Middleware setting for B2C scenario

Hello Experts
i have a scenario where i have to work on a web channel (B2C shop) being as a middleware consultant.
i realy new to this scenario, what would be the roles and responsibilities of middleware consultant.
hence, i request you all could you please guide me  step by step
i will be greatful toyou ,if you can share your knowledge
Thanking you  in advance

Do i need to do any extra settings being as a middleware consultant
You may have to define, in your perception, what a midldeware consultant is and does. Your questions certainly go far beyond y persception of what they normally do
how this Transaction type(ISBC- B2C:internet sales) gets uploaded into ECC system when CRM is a lead system or if it is vice-versa
Middlleware is the magic framework that transfers the transactions both ways.
Depending upon the data exchange scenario for sales orders - you can modify the B2C orders in any system and the changes are immediately updated in the other system - through middleware of course
how this product catalog gets replicate into crm system
Do you already have a Product Catalog in the ECC system? -  I don't know the answer to this yet.
could you please elaborate more on this integrations

  • Middleware setting for sales order documents replication crm to ECC

    Hi,
Please help me on the following query:
what kind of middleware settings should done to get transaction documents(sales order(TA) and contracts) tranferred from SAP CRM to SAP ECC. Please provide tcode and navigate for settings.
    Thansk and Regards,

    Hi,
In the below Link you can find building blocks
    http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv12007/CRM_DE/BBLibrary/HTML/BBLibrary.htm
First of all you need to do settings in middleware (For all the settings, you refer to the Building Block guide C71)
Then you need to do a series of settings as follows:
Ensure that both the system are synchronized interms of Transaction types, Item categories, Item cat determinations and proper number ranges.
Go to SMOEAC and subscribe publication BUS_TRANS_MSG to R/3 Site
If you want to activate inter-dependent changes, make an entry in R3AC6 Tcode, with key R3A_SALES, param 1 as INT_CHANGE_ORDER, param 2 as Transaction type and scenario as A.
Similary in ECC system, make an entry in CRMPAROLTP table with key CRM_Scenario, INT_CHANGE_ORDER, Transaction Type and A.
I understand that this doesnot explain you in a detailed way. For more info search on help.sap.com

  • Middleware Setting for intial download - BP, Org, Products, Transactions

    Hi Team,
Please help me out the middleware settings (adpt objects etc) we need to perform for downloading data from connected back-end system as well upload to the back-end from SAP CRM system.
    Regards,
    Alx.

    Hi Alex,
You need to have adapter objects deifned both for upload to R/3 and download to CRM.
For download adpaters objects, you need to mention the flow(r/3 to CRM) and the tables which is will be used to download the data to CRM.
Similarly for upload adapter objects, you need to mention the flow(CRM to r/3) and the tables which will be used to upload the data to R/3.
You can also define filters on these tables which will restrict the data which will flow across these systems.
Once the adapter objects is define use R3AS to trigger the load of the object(intial load)

  • Are ERP Sales Orders supported for B2C Web Channel Scenario in CRM 7.0?

    Hi Experts,
We are on CRM 7.0 with ECC 6.0 as backend system.
I just want to know whether the third party tax system (Vertex or Taxware) is mandatory for B2C WEB Channel implementation??
Without using a third party tax system, how can we configure tax for B2C web orders?
We have ERP sales order concept in 7.0. Will it support B2C scenario???
    Regards,
    vasu

    Hi Ram,
-- Tax is configured in ECC using conditioni technique. They are not using any third party taxware/vertex system for this.
-- R/3 pricing procedure is intended to use for B2C transactions in Web channel and the pricing procedure refers to tax calculations. Even in B2c also they want to continue with the ECC pricing procedure.
-- The Requirement is to have pricing along with taxes and freight in the webshop, so that the consumers can pay the total amount using credit card as it is only the payment method available in the b2c Shop.
in the document "CAUSTAX_4.0" it was mentioned that use of third party system is mandatory for B2C scenarios. The relevant text is copied below.
As of CRM 3.1 and above, SAP provides a solution allowing you to use SAPu2019s jurisdictional tax method to calculate taxes.
Note: The use of external tax systems remains obligatory for B2C scenarios. However, if you are calculating tax in other scenarios and do not use external tax systems, this solution is applicable.
The solution consists of customizing changes in both R/3 and CRM. Even though you must make some changes in R/3, the basic process of calculating jurisdictional taxes remains the same. In CRM, the Transaction Tax Engine (TTE) calculates tax and you must configure it for the jurisdictional tax method.
My question is can we configure taxes in B2c shop using ECC pricing procedure? If yes, please provide the high level process steps.
    thanks in advance

  • Use of CPD customer in a B2C scenario (CRM)

    Hi,
We are trying to set up the B2C scenario, where the customer can decide if they want to register or if they only want to enter their address data (no real registration). In the 2nd case we need a CPD customer, which so far is not available in the CRM system.
So my question did anybody already implement such a scenario and can provide me with the implementation data?
    Thanks and best regards,
    Nanda

    Hi Nanda,
I understand CPD is one-time customer. Am I right? If so please see my suggestions
    1. For B2C scenario, irrespective of 'to which R/3 account group' the consumer is getting attached, the consumer must need to be created in CRM and must get uploaded to R/3 before replicating the B2C order to R/3. This is a mandatory process. By default the consumer will get attached to account group 170.
    2. If you want to assign the consumer to CPD account, then you have to use the partner function mapping between CRM and R/3 via the customizing and user exit.
    Thanks,
    Paul Kondaveeti

  • How can i set different number of iterations for different scenario profiles that we add to "AutoPilot" in load testing of OATS

    Hi,
I have few set of load test scenarios, I would like to add each of these test scenarios to "AutoPilot" and run each different scenario profile at different number of iterations.
As in Oracle Load Testing the "Set Up AutoPilot" tab I see  a section like this "Iterations played by each user: ", which says run these many iterations for every virtual user of all profile added under "Submitted Profile Scenario". So is there any thing like that to set different iterations for every scenario profile added in Autopilot.
    Thanks in advance

It's not a built-in feature to override a page's styles on a tab-by-tab or site-by-site basis, but perhaps someone has created an add-on for this?
It also is possible to create style rules for particular sites and to apply them using either a userContent.css file or the Stylish extension. The Greasemonkey extension allows you to use JavaScript on a site-by-site basis, which provides further opportunity for customization. But these would take time and lots of testing to develop and perfect (and perfection might not be possible)...
Regarding size, does the zoom feature help solve that part? In case you aren't familiar with the keyboard and mouse shortcuts for quickly changing the zoom level on a page, this article might be useful: [[Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages]].

  • Compulsory logon for B2C application

    Hi guys,
I know that we can implement compulsory logon for B2B. Is there anyway to do so in B2C application? Because I have one b2c scenario which needs single sign on.
    Thanks in advance!

What I can think of is to set the "B2B occasional user" scenario and modify the actions to force the user logon, even for browsing the catalog. Could it work?

  • MIRO MIGO ENHANCEMENT FOR INDIAN SCENARIO - IMPORTS PURCHASE ORDERS

ENHANCEMENT IN THE MIRO ACTIVITY. IN INDIA YOU HAVE TO POST 7 CUSTOMS CONDITIONS FOR EACH ITEM. MIRO ACTIVITY IS COMPLETELY MANUAL. ALL THE 7 VALUES, QUANTITIES FOR 7 CONDITIONS ARE TO BE ENTERED. CAN THIS BE IMPROVED TO HANDLE IN A BETTER WAY.
MIGO ACTIVITY FOR MANUFACTURING SCENARIO THE EXCISE VALUES ARE SET OFF WHICH ARE RETRIEVED BUT FOR TRADING SCENARIO WHERE THE EXCISE CONDITIONS ARE CUSTOMISED [ZCV1, ZEC1, ZEC2, ZAD1] TO LOAD ON INVENTORY THE EXCISE VALUES ARE TO BE ENTERED. CAN THIS ACTIVITY BE ENHANCED SO THAT THESE VALUES COME DIRECTLY FROM THE MIRO FOR DUTY POSTINGS WHERE ALL THE VALUES ARE ENTERED
    BEST REGARDS
    PANKAJ

    Hi,
In a normal import process, before the goods receipt, you are making invoice verification for Customs using MIRO and using Planned delivery costs as an option.
As the goods receipts doesn't exist, system is not proposing Customs conditions
As the goods receipts quantity is unknown and there always a possibility of partial invoice verification for the customs, system will not directly populate the values in MIRO.
Doing enhancements to populate this values may not be needed. Pls convince the user on the import process.
Any other option available for that, really dont know
    Thanks

  • SAP PI conceptual best practice for synchronous scenarios

    Hi,
<br /><br />Apologies for the length of this post but I'm sure this is an area most of you have thought about in your journey with SAP PI.
<br /><br />We have recently upgraded our SAP PI system from 7.0 to 7.1 and I'd like to document  best practice guidelines for our internal development team to follow.
I'd be grateful for any feedback related to my thoughts below which may help to consolidate my knowledge to date.
<br /><br />Prior to the upgrade we have implemented a number of synchronous and asynchronous scenarios using SAP PI as the hub at runtime using the Integration Directory configuration.
No interfaces to date are exposes directly from our backend systems using transaction SOAMANAGER.
<br /><br />Our asynchronous scenarios operate through the SAP PI hub at runtime which builds in resilience and harnesses the benefits of the queue-based approach.
<br /><br />My queries relate to the implementation of synchronous scenarios where there is no mapping or routing requirement.  Perhaps it's best that I outline my experience/thoughts on the 3 options and summarise my queries/concerns that people may be able to advise upon afterwards.
<br /><br />1) Use SAP PI Integration Directory.  I appreciate going through SAP PI at runtime is not necessary and adds latency to the process but the monitoring capability in transaction SXMB_MONI provide full access for audit purposes and we have implemented alerting running hourly so all process errors are raised and we handle accordingly.  In our SAP PI Production system we have a full record of sync messages recorded while these don't show in the backend system as we don't have propogation turned on.  When we first looked at this, the reduction in speed seemed to be outweighed by the quality of the monitoring/alerting given none of the processes are particularly intensive and don't require instant responses.  We have some inbound interfaces called by two sender systems so we have the overhead of maintaing the Integration Repository/Directory design/configuration twice for these systems but the nice thing is SXMB_MONI shows which system sent the message.  Extra work but seemingly for improved visibility of the process.  I'm not suggesting this is the correct long term approach but states where we are currently.
<br /><br />2) Use the Advanced Adapter Engine.  I've heard mixed reviews about this functionaslity, there areh obvious improvements in speed by avoiding the ABAP stack on the SAP PI server at runtime, but some people have complained about the lack of SXMB_MONI support.  I don't know if this is still the case as we're at SAP PI 7.1 EHP1 but I plan to test and evaluate once Basis have set up the pre-requisite RFC etc.
<br /><br />3) Use the backend system's SOAP runtime and SOAMANAGER.  Using this option I can still model inbound interfaces in SAP PI but expose these using transaction SOAMANAGER in the backend ABAP system.  [I would have tested out the direct P2P connection option but our backend systems are still at Netweaver 7.0 and this option is not supported until 7.1 so that's out for now.]  The clear benefits of exposing the service directly from the backend system is obviously performance which in some of our planned processes would be desirable.  My understanding is that the logging/tracing options in SOAMANAGER have to be switched on while you investigate so there is no automatic recording of interface detail for retrospective review.
    <br /><br />Queries:
<br /><br />I have the feeling that there is no clear cut answer to which of the options you select from above but the decision should be based upon the requirements.
<br /><br />I'm curious to understand SAPs intention with these options  -
<br /><br />- For synchronous scenarios is it assumed that the client should always handle errors therefore the lack of monitoring should be less of a concern and option 3 desirable when no mapping/routing is required?
<br /><br />- Not only does option 3 offer the best performance, but the generated WSDL is ready once built for any further system to implement thereby offering the maximum benefit of SOA, therefore should we always use option 3 whenever possible?
<br /><br />- Is it intended that the AAE runtime should be used when available but only for asynchronous scenarios or those requiring SAP PI functionality like mapping/routing otherwise customers should use option 3?  I accept there are some areas of functionality not yet supported with the AAE so that would be another factor.
<br /><br />Thanks for any advice, it is much appreciated.
    <br /><br />Alan

    Hi Aaron,
I was hoping for a better more concrete answer to my questions.
I've had discussion with a number of experienced SAP developers and read many articles.
There is no definitive paper that sets out the best approach here but I have gleaned the following key points:
    - Make interfaces asynchronous whenever possible to reduce system dependencies and improve the user experience (e.g. by eliminating wait times when they are not essential, such as by sending them an email with confirmation details rather than waiting for the server to respond)
    - It is the responsibility of the client to handle errors in synchronous scenarios hence monitoring lost through P-P services compared to the details information in transaction SXMB_MONI for PI services is not such a big issue.  You can always turn on monitoring in SOAMANAGER to trace errors if need be.
    - Choice of integration technique varies considerably by release level (for PI and Netweaver) so system landscape will be a significant factor.  For example, we have some systems on Netweaver 7.0 and other on 7.1.  As you need 7.1 for direction connection PI services we'd rather wait until all systems are at the higher level than have mixed usage in our landscape - it is already complex enough.
    - We've not tried the AAE option in a Production scenarios yet but this is only really important for high volume interfaces, something that is not a concern at the moment.  Obviously cumulative performance may be an issue in time so we plan to start looking at AAE soon.
Hope these comments may be useful.

  • Can't see messages on sxi_monitor for sync scenario?

    Hi gurus,
We are using PI 7.11. We found after no operation for ESR or ID for a long time, the system pops up the error "no authorization...", then we have to click esr on pi main page and logon again. Is there any parameter to change the user session or somthing?
    Thanks in advance.

your subject line seems different to the issue you are having...
or they could be the same!  have you set the messaging logging for sync scenarios in SXMB_ADM?
can you explain the actual problem you are having?  it makes no sense.

  • Inspection Lot status not getting changed to LTCA from REL for SubCon scenario

    Dear All,
For ERSA material 01 inspection type is active with indicator Post to inspection stock only as it can be purchased. No other indicator is set.
This material can be sent for repairing outside with DAMAGE valuation type (stock provided to Vendor with DAMAGE valuation type).
For SubCon scenario, Purchase Order with Account Assignment Category F and Item Category L has been created.
Once GR using MB01 with 101 movement, consumption posting takes place and as Insp type 01 is active Inspection lot is getting created with status REL CALC.
At this time, DAMAGE stock against Vendor is getting reduced with Qty of 543 movement.
Now when, reversal 102 with MB01 is done against Purchase Order and details are adopted with reference to 101 material document, reversal is taking place, but at the same time respective material doc's Inspection lot status is not getting changed to LTCA. It remains REL only.
For 122 return to Vendor using MBRL also, Insp lot status is not getting changed.
Has anybody faced such issue? Is this standard SAP?
Kindly throw light on the process, is correct process followed?
    Regards,
    Tanuj Parikh

    Thanks.
Thru MBST Inspection Lot status changed to LTCA.
Why system is not cancelling thru MB01?
