    Anyone able to help?

I have updated my phone to that release and the problem still persist. I have read it is due to some Certificate Porblem.
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/ocssecurity/thread/f2d44e0c-0ca5-4b1f-bc84-7e61a36c51c...
i think it has to do with this. So, i have installed the certificate  .DER  but its listed in "my certificates" not in "trusted certificates". How can I move them? or install them in the correct list?

    Hi Guys,
Is there a way to configure Microsoft Office Communicator on my E71 like the way it is possible to configure Official mails to be pushed to E71 using the mFe tool?
My company has published the office communicator on an url. Theoretically It work like Outlook web access.
Any suggestions on this will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Sujit

Sujit - Have you received any reply? I am also facing the same problem
Infact I am sorry to say but I just got my Nokia E71 and am terriably unhappy to learn that it's not able to syncronize my corporate emails. It just syncronizes the inbix and not the subfolders which make my brand new phone USELESS to me. I am not even able to install and access Microsoft Office Communicator.

  • URGENT: Microsoft Office Communicator (OCS) 2007

Hello Guys, it will be great if anyone of you can reply to my below question, I need answer urgently. Please
On Microsoft Office Communicator (OCS) 2007, I have the following questions:
Are the chats saved on local machine (at client end) or are they saved on the server?
If one of the two participants in the chat conversation has quit the organization, what is the way to retrieve it? Essentially, whose name comes in the 'From'
section in the saved conversation history - is the person initiating the conversation or is there some other criteria? For example:
Can it be like below chat conversation?

"Are the chats saved on local machine (at client end) or are they saved on the server?"
Chats can be saved in the conversation history folder of the Exchange inbox.  They can also be archived to a separate SQL server if this was configured in OCS.  Whether they're kept "locally" or not depends on if cached mode was enabled
for Outlook or if they exported to PSTs.
"If one of the two participants in the chat conversation has quit the organization, what is the way to retrieve it? Essentially, whose name comes in the 'From'

example: Can it be like below chat conversation?"
If we're talking about conversation history in Outlook, it might say "Conversation with [other person]".
It's not so much from anyone, as it contains participants.  If it's in SQL, because you enabled archiving and it hasn't been purged, then they will be individual messages to each other, so you'll search both from and to.  You may be able to retrieve
it from Exchange, if the mailbox exists and they haven't deleted it, or from backups.

  • Provision Microsoft Office Communicator via OIM

    Hi xperts,
has anyone configured OIM to create accounts in Microsoft Office Communicator? If yes can some one please share the steps or high level idea of the same
what I think of now is it may be some attributes in AD but which one I am not sure
    Thanks
    -Mukul

    Hi Kevin,
Can you shed us some light on what needs to be done for Office Communicator provisioning (in case of Microsoft).
    a) Does AD Connector is sufficient to pass additional attributes for O.C
    b) In our rquirement , we are using a different communicator other than O.C where there is a need for provisioning.

  • Q10 microsoft office communicator

    q10
    hi
how do i link my corporate instant messaging office communicator to Bb ? is it a separate app? or a setting t olink BBIM with MS office IM?
    thanks
    joe

The only integrated solution involves using a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). Your Q10 would need to be connected to BES and (only on the work side of BlackBerry Balance) would use an application called BlackBerry Enterprise Instant Messenger to connect to contacts managed by Office Communicator.
Oh, and one other thing. The piece that integrates BES with Communicator is BlackBerry Collaboration Server (BCS). It acts as Middleware between BES and Communicator and is installed in the infrastructure back end. Not so important that you know that last part I guess, except it gives you some context for the whole solution. Much more than just installing a piece of software on your phone! ;-)

  • Office Communicator Mobile on E72 not connecting

On my E72, Office Communicator does not work - it hasn't worked yet.
On our machines we use Office Communicator 2005 to connect to an LCS server, over http (not https). Generally, all we need to set it up is the domain/username and password and the LCS server address.
On the E72 however, I can't get it to work. I suspect this may be due to a certificate issue: we use a Trusted Root Certificate to verify identity. I tried to import this to the phone, but it always gets imported to Authority Certificates - not to Trust Certificates. Could this be the issue? I must note that it doesn't connect on office WLAN either, though...
Could it be that we're using an old Office Communicator Server version - I read on allaboutsymbian that OCS 2007 is required?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Im having the same issue, did you get any resolution to this? Seems that doesnt works with trusted certificates.

  • Protecting Microsoft Office Communicator Video Traffic

We are using Live Communictions Server (LCS) 2005 and Office Communicator (MOC) 2005. We would like to protect this traffic. I am wondering how would you do it? I thought about using nbar rtp video, but was curious, does the MOC client use a specific RTP payload type? Could I use this to get more granular so that only MOC video calls would be protected? I know you can use nbar's rtp video payload to do this but I am not sure if it would be possible with MOC.

Yes, you can use the nbar rtp video payload for this and from my understanding it will support the MOC as well.
