when trying to use Safari, or any internet based Apps (ie:facebook,youtube) my daughters Ipad gives me a few min wait, then says " unable to connect, server not responding" . At first I thought it was my Wifi.. nope.. everything else in the house connects just fine. Then I thought that maaaybe I needed to re-login onto my wifi from the Ipad... nope.

Even though other devices are connected to wifi, it still could be that you are not connected. Is the wifi icon at the top of the display illuminated.

Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

HT1430 Ringer function button not responding any ideas?

The ringer button is not responding to up or down.. I'm missing calls, however settings state it's operational and alarm is still working. I will try to reset and reinstall original phone setting. But what a pain in the behind. Any suggestions to try before I bring my life source and connection to the world back to the apple store?

The home button on my iPod Touch 4th Gen. is not responding, any ideas?

The title kinda says it all, I have a iPod Touch 4th Gen., that I have had for almost 2 years. And it has worked wonderfully, up until a few day ago, when I noticed that the home button was getting harder and harder to push on. and then earlier today it just stopped working all together. To exit out of an app, I had to stut off the iPod and restart it again.
I have considered sending it to Apple, but at, $105 (estimated) I was wondering if there was any other ways to fix the problem. And I'm not even sure if it's a problem with the hardware, or the software.

Keys x and c will not respond - any ideas?

My 5 year old iMac just suddenly stopped allowing me to use the x and c keys (I am typing this on a pc). I do not have an external keyboard to use to test it - anyone else ever had this happen? Ideas?

The first thing to try is a SMC reset (may need 2-3 attempts) , if that doesn't work use the PC's keyboard and test. If the problem persists then obviously it's software on the computer. If the PC keyboard works then you know you need a new keyboard.
SMC RESET
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord and all peripherals.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Release the power button.
Attach the computers power cable.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.

Try:

i found the error!
little snitch on os x blocks something (i dont know what exact) of adobe in the background. i have no rule defined for adobe in little snitch, so everything of adobe can go out.
when i stop little snitch, everything works fine - photoshop opens videos without the medialink error, photoshop starts up in seconds and premiere starts without a quicktime error.
i report the problem also to objective developement to fix this!
