Microsoft told us to include the iPad's in the true-up as a fully qualified desktop under the Enterprise Agreement?

Hi,
I work at Oil company in the UAE and we wanted to use iPads at  work but Microsoft replied with the following & I wanted to verify this from your side:
Weather iPad is owned by the user or the company, it will require proper softwarelicense right to access Microsoft Software in use by your organization. Beloware different usage scenarios and required licenses:
iPadwill be used to access
-       exchangeEmail”: each iPad will require a Windows Server Device CAL, Exchange DeviceCAL, Exchange Enterprise Device CAL*, and Forefront for Exchange CAL*
-       Intranetrunning IIS only: each iPad will require a Windows Server Device CAL
-       Portalrunning SharePoint: each iPad will require a Windows Server Device CAL, SQLDevice CAL, SharePoint Standard Device CAL, SharePoint Enterprise Device CAL,and Forefront for SharePoint CAL*
-       InternalBusiness Applications: Windows Server Device CAL, SQL Device CAL, any other CALused by this application
-       MicrosoftOffice: each iPad will require and Office license except for 1-1 remote access
“Notethat for Exchange Email access, this will apply even if the user will use iPademail client, outlook web access, Outlook via HVD or RDS.

As theenterprise agreement doesn’t include individual CAL’s. there are three ways toacquire those licenses:
-       Includethe iPad’s in the true-up as a fully qualified desktop under the EnterpriseAgreement
-       Acquiringthe Enterprise CAL only & SQL CAL for those devices under the EA. We willneed to approve an exception to do that. Please advise me the quantity. Thisscenario will apply only if Office will not be used with the iPad or will beused in 1-1 Remote Access scenario.
-       Signa separate Select agreement to acquire the individual CAL’s with SA.
