Microwaved iPhone 4, cannot detect WiFi.

I have microwaved my iPhone 4 for 3 seconds (hearing rumors about it charging your phone) and it turns out now it cannot detect WiFi what's so ever.

Seriously? You bought into that crap?
Guess you'll be buying a new phone.

IPhone 4 cannot detect wifi unless almost next to router

I've had my iPhone 4 for about 2 months now and it could detect wifi at quite a good range. But until recently I have had to get almost completely next to the router for it to detect. It's not my wifi; my sister's phone can detect it at a certain range, but mine cannot. I don't know what happend to it! HELP!

The troubleshooting steps detailed below can help resolve issues with signal strength when using Wi-Fi on your iPhone.
Wi-Fi disconnects or signal strength is less than expected
Move closer to the Wi-Fi router (access point).
Check for sources of potential interference.

How did you install Windows? Did you use Bootcamp Assistant or did you use a virtual machine like Parallels, Fusion, or VirtualBox.
If you used Bootcamp Assistant, did you download and install the Windows Support software (drivers) in accordance with the Bootcamp instructions?

My IPhone 5 cannot save WIFI password. Everytime my phone joins WIFI network it needs the security password. I tried to reset network settings, reset phone but still issue remains

The iPhone is locked to a different carrier. Only that carrier and authorize unlocking so you can use the iPhone with other carriers, so you will have to contact that original carrier and ask if you qualify for unlocked and if so what their procedure is.

IPhone 4 cannot access wifi from airport

Both my girlfriend and I have iPhone 4's. We cannot access wifi from my personal home airport. When we go to log into wifi and we type in the password, we receive a prompt saying, "Incorrect password for....". I am writing this on my MacBook, logged into my wifi, with the same exact password???????
I've tried everything. Resetting iPhone, MacBook, and Airport. I also tried resetting my password and resetting the network settings. I don't know what else I could possibly do. It's frustrating because my girlfriend is on a data plan and can't utilize our wifi.
Any ideas???????

I just tried to restore my new iPhoe 5 from the backup of my old phone and now the nes iPhone 5 cannot locate my wifi system even though it was locating it fine just before I did the restore.

Once after a restore I noticed WiFi was off. So please excuse the obvious nature of these questions, but maybe they will help:
Is Settings > WiFi set to "On"?
Is Settings > Airplane Mode set to "Off"?

My iphone 4s is also completely useless when it comes to connecting to wifi. It won't even detect connection spots.   I do not know what happened but other people with other apple products do not seem to have a problem.
Depending on location it occasionally catches it, however it has been down for WEEKS now.   I purchased my phone from the apple store in January.   It should not be acting like this regularly.
I tried resetting the network settings.   Nothing works.
I am afraid to reset it to factor settings because I feel this is an internal problem with the phone, not the software itself.
I am not in North America right now, so the only thing I can do is be inconvenienced and wait. Unless there are other suggestions?

USB Wifi Zyxel NWD-210N cannot detect wifi 2 router connection on Windows 8.1 Pro

I am currently running a Windows 8.1 Pro with current up-to-date patches.
I am having issues connecting to the wifi router with my USB Zyxel NWD-210N wifi adapter.
I turned off the built-in wifi card in the laptop.
And turned on the second USB Zyxel NWD-210N wifi adapter.
Windows 8.1 detects it as Wifi 2.
Even though I was sitting right in front the router, Windows 8.1 cannot seems to find the router.

Again, it is up to zyxel to update the driver not Microsoft. Microsoft doesn't make the OS compatible with every device, every device needs to make their hardware work with the OS. IMHO if there isnt a current Microsoft driver there is not likely
to be one. Contact Zyxel
You might want to try installing the driver in compatibility mode (try win 7)
To install in compatibility mode do the following:
Right click the installer>properties>compatibility>choose OS

Hi,
My iPhone has suddenly developed a new problem - it is not connecting to my WiFi. All my other devices are connecting so I know that this is not a problem with my router. If I bring my iPhone very close to the router, it does detect the WiFi and connect to it. However if I move 10 feet away, the connection gets lost. My phone is now 2 years old and I have started getting this issues only in the last one month. Is this a known problem with iPhone 4? Or is there some setting at the router level that needs to be changed?

I have factory unlocked iphone 4s. It can not detect my home wifi. I tried every possible alternatives ...resetting, restarting. Nothings working. It can detect other wifi in the range. My wifi is in good condition. I am using this from my laptop. But only my phone does not detect this connection ?

WE're going to need a bit more... what steps have you tried... what if any error messages do you get... at what step in the restore does it get blocked.... what happens,,, does it freeze, black out, not restart etc...

That's because you are sharing an Apple ID, and iMessage is tied to Apple ID. There are two solutions: You can select different addresses for the two phones by going to Settings/Messages and tapping on Send & Receive. Or, the better solution is to sign out of iMessage on his phone (Settings/Messages), then create and sign in with a new Apple ID just for iMessage. This will not affect your sharing your Apple ID for apps, music and videos.
