being moved quite a bit which could have caused the problem.
