Microsoft wireless mouse with ipad2

How i can use microsoft wireless leypad and mouse with ipad2?
Bala

You can't use a mouse with an iPad - it does not have a mouse pointer for a mouse to control as it is a touchscreen device which you use with your finger.
Some Bluetooth keyboards are compatible with the iPad. You would need to contact Microsoft and ask them if the one you have is.

  • IPhone trying to mate with Microsoft wireless mouse.

I know this is hard to believe, but when my iPhone is within 2 feet of my Dell PC, I can move the cursor on the computer. But once the iPhone realizes that it has a captive audience it starts moving through menus, clicking, moving to new items. I thought I was under attack or that the microsoft wireless mouse was going ballistic.
This doesn't happen on any of my apple products. The fix is just to keep these two animals separated.

If you drag to another folder it moves.  If you drag to another disk, it copies.
This can be modified by certain control keys:
    Command key while dragging
Move dragged item to other volume/location (pointer icon changes while key is held--see this article)
    Option key while dragging
Copy dragged item (pointer icon changes while key is held--see this article)
    Option-Command key combination while dragging
Make alias of dragged item (pointer icon changes while key is held--see this article)

I have got two questions: 1. Can I use a wireless Mouse with an I Pad?  2. Is there Nano-Technology in use in Apple / Mac - Computers, I Pads and or Phones?
    Thanks Roland

There actually is a type of "pointer" native to iOS. it's part of the AssistiveTouch feature,  used to replicate multitouch gestures with one finger. You just can't control it with a mouse.
Anyway, as far as I can discern the iPad does not use nanotechnology in any part of its construction.

  • Microsoft wireless mouse?

Hello, I'm trying to set up a new mac mini. Can I use a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse with it? It appears to recognize the keyboard and mouse, but once i get to the country-selection page, I cannot pick an entry from the table though I can navigate around. I'd really like to avoid spending another ~$100 on an apple keyboard on mouse. Please help?

They should work, but I consider wireless KB & Mouse unreliable, even if Apple's, I'd try a cheap 3$ USB Mouse & $10 USB KB to get you setup & for emergency use.

  • Microsoft Wireless Mouse Wheel working upside down

I just installed OX 10.7 Lion yesterday.  I have an Intel based Macbook and I use a Microsoft Wireless (non-bluetooth) Laser Mouse with it and ever since I installed Lion the Wheel Button funtion scroll up/down and left/right is backwards (down/up and right/left) from the way it is supposed to.  I tried every setting and switched to another Microsoft Wreless Mouse and it is doing the same thing.  I have updated to the latest version of Microsoft Mouse software but to no avail.  It is very frustrating when I'm scrolling (which I do a lot).  Has anyone else run into this problem.  I've tried everything I can think of to correct this but I have been unsecussful up to this point.

Scroll Direction Is In Track Pad and What I Wrote Its Same. I Just Think Its Easy Way To Explain With Mouse Pref.
    Thank You Also

  • Sleep Problem - Microsoft Wireless Mouse

    Hi Folks!
I have a MBP Unibody, summer 2009, and I installed Snow Leopard last week.
My computer won't sleep unless I close the cover. I know what the problem is, it is apparently my Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse, which is plugged into my USB port. Removing the transmitter from the USB port solves the problem.
Anyone know how this problem can be fixed? I like my wireless mouse!
    WJD

I have a very similar problem. I have a 15" MBP March 2009. SL 10.6.1. I have a logitech Optical Mini Mouse, when I close the lid it trys to sleep, once the snoring or breathing led starts dimming, it wakes up and then trys to sleep again in a loop, an endless loop.
I installed the logitech driver 3.1 for OS X 10.6, and that did not help, it behaves the same with and without the driver.
removing the usb dongal solves the problem, and it sleeps just fine.
Also drop down lists in firefox flash quickly and are nearly unusable, but work perfectly once the dongal is removed.

  • Microsoft Wireless 8000 with a mac?

Is anyone using the Microsoft Wireless Entertainment 8000 series keyboard and mouse with a mac? MS's site says that it is compatible, but that many of the functions don't work. Any thoughts?
Why can't Apple make a wireless keyboard like this? Backlighting, somewhat ergonomic, media controls... seems like a perfect mac keyboard!
    Thanks,
    Kevin

I have a 7000, which is essentially similar. And I agree with you 100% - I wish Apple would make a keyboard like this. I bought it after realizing the aluminum laptop-size keyboard *****, and buying a Logitech DiNovo that may be the biggest POS ever sold in this century.
Anyway, the MS site is right: it's compatible, but many functions don't work. The Intellitype software doesn't recognize it, so you can't swap or remap any keys. None of the special keys work, and you have to mash the big glowing blue orb beneath the spacebar for Cmd. I went through about six cycles with first-and-second-tier MS support before they finally realized that it's hooked to a Mac and told me to go pound sand.
I'm new to Macs and still trying to find stuff like a utility that will report keycodes. I figure there has to be a way to add the necessary resources to Intellitype can work.

  • I have a Mac running 10.9.2. My wireless mouse with not scroll in mail but works fine in other applications? Any suggestions?

I have a Mac running 10.9.2. My apple wireless mouse will not scroll in Mail but works fine in other applications.
    Any suggestions?

First, see this discussion. If the solution suggested there doesn't work for you, continue.
If you've installed a Mail plugin called "Mail Unread Menu" and you know how to remove it, please do that, then quit and relaunch Mail. Test. Otherwise, see below.
    Back up all data.
    1. Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    ~/Library/Mail/Bundles
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
    Services ▹ Open
from the contextual menu.* A folder may open, or you may get an error message that the item can't be found. Either result is normal. If the folder does open and has contents, move the contents to the Desktop. Relaunch Mail and test. If there's no change, put the contents of the folder back and quit Mail again.
    2. Repeat with this line:
    /Library/Mail/Bundles
This time you may be prompted for your login password when you remove the items. Make sure they're removed from the folder and not just copied to the Desktop. If necessary, copy them first and then move the originals to the Trash.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

  • 21" Imac suddenly stopped finding the wireless mouse (with new batteries)

Despite my changing the batteries in the wireless mouse, and despite the fact that the Bluetooth is working with my wireless keyboard, I can't get the IMac to recognise and connect with the wireless mouse. Any ideas?

    Hi Steve,
I just started having the same problem with my mouse. First it started not waking the computer. Today even the space bar wouldn't wake the computer. But I'm more concerned with reconnecting with the mouse. How did you delete the mouse in the Bluetooth devices list? I can't seem to delete it. Is it because I have a USB mouse plugged in until I fix the wireless one? I doubt that has anything to do with it. It sounds like your fix worked, but I can't delete the mouse. Help! Jeri

  • I have to use a wireless mouse with my MacBook Pro because the touchpad does not consistently work.  Now, the wireless mouse is not consistently staying connected.  Any ideas??

Why doesn't my Apple wireless remote remain connected?  It is frequently giving me a "lost connection" signal and since the touch pad works intermittently it has become frustrating.

  • Wireless mouse with a wired keyboard

I have the original iMac G5 running OS10.4. Originally the computer had both the wireless mouse and keyboard. When the keyboard died after 2 years I switched to a wired keyboard. Upon booting the machine constantly wants to search for the keyboard (the mouse is recognized just fine) until I unplug the wired keyboard and re-plug it in at which point the computer displays a window saying that a keyboard has been recognized. The wired keyboard isn't functional until I have gone through this work around. How do I make it stop searching (ever) for a wireless keyboard but still be able to use the wireless mouse?
BTW the mouse is the only bluetooth devices listed in the bluetooth preferences.
    Thanks in advance!
    Paul

Don't know if this will help your particular situation, but in my case it did with my bluetooth connection to my mighty mouse.
Remove the com.apple.Bluetooth.plist file from the Preference folder (Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist). When you removed that file to the trash, erase the trash file, shutdown the computer and then start it again, it immediately recognized the mouse and asked to confirm the pairing.
