Microsoft Orchestrator approval flow without the help of ticketing tool

Greetings:
I am new to Microsoft Orchestrator, I was reading the blogs of Orchestrator... I am very glad to know that lots of them are esteemed contributor for tech blogs in Orchestrator ..
I have a small query:
I need to bring in Application Approval WorkFlow in Orchestrator without help of any ticketing tool.
We have a separate custom application portal for logging a request as a Application Catalog, so in backend I need to incorporate/build a custom workflow for Approval process, in such a way that it should ask for manager’s approval, once manager
approves the installation of the application should carry on..
A mail has to be triggered for the manager for approval workflow, once the manager approves the flow should take on and an end user should be notified after the flow completion with an application installed state.
NOTE: I do not want to integrate any ticketing tool for the same.
Can I achieve the same via AD or any scripts, or via SCCM database where the users managers will be mapped ...??
Request you to share your opinion on the same.. (Best PLAN OF ACTION) in order to suffice the requirement would be helpful.
Please suggest any alternatives in order to achieve the same.....

How to transfer photos from the new iPad to the computer without the help of an app or anything else?

It's so easy to do so with the iPhone. All I have to do it plug it to the computer, open the folder, then copy and paste the photos. But as for the new iPad, no photos can be detected. I have no way of transferring the photos to my computer at all!!! This is SO frustrating! Please help

Which is the same as iPhone.
- If they were synced to the iPoad you need a third-party progrm like PhoneView.

Is it possible to hookup an HP photosmart plus printer directly to my iPad? My pc died the day my iPad arrived, so I guess my question is can I install a printer driver directly to my iPad? Without the help of a computer?

The B210a is on the list of AirPrint printers, so you should be able to make it work. There may be a firmware update needed. You can check for updates from the printer's control panel, assuming it has a WiFi connection to the internet.
If you do not have WiFi, or your WiFi doesn't correctly handle Bonjour data required by AirPrint, you should be able to setup the printer in Ad Hoc Network mode. You would then connect the iPad's WiFi directly to the printer.
IGMacKenzie's suggestion of Print n Share should work. Also try the free iPad App, HP iPrint Photo.

Adding form pagination without the wizard

Hello,
I'm trying to add a form pagination feature into an existing page. When I'm trying to use the Create Form Pagination Wizard I'm getting the following error: "The Create Form Pagination Wizard uses the onChange JavaScript event to alert users when they are about to exit a page without saving their changes. Remove the onChange event from any item with a source of Database Column and restart the wizard."
I have many items on this page with onchange event, and I really don't want to erase all of then, using the wizard, and retyping them again. Is there a way to bypass this problem? I'm actually looking to use the " Get Next or Previous Primary Key Value" process. Can I manually create this process without the "help" of the wizard?

Arie - Perhaps you could create a temporary form page with a "clean" form and then create the form pagination process there. Then copy that process to your existing form page. After the copy, edit the process and change all the item names, column names, etc., in the process definition page and create any items required to support it. Finally, delete the temporary form page.

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with a Windows operating system file there.
Perhaps try an sfc /scannow. For instructions, see the following Microsoft document:

Converting your MUSIC to a RINGTONE 'without GOOGLE help'

Took me a while to work this out and after much hair pulling and ‘without’ the help of Google or a 3rd party program see below.
Good luck:-
• Open I Tunes
• Find the song you want as a ringtone
• Double Click the song to play it and make a note of the start time where you want the ringtone to start. The counter is shown at the top of I Tunes in the centre just to the left.
• Stop the song
• Right click on the song and click ‘Get Info’
• Click on ‘Options’ Tab
• In the drop down, put the start time in the ‘Start Time’ box
• Put the stop time in the ‘Stop Time’ box. Stop time must be no more than 30 seconds after the start time otherwise ITunes will not see it. i.e. start 0:10 stop 0:40, start 0:12 stop 0:42 and so on
• Click ‘Ok’
• Right click on the song again
• Left Click on ‘Create AAC Version’ this will create a second version with a time of only 30 seconds.
• On the original song you first clicked right click on the song and click ‘Get Info’
• Click on ‘Options’ Tab
• Remove the tick from the ‘Start Time’/Stop Time box.
• Click ok. This is important as if you don’t every time you play that song it will only play the 30 seconds you have chosen. Sort of resets the counter and tidy ups I Tunes.
• Now on the song that was created (the 30 second time song) right click on it and click ‘show in windows explorer’
• This will open the location in windows explorer where the track is stored and highlight it for you. (leave it ITunes open)
• The song should say its name then just after it in the same box .m4a
• If there is no .m4a on the end of the song name, no problem. At the top of the windows explorer windows box where it says file, edit, view, favourites etc click ‘Tools’. A list will drop down then click ‘Folder Options’ This will open a window. Click the ‘View’ Tab. This will show a load of boxes with ticks in. Un-tick the box that says ’Hide Extensions For Known File Types’. Click ‘Apply’ then ‘Ok’ you should now see the .m4a at the end of the song name.
If you have any issues doing the above, i.e. if you have Windows Vista I downloaded a foc for 45 days program that edits file types.
• Right click on the song then change the .m4a to an .m4r. i.e. just change the a to an r This will change the file ‘Type’ from ‘m4a File’ to ‘Ringtone’
• Leave the windows explorer window open.
• Go back into I tunes and close it.
• In the windows explorer window that was left open double click the ringtone you created. This should now open I Tunes and start playing the song. Be patient as sometimes it takes a minute or so.
• In the list on the left in I Tunes will be a file called ‘Ringtones’ with a bell to the left of it. Click this file. This will open the ringtones file. In there will be the ring tone you created.
• Now in the list on the left in I Tunes click ‘Music’ then find the original song you copied originally in the list. You will find that there are two. One of full song length and the other of 30 second length. The 30 second one will have right on the left a ! Symbol. It you double click on the song it will say it can’t find it. DO NOT click locate. Click cancel otherwise it will go off and hunt for it.
• Right click on the song with the ! Symbol by it then click delete. This will delete it. Don’t worry this is just to tidy up your I Tunes and will not delete the song as its only a path to the song that is no longer there. The song is now a ringtone and found through the ringtones file.
• Now last but not least plug in your phone and sync it. Once done the ringtone will appear in the ‘settings’, ‘sounds’, ‘ringtone’ section.

I recently bought Flash CS4. Before this, I was used to working in Flash 8 Professional. One of the features of Flash 8 Professional I used the most was the Help pane, which displayed Flash's documentation (searchable) in a window inside Flash itself, without the need to go to a HTML file or an external web page.
Today, I started using Flash CS4, and was surprised to discover that the Help pane was (apparently) no longer a part of Flash!
So, my suggestion to the MacromediAdobe developers is: I (and, I'm sure, many others) would be grateful if you were to return in-program Help capabilities to Flash-- thanks in advance.
Everybody else: Do you feel the same way/do you have any idea why it was removed?

I don't think I've come across anyone who likes it without the help system built in. I haven't upgraded to CS4, and that is just one of the reasons for my avoiding it.
As to why they did it??? It's possiblte that like alot of the CS4 package it simply wasn't ready to be released, so they opted to leave it out... but that's just speculation on my part.
As far as letting Adobe know about your preference...

Some people here, myself included, are somewhat annoyed over bugs etc in Edge. That´s fair considering we´re paying for a product which I believe not all of us knew was "not fully ready".

Is there a way to move an arrow connector in Microsoft Word without the line shape altering

I am trying to create an Entity Relationship Diagram in Microsoft Word and in doing so I am trying to connect the foreign keys to what they reference. When I do so, I try to move the one end of my arrow connection to that column name but when I do so the
whole line changes shape. Is there any way that I can move just the one arrow connection to the column it should reference without the arrow line altering its shape?

(1) Each appropriation request should be attached to an investment program (leaf) position. To update the approved budget on the investment program from time to time, you should
    - make a plan rollup from the appropriation requests to the program positions via IM34 (use an appropriate status selection profile on the initial screen of IM34 and select appropriation requests only to make sure that
       > only appropriation requests
       > with status 'Approved' are taken into account),
    - To budget the investment program via IM32, set view 'Planned total' (Menu: 'Views -> Planned total') and copy this view, which contains the latest approved budget amounts, to the "real" budget (Menu: 'Edit -> Select -> Select all' and then 'Edit -> Copy view').
(2) You can even generate an order from the appropriation request that enherits the appropriation requests plan value. For details see SAP Library (Menu: 'Help -> SAP Library'), path 'Financials -> IM Investment Management -> Appropriation Requests -> Replacement by a measure for implementation'. Analogously to step (1), you can also take over the orders 'Planned total' view into the orders budget via txn IM52.
If you strictly limit the authorisations to execute IM34, IM32 and IM52 as pointed out in steps (1) and (2) to a handful of people who execute these functions as pointed out above (withoud adding or removing budget arbitrarily, of course), the budgeting process
really focusses on planning/approving appropriation requests which is fully accompanied by the approval workflow.

I am planning to Automate the migration process with the help of scripts.
But not sure how to make a flow on Orchestrator for the same.
I have following things which can be used with Orchestartor:
1. Script to perform VMware to Hyper-V Migration.
2. Script to perform VM Status check post migration.
So how can i use these script with Orchstartor to automate migration?

if you have the scripts there is not necessarily any reason to involve Orchestrator.
If you want to ex. put a migration offering on the SM portal you could use Orchestrator. As Powershell and Orchestrator does not play well you may want to consider having Orchestrator write key data to a file, then have a scheduled script pick up these files
and start the migration using the scripts you have.
You could also have a script to monitor new requests and launch the script from there. This is one case where a customized service request class could come into play.

You require Windows 7.
Windows 7 is the same and will run the same as it would on a Windows computer. All programs that run on a windows computer will run on your Windows once installed. You will need anti virus software for your Windows partition. Microsoft Security Essentials is free and it works well.

I am now looking to use ipads as viewing stations instead of laptops my problem is is that i dont know how to link everything up without the internet. icloud would be the best way but alot of hotels that i go to you cant get signal so that makes me stuck.
I previously created a network using a roughter and eternet cables.

How to get a true "full screen" view without the edit tools? The help manual promises such a view.

How do I get a true "full screen" view in the new version of Iphoto without the edit tools showing? Weirdly enough, the help manual promises such a "full" view, which was always available in my earlier version of Iphoto.
