Midi piano plays the wrong notes

my piano (YDP-161) completely plays the wrong notes! its not just wrong by 4-5 notes, its wrong by 50-20 notes. its also completely random.
my midi interface is the icon midiport. and its installed correctly, and there are no drivers (since its plug n play) please help

Logic Pro 9 When I open a file which contains a composition of many midi and audio tracks, no sounds play or some tracks are playing the wrong sounds. The project was working perfect when it was saved and closed down.

In listening to iTunes radio, it often times plays the wrong genre of music

iTunes radio plays the wron genre. I selected a station for it's "listed" content, but iTunes radio "thinks" I want to listen to different type of music. Ambient, rest, sleep and therapy is NOT ROCK or HipHop or Alternative!
What good does it do to select a particular genre if the music is way off.

I have the same issue and it drives me bonkers.
In my case is the spanish music genre. I selected two pre-created "Merengue" station that itunes had available when I was setting up my iTunes Radio. I pay for iTunes Match, so I don't get commercials. yeah right!.
Not only do I get Spanish commercials, but over 50% of the songs are "Salsa" and not "Merengue". HUGE difference of genre and down right quite insulting. I understand if this was a wider genre like "Latin Hits", but the tittle of the stations as pre-selected by Apple are "Merengue latino 100% Radio" and "Dominicano Soy (translates to Dominican I am) - Top 40 Radio".
If I wanted to listen to "Salsa" music, I would create a station just for that, but I selected two "Merengue" stations because that's what I like. Both stations suck, and to throw salt to the injury, clicking on "Never Play this Song" doesn't have any effect on my selection. I always hear the same songs that are already in my list of never to play those songs again....
With the huge amount of "Merengue" music I purchase through iTunes, you would think the selection on their radio stations would be way better, but I'm baffled at how this is handled.
I would gladly go work for apple and separate the two genres where they belong. It's not hard, just listen to the drum beat, two totally different styles of music.
So I went back to pandora.
I'm happy.

IMovies 11 is playing the wrong picture on the right thumbnails

I've started to build projects with Imovies 11. On each of them I have the same problem when I insert a picture from Iphoto library
the thumbnails on the project is the right one, but when I play the movie, sometimes another picture is playing.
Sometimes the right one sometimes the wrong one. It seems random and I can't see any correlation to all of this.
Please tell me i'm doing something wrong, I can't believe that Apple can't handle a simple task like playing the right picture you put in your project

There is no direct option of connecting these files but you can do this with some trick. What you need to do is to select all the files in your catalog and select say Share->Email attachments. At this point, Volume Resolver dialog would pop up for connecting the offline files. Insert your removable drive of files and you can reconnect all.

On Your iPod go to Video Settings and where it says TV Out; make sure it says off.

Similar to my earlier problem, which was caused by a transposition setting, I'm also having a similar problem with the musical keyboard, now this is playing notes 18 semi tones above the actual key being pressed!! How do I fix this?

When you press space bar AE plays the wrong comp ?

I seem to have an issue with the spacebar in AE CC.
When I press the spacebar the current comp is not play, rather AE switches to another comp and plays that one instead.
This is an intermittent problem and the only way to fix it is to shutdown AE and reboot the software.
Any ideas ?

In addition to what others have said which should answer your actual question, spacebar is not the normal way to preview things in AE. You should probably go through these resources: Getting started with After Effects If you're doing something as fundamental as previewing in an unusual (and mostly wrong) way, I can only imagine how the resources linked there will help you avoid a lot of frustration in the future.

IDVD keeps playing the wrong chapter, no matter which chapter is selected

I have edited a movie in Final Cut Express. I put chapter markers in and then imported the .mov files into iDVD. I did not create a chapter marker at the beginning and I made sure that my other chapter markers were not in the middle of transition edits.
It produced a "Play Movie" and "Scene Selection" button, which looked fine but when I selected the "Play Movie" option, it started playing from Scene 7. If I select any of the scenes, it plays Scene 7. The only scene that correctly plays is the first chapter (the one I didn't include a chapter marker for!).
Can anyone tell me what I've done wrong please?

Yes You've spotted the iDVD BUG !
You most certainly have done like this
• start a new iDVD project
• import movie
• Found something to alter in movie
• Start FCE/P and edited some more
• NOW - Starting iDVD again it asks You to Up-date or Cancel
Neither of them works as You want.
Medicin - Only as far as I've seen here
• In iDVD close iDVD project and Start a new one
• And don't look back this time - else You have to re-do as a NEW iDVD project.

How do I get Music Video's to play in iTunes on iPad Mini with Shuffle option on Playlists (it's only playing the music not video's)?

Hi. I have got Music Video's on iPad Mini on a Playlist on iTunes. When I use 'shuffle' option the audio of the track is heard but no video is played (only a 'still' from the video). When using the Video option on the desktop, plays videos but does not allow you to 'playlist' them or shuffle them. I can shuffle Music Video playlist on iPhone and on PC. So why not on iPad Mini. Can someone help? Thanks

There does not appear to ba a facilty for this on the iPad. However there are a number of apps that will allow you to create and play video playlists. Try VP Lite which is free.

IMovie 09 Full Screen mode plays the wrong project.

I just brought home a new MacBook Pro 15" 2.8 GHz with 4 GB & 500 GB HD, I have existing iMovie 09 projects on an external hard drive. When I click on a project, select for it to play full screen and it plays an entirely different project that's not even in the same folder.
I use iMovie all the time for it's quick editing but very frustrated with accessing files & sluggish playback on various machines. Now it won't play back the correct project in full screen mode.
I have chased the hardware side of my issues with recent purchases giving me: 215 GB available on my internal hard drive, 811 GB available on my external G-Tech Raid that holds the video project and events and I'm using firewire 800. All updates are done, etc.
UGH! Any ideas??

Full screen mode is like the cover-flow view in iTunes. If you move your cursor to the bottom of the screen, you will see the cover flow and can select the movie you want.

Possible to have multipel midi tracks play the same instrument?

Maybe this is an easy task but I can't figure it out.
I want to have several midi drum tracks to play one kit in an instrument channel and solo and mute
the midi to find what I'm looking for.

Great, thank's! It seems like if I solo or mute a track they will all react on that command. Any workaround for that? But it will work great as it is, just have to do it a little different.

Hi guys , when I tap a song on my iPod touch it plays the wrong song and sometimes it comes up with the now playing screen but no matter how many times I press play it doesn't play ,what's wrong with my ipod

- Try a reset. It cvures many ills.

There are 2 things you can do, the first (and by far the easiest) is to delete all of the music off of your iPhone and then put it back on. Also you might want to check that everything is in the correct place on the iTunes library. If you downloaded any music from iTunes without using a cd and it is not in your iTunes library you can go to the iTunes Store and on the right side under "Quick Links" and select purchased. It will let you download anything you have ever purchased in iTunes.
The 2nd option is to backup your iPhone and save ALL of your apps to iTunes on your computer. Restore the iPhone and set up as a new iPhone, Don't worry all of your contacts will be in the cloud if you have it enabled. Once you set it up you can re-download all of your lost apps for free. Make sure your iTunes music is all in order and then sync the music back up.

Jamming with the Arpeggiator not right

So I know how to set up the arp in logic no problem, also delay lines and all that good stuff, the problem is this. On other Arps I can jam by playing arped notes very quickly then holding down the note when I want the arp to work.
In logic this is not working, for example when set to 16th notes if I press a key real quik it plays 2 16th notes, I want to be able to play just one note when the arp is active, then hold down the key for arpeggiated notes. The weird thing is that after it is recorded into logic it plays back right.
I don't have this problem with any other arp I have ever used, why is this happening and how can I fix it? If I program the same thing I play live in the piano roll it works right, but on input from my padkontrol or midi keyboard it does not work right.
Anyone else having this problem..
A good example is cubase. There is something called the apache arp and it works perfectly I can jam normally one note at a time and then hold the note longer for rolls or crazy 64th notes, in logic it wont work, If I hold a note for no time at all it plays like 2 16th notes or an entire 32nd note roll yet on other arps I can play real short notes to keep the arp from playing multiple notes then hold down for arped notes, hopefully you understand and can help.

I have resprted to using the padkontrols note repeat (Roll) function, I am dealing with the arpeggiators shortcomings but if it were not for the roll function in the padkontrol I would be pretty upset about it.
I think what is happening is that when connected to the instrument track the arpeggiator is actually playing the note off messages, it is the same thing for touch tracks you cant just hit your keyboard using a very short note and just play the first note of the region of the touch tack even in gate mode, it either plays the note off messages or is not receiving my midi note length correctly.
If it were not for these things I would be in heaven with logic, don't get me wrong the arp and touch tracks are still great they just don't function like I think they should. I rally hope it is something I am doing.
Please if anyone has the same issue and knows what to do please let me know.

As far as I can see, it's random. Everything. Nothing makes any sense!
A the moment, the iPhone is playing music with the SIM card, but without anything plugged into it, but it's occasionally fading in and out.
Oh, and I doubt this is related, but about two months ago the iPhone failed to show that the battery was draining - it was stuck at 100%. This went on for a few days, it wouldn't even warn me at the 20% mark, it would just shut off. This happened for at least three full charges - I remember at one point it suddenly started working again at about the 70% mark, I'm not sure if it was alright after that or if it went glitchy on the next charge... but in any case, the problem mysteriously never reappeared after those few days.
