MiFi: Does data transfer within the home network count as data usage
I want to use a MiFi with a wireless surveillance system, which can record 100s of GBs of video per month. If I send video to a PC all on the same network, does that count as data usage?
Traffic sent over the local network will not be counted against your MiFi/data plan. VZW charges for all traffic that is sent over thier wireless infrastructure/towers. If this your question is then that is the answer.
With that being said:
You can setup your cameras and disconnect the MiFi from the VZW network. There is a Disconnect button on the main page of the router admin page that allows you to do it. This would enable you to maintain the local network and confirm that the security system will work offline. After you confirm your camera to computer network is working you can reconnect it to VZW and see if you can access the computer / camera over the web.
As a local router the MiFi will perform just fine with your cameras and computers. There are certainly better routers you can purchase for that function but thats another subject. Its when you try to make your devices available over the internet where most people have problems. Since the MiFi is a 4G capabile device it is tied into the new SIM card and NAT network. In most cases public IP addresses are not assigned or accessible on the MiFi. This makes it very difficult to get through to your devices from a remote location (as I assume you want to do). Most users on this forum have not found a way around it other than reverting back to an older model like the MiFi 2200.

I was told at a store that I could use the Time Capsule as a "nas-server" and share files within my home network. Isn't that possible? I cant move files from my computer to the Time Capsule. But you can do it.. simply make sure that file sharing in the TC is working and turn on the guest account.
What computers or devices are you having issues accessing the TC?
It does need the occasional reboot.. maybe daily.. to give it a swift kick and wake up.
If you are running lion.. please install the 5.6 utility which you will find makes life much easier.

The issue is, the TC has no way of backing itself up. And TM cannot backup a network drive.. so any files that are only on the TC are going to be lost if it breaks down.. which one day it will.
Please do consider what it is designed to do..

The Wi-fi on my iPhone 4 does not connect to my home network or other networks that I have used in the past. I noticed this after I updated to version 6. I have tried to reset network settings ;turn off and on wi-fi; reset home network and it's still not working. Is there a fix for this problem?
Try resetting your network settings. Go to General\Reset\Reset Netork Settings. Sometimes this will fix things. If not, what type of router do you have, what network are you running (B, G, N, etc.).,

Airport time capsule does not appear within wi-fi networks on my OSX neither on my IOS devices, even though the backup for my OSX is on progress. why it does not appear?
Is it because the backup on progress?Hmmm.. ok.. well you are kind of on your own.. purchasing from another country leads to problems.. especially as the TC itself is regional .. all the setup applies to the region it is sold in.

The 6.3 utility will not work without it.
Make sure all names are short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.
Do a full reset and start over.
But there are no more controls.. you cannot set mode..
You can set wireless channels.. so do .. try different wireless names for the different bands.. and set fixed channels.. whatever your country allows, usually 2.4ghz you can use 1, 6, 11 but 13 maybe an option as well. 5ghz is much less clear and there are more variation. Just set to one channel and then another.
Set WPA2 Personal security with a 10-20 character password .. pure alphanumeric mix of upper and lower case and numbers. -
We are a two iPhone family, both on the same service provider. My wires iPhone is unable to connect to the home network where as mine is! In the settings her phone has no details for the IP address etc where as mine does! I cannot even enter the details manually.
I have done resets on off and nothing? HELP!What is that and how. I have 3 airports all configured identically and connected to one router via ethernet!

How to make use of adjacent data elements within the same buffer
Hi,
Does anyone know how to make use of adjacent data elements within the same buffer? To make my question clearly, I would like to give you an example. In my application, I set "sample to read" as 10 which means at each loop 10 data samples will be taken into a buffer. Now, what I would like to do is to do some calculations on adjacent data samples in same buffer. I tried to use "shift register" for this, but it seemed to me that it only can deal with the calculation between data from adjacent loops. In other words, it skips 9 data elements and take the 10th one for the calculation.

I hope you'll forgive me for distilling your code - mainly to understand it better. I tried to duplicate your logic exactly - which required reversing the "derivatives"-array before concatination with the current samples array. As in your code, the last velocity is being paired with the first position. If first velocity is really supposed to be paired with first position, just remove the "Reverse 1D Array" node.

While doing MIGO transfer within plant (movement type 311), any user is able to change the batch and can assign new batch no.The process is as under.
T.Code-- MIGO
M.type --311
Go in Transfer posting tab.
In "From selection",
Select Material and that material will be displayed in Destination selection automatically and can't be change.
Select Plant and that plant will be displayed in Destination selection automatically and can't be change
Select Storage location(from where material to be transfered) and we have to select storage location in "destination selection" where material is to be transfered.
Same way Select Batch No in from selection and indestination selection batch is not coming automatically and we can give any batch no.So we do not want to allow this change and the batch no must remain same as selected in "from selection".
Now how can i solved the problem and please suggest is there any role of abapers in this case and if yes then which concept we have to followed.This is standard program of sap so access key may be needed.So please guide me on above topics.

I need to create a delivery without reference for stock transfer within the same plant, movement 311, i.e. just from 1 storage location to another storage location.
I tried to use VL01NO with delivery type UL.
Now my question is how can I assign a receiving plant for a customer?
I can't do the MIGO or MB1B document because I need the delivery document (packing list, forms, Texts,...).
It's possible this option???

What is the item category you are assigning while doing VL01NO? Check the schedule line category for that item category assignment. That Schedule line category has an option for one step GI. There you can assign 311 or create a separate item category and schedule line category and in that SC assign 311.

I have a list that has more than 12 columns of type lookup with more than 5000 items and I am using a date field as an indexed column so I can restrict the results to meet the list view threshold. I am also using $select to restrict the columns to
meet the lookup column threshold.
If I run the query below it all works as expected:

If I run this query it does not work:

The lookup column "Lookup1" is using Title as the column's information and this should be working. What is interesting is that changing the lookup threshold has no effect on this but raising the list item view limit does make it work. The
date range is selecting less than 5000 items. So what am I missing here? I just want the Title for the lookup column and my query has about 10 items in it.Looking through the logs the error is thrown due to the following error messages:

Can the Home Network list be cleared ?
When I go into my HH specifically the Home Network page, the list on the wireless connections is massive, listing all devices that are no longer connected like my iPhone.
Is there any way to remove all these dead listings as the refresh button doesnt seem to do much.

Go to your Homehub advanced settings / Home Network tab.
Under Wireless Connections : left click on an item you want to delete , and you should get an option to delete, at bottom of the page.
Downside of this is you will need to do this for each enrty.
PS ... there might be a bug on your homehub cos refresh works ok on mine. Its a HH2b

Some more information on the above: OS: 7.2
1. None of the shutdown commands would work so I held the power button down and received a prompt that asked if I wished to force eject the drive, I selected
the force eject and then shut down.
2. Just recently I installed an eSATA _ Thunderbolt_ port multiplier compliant PCIe card (Seritek Q6G) into a thunderbolt external chassis (OWC Helios) (seritek Q6G).
This freeze data transfer also happened when I connected a Firmtek 5PM external tower to the iMac via thunderbolt cable.
The driver for the seritek Q6G was installed in the iMac previous to connection of any of the devices.
Both external towers mount ok on the iMac but have frozen during data transfer.
The initial freeze was with the Firmtek 5PM which is (JBOD)_ I thought that might have had something to do with the freeze_ it being JBOD_ so next I tried the Mercury Elite AL Pro Q2- which is formated in RAID 5. But then froze too.
Anybody have any experience with this?
Maybe I need another driver?
Or maybe some update to my OS?
Any suggestions welcomed.
Thank youHello BDAqua, thanx for the suggestions. Before I saw this reply I tried to first quit the finder and then to relaunch the Finder but that resulted was a blank gray screen.
In the end I ended up having to power down the iMac.
Fortunately the RAID array that was "active" seems to be fine and also has a firewire 800 connection so I can use it_ just not with thunderbolt until this issue is solved.
I'm going to check in the Applications>Utilities>system log to see if any clues are evident_ thank you for the suggestion.
PS: Nothing of note was obvious as a root cause in the Activity Monitor though.
hmmm....I was told that the Helios and seritek card were compatable and that the Helios didn't require any drivers..it will be a drag if there isn't an easy fix for this since this new PCIe card from seritek is the first to offer port multiplier compatibility for eSATA to thunderbolt...since they are both new I'm hoping that an OS upgrade will be the fix (presently7.2)...we shall see. -

2) Now amreading another list which is in the root site level so, i used spsite, spweb again and accessed that splist and trying to read single line of text column and user or group column.
Now when i am reading this, i am getting the error "Value does not fall within the expected range".
I went to resource throttling under central admin -->my current web appln and changed that value to 20 from 8
even after performing the above, i am getting the same error.
pls help anyone has faced this issue before.
