CS4 issues with Microsoft Office Small Business 2007? Other apps?

I recently purchased the CS4 upgrade and a new laptop. Last night after nearly 7 hours I finally got it all installed and working correctly. I had the versioncue.dll error which caused most of my pain. Anyway... I've been lurking on the forums since CS3 launched but passed on it due to all the issues I had read about it's installer, finally I felt I needed to take the plunge and upgraded my software (from MX2004 suite). My question is this.
Currently I have a very clean laptop with only:
Kaspersky 2009 and CS4 installed.
I'm looking to install Microsoft Office Small Business 2007 but I have a concern with the Small Business Manager SQL Server. From other post I've seen that the sql servers have conflicted with adobe applications, has anyone had any issues with this or should I be able to install it now without issue. I'm trying to pre-emptivly make sure I don't screw something up and have to install everything again from scratch.
My end goal would be to have: Kaspersky security suite 2009, CS4, MS office Small Business 2007, Paragon back up application. At that point I want to create a restore and if anything happened I'd have the bulk set up easily again.
Does anyone have any other no no's about what does and does not play well with CS4?
My Setup:
Gateway FX 7805u laptop
dual core centreno 2 2.26
4 gigs DDR3
Geforce 9800m gts 1 gb
320 gb 7200 harddrive - not sure on make
Vista 64
All drivers up to date except the new Nvidia drivers as they are still beta

I should also have mentioned (ask) about the fact that when I first installed I had gotten all the way past the initial installer and to the updates so the suite had already been activated/registered.
After getting the versioncue.dll error it has you remove the suite and many folders pertaining to it. So after I did all that and reinstalled it automatically put my info back in for me (obviously one of the folders it doesn't have you move) and I don't recall it re-registering it again. I'm assuming I am fine with my activations and it only counted it once as it was the same machine with an uninstall/reinstall? Everything seems to be working ok, i'm just curious as to what it actually did? Did it take another activation or no? I'm planning on installing to my desktop as well as soon as I get the board/proc replaced, so i'm just looking down the road for potential issues.

Remove microsoft office compatibility pack 2007

We have upgraded all clients to Office 2010 so there is not need for microsoft office compatibility pack 2007 so I want to remove it. The compatibility pack was pushed via GPO. I was removed from GPO but "let user continue to use" was selected.
Now when trying to remove it using msiexec /qn /x{90120000-0020-0409-0000-0000000FF1CE} on almost all pcs I am getting a failure and it is not uninstalling. MSIEXEC error code it 1605.Jason

I haven't any HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall.
But I found the key

with values
DisplayName = Paquete de compatibilidad para 2007 Office system (same product in Spanish)

There is a little change in the GUI, may be related to SP3 for Compatibility Pack, which is installed. That UnistallString worked for me.
In a startup script it must include "/qn" as there is no user interaction. I.e.
msiexec /qn /x {90120000-0020-0C0A-0000-0000000FF1CE}

Starting a meeting using Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007

I have downloaded the Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 software, but I can't figure out how to use it to share my screen in an on-line meeting. Does anyone know how do that?

Chats can be saved in the conversation history folder of the Exchange inbox. They can also be archived to a separate SQL server if this was configured in OCS. Whether they're kept "locally" or not depends on if cached mode was enabled
for Outlook or if they exported to PSTs.

If we're talking about conversation history in Outlook, it might say "Conversation with [other person]".
It's not so much from anyone, as it contains participants. If it's in SQL, because you enabled archiving and it hasn't been purged, then they will be individual messages to each other, so you'll search both from and to. You may be able to retrieve
it from Exchange, if the mailbox exists and they haven't deleted it, or from backups.

Slow Microsoft Office since upgrading!

Hi
I have upgraded my Microsoft Office on my mac and since doing so it takes forever to open the appliactions, has anyone else had this problem? If I get an attachment in PowerPoint from an email it takes about 4 minutes for PowerPoint to open. This isn't because the document is big, this also happens just opening a text document in Word.
Is there anything I can do to make it as fast as it was previously?

After installing Office 2004, did you check Microsoft's Mactopia website to get the ltest updates / fixes to the new version?
EDIT: I noticed your other post about font issues; Office's programs are known to be sensitive to font corruption and/or multuple instances of the same font. Working through Kurt Lang – Font Management should help if that's also an underlying issue with Office being slow. Also, check if you have any copies of Times RO (note Times, not Times Roman).

Safari compatibility with Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 Web Access

I'm trying to use Live Meeting 2007 Web Access, and the test page is saying that the software isn't supported by my platform. The troubleshooter states that system requirements are Safari 1.3 or 2.0, and my Safari is 3.2.1 Can anyone advise how to remedy this without scrapping my current version and adding the earlier one? It also says it needs Apple Java 1.4.2...I'm completely lost there. Thanks for your help!

Did the issue happen for all Live meeting or just for one Live meeting?
If the issue happen for all Live meeting, please update OCS client and then test again.
Try to reset IE and use other media player to test the issue.

Microsoft office standard 2010 64bit(excel)からNI-VISAへアクセスする方法

お世話になります。
Excel2000など古いExcelでは参照設定でVisa32.dllを参照して計測器にアクセスをしていましたが、WindowsやExcelが新しくなり、以前と同じように参照設定でVISAにアクセスできなくなりました。
どのようにしたら、新しいExcelからVISAをアクセスできるのでしょうか？
現在のExcelから参照設定で、"c:\windows\system32\visa64.dll", または"visa32.dll"を開こうとすると、「指定されたファイルへの参照は登録できません」とエラー表示されます。
環境
OS: Windows7 64bit
NI-VISA：　5.1.2
Excel:　Office2010 64bit
初歩的な質問で申し訳ありませんが、検索しても該当する回答を見つけ出すことができなかったため、お教えください。

VISA DLL の参照先は間違いないと思います。
懸念されていますエラーについて一般の検索エンジン【Google】で確認すると、
いくつかの事例が報告されているようです。
使用される開発環境（C/Excel VBA）では何か特別なアセンブリの登録が
必要ではないでしょうか。

Microsoft Office 2011 Font Issues with Yosemite Upgrade

My firm's standard font (Din) is no longer recognized by Microsoft Office applications, as it was with Mavericks and previous. Thinking it was a font issue, I tested out TTF and OTF files with no luck. Has anyone been experiencing font problems and is there a workaround?

The quality will be the same. The quantity might be different. The special upgrade promotion offer is for will allow you to download Office 2011. Sometimes, to reduce the file size, the downloaded version doesn't come with all the extras that the CD version does.
I think the licensing is the biggest hassle. When you need to reinstall, you enter your license key and then it may ask for your Office 2008 license key too. Sometimes the installer will try to scan your disk to make sure you have installed the old version too.
Of course, all of this is just speculation on my part based on past experiences with similar products. The full version will be available in four weeks. I already have Office 2008 and plan to upgrade as soon as I can.

Installation of Microsoft Office 2007

I had microsoft office professional plus 2007. But suddenly it has stopped working. I have tried uninstalling it through control panel but unable to do that with the message that "This product installation is corrupted. Run set up again from the CD,
DVD or other original installation source." But then when I was trying to run the set up , after the completion of the installation progress window nothing is coming. I waited for more then 2 hours, but nothing happened, even the computer was not
showing any error message. So I had to stop the installation. I have then tried to uninstall it with the microsoft fix it tool. But my computer is not letting me to install microsoft fix it tool, with the error message that "another installation in progress.
You must complete that installation before this one." I have restarted my machine and tried installing the microsoft fix it tool, but still it is showing the same error message. Since I was not able to install microsoft office 2007, I have tried
to install microsoft office 2003, but even then my machine is not letting me to install it, with the error message that " error 1500: another installation in progress. You must complete that installation before this one." I have opened the task manager
to see whether any other program is running or not and it shows only office 2003 is running that I was trying to install. I did not able to figure out which program is installing. I really need to install office as soon as possible and my research work
is not progressing because of that. Please help me on this.

Microsoft Office 2013 (Word,excel) Still appear as "Standard" after migrate in ProPlus 365

Hi,
I'm planning a mass deployment of Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus with SCCM 2012.
I made my application, and added a supersedence of Microsoft Office 2013.
So when I deploy ProPlus, It first uninstall Office 2013, then reboot, then install Office ProPlus 365
My problem is that when it install Office ProPlus product that I had on Office 2013 and I go in Account tab, I still see "Microsoft Office Standard 2013"
When I see the others product, I see Microsoft Office ProPlus.
I'm sure that Standard is uninstalled first, I can also see in Add/Remove programs that there is no Standard version.
Is that just a bug, or some of my product hasn't migrate on Office 365 Proplus ?

@Don, I reboot the client computer after uninstalling Office 2013. Nothing have changed.
@Aravindhan, I'm lauching Office from the start menu. I already tried to just uninstall Office and see what's happen. Office uninstalling correctly. But When I install ProPlus, I can see "Office Standard" in account tab.. (and Standard doesn't
appear in Add/remove programs)
Maybe check c:\windows\temp\SetupExe(YYYYMMDDHHMMxxxxx).log
This is the Office (MSI) setup logfile, to see if there were any uninstallation errors?
Are there any standalone Office products installed previously, e.g. SharePointDesigner or similar ?
It might be necessary to use OFFSCRUB.VBS (from the Office removal Fixit) to clean that up?

Microsoft Office Document Imaging

I upgraded Office 2007 to 2010 and found out that I am no longer able to view/print any of my multi-page tiff documents scanned with standard Mircrosoft MODI 2007. The old MODI libraries were removed by the installer and the new office version seems not to have such option in the Shared Tools.
Will MODI be included in the final version of the office 2010?

Designer 2007 is provided as a free download from the Microsoft website. Microsoft Office Document Imaging is included with the SharePoint Designer 2007 installation package as part of the Office Tools.
To install SharePoint Designer 2007, visit the following Microsoft website:

How to include MODI in a SharePoint Designer 2007 installation

How to use the Office Customization Tool to make sure that only MODI is installed
To test SharePoint Designer and to use the OCT to lock down where no one can install the SP designer part of the software, follow these steps:
1.
Download the SharePoint Designer 2007. To do this, visit the following Microsoft website:

This extracts the Setup.exe file, the Admin folder, and so on. After you do this, run the following to create the customizations:

Within the OCT, go to Set feature installations state, and set everything except the MODI to
not available.

If SharePoint is used in your environment, only installing MODI files, Owssup.dll and MSO.dll can be affected by this custom installation. To prevent this, you need to unregister

msiexec /I {90120000-0017-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE} REMOVE=IMNFiles /qn /L*V C:\temp\loggingremoval.txt
