Midi Machine Control Parameters for Axiom 61 Transport

Greetings,
I have a fair understanding of controller assignements in LP 7.2.3 (Intel) however, I was wondering if the cycle button on the Axiom 61 can be programmed through MMC as the other button are.
Example: Stop button (CC# 149 "not control change, but rather MMC for Axiom")
MMC Number Value - 01
For play its - 02, FF - 04, RW - 05 and so on
My question - is there a MMC number value for Cycle?

Hope there's someone out there who knows if this is possible. I know it can be done with assignments in Logic, however, I would like to hard program it into the Axiom, by preference of course.

Don't think "loop" is an MMC function, more a function over the timecode master going back in time repeatedly and any slaves following the timecode.
Not sure what you are doing, but Logic can also output MMC on tracks with a tape deck icon, things like 'record enable' and so on - check the manual for details...

I think the settings that you are mentioning is through transaction 1KEF please clarify. Else elaborate where you have set the transport type manual.
Transport request are the domain of Basis people and is meant for transport from one client to another like quality to production.

I am unable to create the transport request for the below settings
Controlling->Profit Center Accounting->Basic Settings->Controlling Area Settings->Activate Direct Postings->Set Control Parameters for Actual Data.
Is it possible to move the request through transport request or do we need to create the settings directly in the target system.

Hi,
Please read the IMG help at the given path. There are certain profit center accounting settings which cannot be transported directly from the same path, but there is another node in SPRO path for doing this. If possible I will try to locate the path but I am not sure I can post it immediately as I am not having system handy.

MMC Midi Machine Control

It would be so great if Audition supported MMC, Midi Machine Control over a network, so that I could synch playback between other applications on other machines, and use a VTR to handle video playback on another computer.
Audition is so good for editing, I don't think it should bother with music composition, which is handled well by so many other programs, but rather just let us synch playback with them.
Using a VTR over a network is very efficient, and it would be great if Audition could work this way too.
Here's hoping...

We have setup provision variants for:
India, UAE, Africa (since travel expenses in these countries need to be settled in the local currency).
For each of the above variants, we have done the following settings in IMG node:
Travel management-->Control Parameters for Travel Expenses --> Define global setting
I have selected the respective country for the "Country grouping" field. i.e. for India Variant, it is set to India and similarly for UAE etc.
Is this correct? What is the impact if in India variant this field ("Country grouping) is set to UAE?

The individual records are sent in packages of varying sizes in the data transfer to the Business Information Warehouse. Using these parameters you determine the maximum size of such a package and therefore how much of the main memory may be used for the creation of the data package. SAP recommends a data package size between 10 and 50 MB.
Frequency with which status Idocs are sent
With this frequency you establish how many data IDocs should be sent in an Info IDoc.
Standard settings
Frequency 1 means, for example, that there is an Info IDoc for every data IDoc. In general, you should choose a frequency between 5 and 10 but not greater than 20.
Recommendation
The larger the packet size for a data IDoc, the smaller you should set the frequency. By doing this, you make it possible to get information on the respective data load status in relatively short time periods when uploading data.
Maximum number of parallel processes for data transfer
Select a number greater than 0.
Parallel processes can be set from the SAP core release 3.1I onwards.
These parameters are, therefore, ignored in releases before 3.1I.
However, there is a possibility of importing the SAP release 3.1I into earlier releases.
The more parallel processes that can run the better the performance of your system will be. However, you must bear in mind the number of available dialog processes here.
It will be fine and more effective if you use sap recomended values in those respective fields

Midi Machine Control (MMC) Parameters

Greetings all,
I am currently mapping an AXIOM 61 transport buttons into Logic's MMC tranport. I managed to get the STOP, PLAY, FF and RW to read correctly through MMC. I can't figure out what the MMC parameters for REC and LOOP. If anyone out there knows the MMC parameters for these commands, I would be most grateful. I prefer to use MMC over MIDI learn, simply because MMC seems a bit more wired, so to speak. Its really just a personal preference of mine.

Does Premiere Pro CC transmit MIDI Time Code/MIDI Machine Control?

I'm doing the trial of Premiere Pro. Previously using Vegas. Video stuff is amazing and deep. However, I'm primarily an audio guy. I do music production/audio processing in my DAW. Anyway, I use a Tascam DM-3200 as a control surface which is Mackie MCU control-compatible. The Tascam seems to work with Premiere a little clunky. Transport works sometimes, no scrubbing from the board. Fader control is also spotty. The control surface page is very basic with respect setup parameters for transport & faders. Anyway ideas?

I'm on Mac.. I initially installed the Korg MidiUSB drivers. I uninstalled it (based on your advice) but it doesn't perform any better.. I've added the Control Surface under preferences as a Mackie device. Here's what happens when I switch to Audio Track or Clip Mixer:
The mute, solo, stop, play record buttons all do nothing. Markers do nothing. The sliders do nothing.
The fader knobs at the top sort of do something.. They mostly fade left/right in the opposite direction I turn them, and it's super imprecise. Difficult to get it back to center or anything.
What am I missing... is there a step by step procedure to setting up that I should follow (the instructions and other forums aren't helpful).

Change in MRP planning control parameters.

Hi gurus,
i have an issue regarding the control parameters for MRP.
Presently while planning run i am getting some purchase requisitions and some planned orders for externally procured items with create purchase requisition =2( pur req in opening period) with opening period =0.
Hence, we want all the materials( externally procured) to be getting the purchase requisitions without any planned orders at all as the MRP controller can reduce the time converting the planned orders into purcase requisitions.
Can we go for the change in control parameter for create purchase req =1(purchase requisitions).
Please let me know if it has any side effects ????

Dear Naveen,
There is no impact in doing so or changing the MRP control parameters.
Se the value 1 for pur.req and use planning mode 3 while running MRP.
Even make these parameters as default ,like enter the values and click on settings--->save.

One MIDI input, one set of modulation parameters for the EXS24

This might be somewhat of a neophyte question, but here goes:
I'm interested in being able to set a specific set of modulation parameters for each note in series of notes inputted into the EXS24. I'd like to be able to bypass any sort of complex routing techniques with the modulation matrix or automating the parameters in the arrangement window. For instance if I input 2 C1 notes, one right after the other, of the same length, I'd to be able to set the velocity, filter values, ASDR values, etc. of the first completely independently from the second. The main reason I ask this is that for instruments such as a guitar (which has multiple strings), one note might be able to be played at high velocity, high release, low attack, for instance, while another one might be played exactly after that (on a separate string maybe) with low velocity, high release, high attack, etc., etc. In order to achieve this more realistic sound, would I have to work with multiple instances of the EXS24 (and then maybe just group them all together?), or is this sort of micro-manipulation of all the modulation parameters for each individual midi note input somehow possible with just one instance of EXS24?

Do you have a controller with polyphonic after touch? you can already have different velocities for note attacks and filters with a standard velocity sensing keyboard. If your board sends release velocity you can also have a different release for each note. With poly after touch you can have different vibrato depth for each note. If you want differing mod speeds for different notes I'd have to give it more thought...

Wrong parameters for multiple targets mapping started in Control Center

Dear experts,
I'm newbie for OWB and I got into the following error when I try to start the loading of one my mapping that consists of 2 Cubes as targets:

ORA-06550: line 1, column 847:
PLS-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'MAIN'
ORA-06550: line 1, column 841:
PL/SQL: Statement ignored
When I check the the package Main Procedure, I found the number of parameters for 'TRUNCATE_LOAD' and 'AW_EXECUTE_RESULT' doubled compared to the other mappings I have which consist of one target cube only. That explains why I got the error above. My question is whether there's any way to get the Control Center loading work?

Thanks for the reply David. I'm using OWB 10.2.0.4. Is this a known bug? I don't mind splitting into 2 mappings. My only concern is that ~60% of the data processing are overlapping. I'm using MOLAP. Is there a way to share staged table data on 2 different mappings?

How to control Inspection for Stock Transport Order Just like Reg Receipt

Hi Folks,
We do Stock transport order to bring stock to the dock from a Hub. I would like the inspection process (using inspection plan to drive) similar to the regular receipt.
I tried setting up material master with 08 , but in this case everything went to quality and all transfer posting done between storage locations created an inspection lot.
Basically i want to setup 2 inspection types for a material, 01 for regular receipt and something else for all stock transport order. Both should use the same inspection plan to determine the quality process.
Let me know if this is possible.

Again I am saying very much depends upon the process that you follow.
My way to look at it is "Main Intention of your is to cut down the inspection lots while transfering storage location to storage location".So what would I have preffered is
1.Either make copy of mvt type 311 & deactivate QM for that .Every time when I transfer material from Sto to Sto then use this movt type so that lot will not be generated.
or
2.Deactivate QM for 311 & only use the mvt type which is copy of 311 for STO orders along with 01.
can i setup the material with both 01 and 08 inspection type and will it work with inspection plan for both type of PO's?
