I suggest you do one of two things:
1. Upgrade to Office 2011 for OS X.
2. Try the freeware, Libre Office.

After installing the most recent iTunes update/version iTunes will no longer run on my PC (Windows 7). I receive multiple error windows with the Microsoft error code R6034. Apple support had not responded to my requests for clarification. The update corrupted both ITunes and Office Outlook mobileme. The error message when I tried to start up I Tunes was Error 7 Windows 193. I un installed I Tunes and re installed the latest ver and encountered the same error message. I finally did a system restore. Was this a one time problem or is the update bad. In over 30 years I'd never had a problem with any Apple update.

Since the most recent Firefox update Flash (v.10.3) no longer works on some sites
I had problems with the Flash v.11.whatever recent upgrade so uninstalled it and installed v.10.3etc. It worked fine for all sites until the most recent Firefox update a few days ago (27th August, 2012?). Now Flash will not work on some sites e.g. UK's Channel 4 On Demand service. Other browsers work fine on same site e.g. Chrome. Can you guys at Mozilla try and get Firefox communicating with Flash again? Thanks.

Firefox is my default browser and since the most recent Firefox update I have been unable to click through links I receive from Windows Live Email to the Firefox browser, but it works if my browser is set to IE9?? Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the problem is resolved.
Step 1
Restart the router. Many problems are solved that way.
Step 2
Change the name of the wireless network, if applicable, to eliminate any characters other than letters and digits. You do that on your router via its web page, if it's not an Apple device, or via AirPort Utility, if it is an Apple device.
Step 3
Run the Network Diagnostics assistant.
Step 4
Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Enter the name of your wireless network in the search box. You should have one or more "AirPort network password" items with that name. Make a note of the name and password, then delete all the items. Quit Keychain Access. Turn Wi-Fi off and then back on. Reconnect to the network.

Make a note of all your settings for Wi-Fi in the Network preference pane, then delete the connection from the connection list and recreate it with the same settings. Select Join other network from the Network Name menu, then select your network. Enter the password when prompted and save it in the keychain.
Step 7
Reset the System Management Controller (SMC). -
SSRS 2008 R2 is extremely slow. The query runs in less than a second in the dataset designer but if you try to view the report it takes over 10 minutes. I have read this is a bug in SSRS 2008 R2. We installed the most recent patches and

I have tested on my local environment and can‘t reproduce the issue. Obviously, it is the performance issue, rendering performance can be affected by a combination of factors that include hardware, number of concurrent users accessing reports, the amount
of data in a report, design of the report, and output format. If you have parameters in your report which contains many values in the list, the bad performance as you mentioned is an known issue on 2008 R2 and already have the hotfix:

If you don’t have, you can do some action to improve the performance when designing the report. Because how you create and update reports affects how fast the report renders.

The forward, back, refresh, and stop buttons are not working. Even after installing the latest Firefox update. Also my home page stopped loading upon startup even tho I have it setup to do so. A really recent MacBook Pro would be running Lion, Mac OS 10.7, and the most recent update is 10.7.3. The delta update from 10.7.2 was found to cause problems and rather than fix them, the update was pulled and Lion users were directed to the "combo" updater which contained all the code necessary to update any Mac running Lion from any previous version of Lion, which is a lot of code, hence the very big download. BTW, 10.7.3 has been problematic for some software so it would be wise to explore the comments and complaints in the Lion forum before you update since you can't go back if you change your mind without having a good backup. Also BTW, this forum is for the Mac Pro; you have a MacBook Pro, which has its own forum and can probably provide you with more useful information. -
When I installed the recent updates for Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac, my iCal calendar was wiped out, as was the calendar on my iPhone. I'd rather use iCal than Office and was attempting to phase Office out altogether. Now, all of my information is on the Office calendar but not iCal. The iCloud version of my iCal calendar is not up to date. In any event, I couldn't figure out how to send that info to the iCal on my mac or my phone. How can I sync my Office calendar info to iCal? If that's not possible, how can I get my Office calendar to sync with my iPhone? All of my sync services are set up in iTunes and on my phone. This happened to me once before and I spent hours on the phone with Apple and on the web trying to work it out. I NEED MY CALENDAR!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!

The other concern I have is that Office 2011 requires an Intel-based Mac and you posted in the older iMac (pre-Intel or "PPC") forums. Word crashes when I try to save after installing the Canon driver.
I have Windows Vista running Microsoft Office 2007. Word was working just fine until I installed the Canon MX432 driver. Now every time I try to save a document, Word crashes. I have tried to repair Office. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Office program. I have closed the Canon solutions menu on the desktop. Nothing works. Any suggestions?

If I were you, I'd try changing the printer default to something other than the MX432 just in case Word doesn't like the new printer. If that solves the crashing problem, try to reinstall the driver again before setting the printer default to the MX432. Are you sure you've got the driver that is compatible with Vista? Vista is finicky when it comes to drivers.
If that doesn't work at all, I'd do a driver uninstall then a system restore to before the install. This will put everything back to when it was hunky dory, as they say. G'luck. -
Recent ITunes update has caused ITunes not to work. Tried uninstalling all Apple products and reinstalling fresh. Still doesn't work. Tried reinstalling from an old install.exe. Install went nicely but program won't start as it says it can't open the library file.
Now that I have no way of accessing any of the products I have purchased from ITunes, I will most certainly never use ITunes again for any reason. Why throw good money after bad? I will use another MP3 player that is not as cumbersome or proprietary.

has anyone else had the problem with getting your iphone to sync? i can't get any of my newly downloaded music to sync to my phone from my itunes and i tried to delete all my music and it won't even sync to do that. i dont know what to do.
try a new/fresh apple brand cable and make sure it is the only usb cable in use. this worked for me, i noticed i had no problem with a lighting cable. i did a restore from scratch and from backup and it did not help me...and if you cant sync than you wont be able to get anything but apps back after the restore

IChat video is not working after installed the 10.6.4 update
Hi. I'd like to know, how to solve the problem for my iChat video that has stopped working after I installed the latest update. I dunno what's the problem but it shows that, when I clicked on the preferences for iChat on the Audio/Video, I got "This computer does not support video chats". But that thing is, my iSight camera's working just fine, even the indicator's also lighted up. Is there any solution to this?

The camera can only be used by one App at a time (unless you have certain Add-ons).
However if it works in other applications and not iChat I would check that the Video Menu > Camera Enabled is ticked.
This, if unticked, is the camera Off.
IF you have just done the 10.6.4 update I would Repair Permissions as well.
Try rebooting the computer.
