Microsoft outlook webapp fails to open error X-OWA-Error

A number of my users are getting the following error when trying to use the latest Office365 update

Native client tools seem to be okay, just 3rd party browsers (we have the same issue with Safari and Chrome). I am assuming that Microsoft have introduced some function with their update last Tuesday/Weds evening.
Nothing on the microsoft site, any help greatly appreciated.

I'm Using Microsoft Outlook web app, I'm not facing any issues.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
<b> To Enable SafeMode </b>
*You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the '''Shift''' key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
* Or open the Help menu and click on the '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' menu item while Firefox is running.
*''Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"''
If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: "Firefox > Quit Firefox"; Linux: "Firefox/File > Quit")

  • Microsoft Outlook 2003 will not open after downloading BlackBerry Desktop

I just upgraded from a BB 8303e to the BB Tour 9630. When I downloaded BB Desktop manager to my computer the program required that I must download Microsoft.net Framework 2.0 SP1, I did that, and was able to bring over all current contacts and calendar. Once that was completed, I tried opening my Outlook, but received an error message stating that Outlook incurred an error. I have tried everything possible to correct but Outlook will not open. I reset my computer under system restore to a previous date which removed BB Desktop manager as well as the microsoft.net Framework 2.0 SP1, than Outlook would open as normal. So again downloaded BB Desktop manager and the required microsoft.net Framework 2.0 SP1 and again error messages came once again after I tried to open Outlook, so again I did system restore to a previous date so I could use Outlook.
Has anyone had this same problem, can anyone help me resolve this issue so I can use Outlook and BB Desktop manager?

Follow these instructions to uninstall MacKeeper. They have been tested with the most recent version of MacKeeper (v 2.8). Earlier versions than the one released in 2012 require more extensive work to uninstall all its components.
The effects of having actually used MacKeeper to do anything are a completely different matter. The fastest way to take an exquisitely designed and painstakingly engineered Mac and make it run like a steaming pile of dung is to install and use such ill-conceived "cleaning" or "security" products. This is just one example of a broad category of time- and money-wasters capable of causing damage that can only be rectified by reinstalling OS X, restoring from a backup, or completely erasing your system and rebuilding it from the ground up. Never install such junk on a Mac.
If you used MacKeeper to encrypt any files or folders, use MacKeeper to un-encrypt them first.
Quit the MacKeeper app if it is running.
Open your Applications folder: Using the Finder's Go menu, select Applications.
Drag the MacKeeper icon from your Applications folder (not the Dock) to the Trash.
You will be asked to authenticate (twice):
You do not need to provide a reason for uninstalling it:
Just click the Uninstall MacKeeper button. You will be asked to authenticate again.
After it uninstalls you may empty the Trash and restart your Mac. All that will remain is an inert log file that does nothing but occupy space on your hard disk.

In case it happens again, try to manually select the folders you want to synchronize with in MS Outlook. In PC Companion, click Settings when you're in the synchronization app and the select the option for personal data on the left and then click Properties for Contacts and Calendar to select folder.

  • Why links in Microsoft Outlook emails do not open Firefox?

FF 4.0b8 is my default browser and MS Outlook 2003 my default email program. When I open an email containing a link to a website and click on it, no FF window is opened. This problem did not exist with Internet Explorer.
As an alternative solution, I've tried copying the website link from the email, but then I find that it can't be pasted on an open FF window either.

Of course Firefox is my default browser. And of course I've tried what you've said, to no avail. Moreover, when I highlight and copy any text from a webpage in FF, it is impossible to paste it on any other application, whether it be Word, Outlook, MS Money...
I fear that my "experimentation" with FF is going to end soon. Lots of fancy add-ons, but pretty catastrophic operativity in terms of the elementals. MS Internet Explorer may be more archaic, but it sure is less buggy.

  • Pdf Failed to open error...

I've been using CS5 for a few months on our new iMac with very few problems...until this week. Seems like more than half the pdfs I try to place in InDesign will not place. I have tried the Holding Shift key and the Show Options is checked, but I am still getting the error on too many pdfs. I've been having to throw the pdf into PS and save as a tiff to get them to place in InDesign. Anyone know of anything else I can try?
    Thanks to all.

I heard my name used in vain? (Actually, I'm in Ghent, Belgium right now for the quarterly Ghent PDF Workgroup meeting!)
Yes, I certainly do have strong words against the practice of refrying of PDF files via distillation of PostScript output by Acrobat!
Rather than using the refrying hack that effectively kills live transparency, color management, etc., I would suggest using the preflight capabilities in Acrobat 9 Pro to find out and fix the actual problem as opposed to simply masking it via refrying it.
If the OP has a sample of such a PDF file that refuses to place in InDesign that they can share, on behalf of Adobe, I'd be glad to investigate what's actually going on.

  • Outlook permissions fail to open PST after home folders migration on server

Yesterday I spent the day consolidating files on our server.Users my Doc folders are redirected to the server.I moved the central file share \\server\User Home Folders$ from the soon to be decommissioned G: volume to the New central storage D:I used emcopy64 for this to retain all file permissions and owner etc. This is the command I used:G:\emcopy64 "g:\User Home Folders" "d:\User Home Folders" /o /s /secforce /c /r

I checked and all attributes, ownership, time stamps and NTFS permissions followed nicely, it felt great. Then this morning as I was starting things up before anyone got into work, I discovered it. Yes indeed kjamezzz, that was my problem.
But same as Good-heart, no connection possible to OD when away from server. Probably because the 'Users and Groups" preferences point to OD-server  server.local  instead of the external DNS record. But the client can't find the OD server when pointing to the external DNS record, even when they are in the same network.

  • Failed to send E-mail via microsoft OutLook

    Hi All,
Does anybody knows why this message appears when I tried to send an email via out look, using the button email on the B1 menu bar.  i have selected the user name and the email address correctly, i have ticked the option send emiail using microsoft outlook.  then the following error message appeared
"BO2069: Failed to send e-mail via Microsoft Out look"
the connection was established between outlook and b1 using the logon function in outlook integration addon.
    thanks

    Dear,
If my last answer could not solve your issue, please refer to the informaiotn below:
The reported issue occurs due to the fact that outlook can only send attachments from the Business One attachments folder.
This issue has been fixed in 2005A SP01 PL41. Please refer to the note 1116389. As a solution we would suggest to upgrade to the latest patch level.
Until you upgrade to latest patch of 2005A SP 01 you can use the following workaround:
    - Manually copy all attachments to the B1 attachment path before sending this mail. If you create a shortcut to your attachments folder in a convenient location (perhaps the desktop) this can be done very quickly. (Browse to your document, right click and select copy, press the Windows Key+D to go to your desktop, double
click the shortcut, then paste into the attachments folder.)
    Alternatively, you could either:
    - Change the B1 attachment path to your attachment files path.
    or
    - Uncheck 'Send E-mail via MS Outlook', and send this message. Nowthese attachments will be copied to the Business One attachment path.
Then send this message again, with 'Send E-mail via MS Outlook' checked.
Further we would suggest to apply following steps:
-upgrade your MS Office 2003 application to the current SP. (SP3)
-verify that the sender's e-mail address defined for the sender in SAP Business One is valid.
-Set up the correct smtp server in SBO Mailer / General Setting /Mail Settings (you should check with a "Test connection" button)
Wish the information could solve your issue.
    Regards

    Hi petro_jemes,
Just a little claritification, you need to add the value to the variable "[string]$ou", and also change the language in the variable "$emailbody" in the function "Get-ADUserPasswordExpirationDate".
    I hope this helps.

  • Cannot Start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook Window. The set fo folders cannot be opened. You must connect to Microsoft Exchange with the current profil

Cannot Start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook Window. The set fo folders cannot be opened. You must connect to Microsoft Exchange with the current profile before you can synchronize your folders with your Outlook data file (.ost)
OK. This is a new outlook setup on a laptop. The mail account is on a MS Exchange Server 2010. The user can log on to their laptop no problem with their AD login and password. To setup the outlook profile we have checked the name OK. When we click finish
and try to start outlook we get the above error message. It is driving me pots as I have tried also of things. I have tried to connect without catching the files. The error message then says that the Exchange Server is down, yet we checked the name OK and
I can log on to the MS Exchange server and see the setup.
What else is it that I need to look at as I have tried everything. I will add that they one service I see not running is the Exchange RPC service. If I try to start it, it fails saying Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services
    or programs.
    What can I do?

The major cause of this problem is a corrupted Navigation Pane settings file – profilename.xml, where “profilename” is the name of your Outlook profile. A good sign that the
file is corrupted is when the size of the file is shown 0 KB. No one knows the precise reason why this takes place, but all versions of Outlook from 2003 to 2013 may get affected.
Other causes may be when you run Outlook in the compatibility mode, or if you are using a profile generated in an older Outlook version, or if the Outlook data file (.pst or .ost)
was removed or damaged as the result of faulty uninstallation or reinstallation of MS Outlook.
Follow the steps given below to resolve this problem
    1. Recover Navigation Pane configuration file
    2. Repair your Outlook PST file using Inbox Repair tool
    3. Create a new Outlook profil and import data from the old PST file
    4. Turn off Compatibility Mode
    5. Start Outlook in Safe Mode
