Mighty Mosue Out of box won't turn on

Hi, I just purchased a wireless mighty mouse and the thing will not turn on i did what this web site said installed the batteries the way the picture shows. I fliped the cover down and nothing happens. I know i have to pair the bluetooth but it won't even turn on i tried different batteries then it came with and still nothing. hope you can help thanks

Bring in the receipt for the MM.
You can go online to set up your appt. with the Genius Bar.
If you walk in you could be in for a wait.

What happened? My Iphone 6 straight out of box, won't turn on, won't charge, won't do anything

I have bought an iPhone 6.
Got it out of the box, held down the power button waiting to see the little logo pop up... nothing. Thought "well it must need a charge" plug it in, wait 5 mins, press power button, nothing. Wait half an hour, press, nothing.
So now, I know its a little strange, so plug into my Mac, nothing.
Do hard resets, nothing, contact apple support and do the "hold home button plug in" and hard resets. NOTHING!
I have bought several apple products and never had any issue, but this seems very very strange and so disappointing. I now have to go miles out of my way to a genius bar so they can look at it.
Anyone else have the same problem? I have searched and searched to find a way to fix it and cannot find a single similar instance??

Plug the iPhone into the charger that came with it and plug the charger into a know good wall outlet. Wait at least an hour. Then reset your hone. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the buttons and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot. if the phone starts u let it continue to charge until the battery is fully charged. If it doesn't start up Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have a technician examine your device. Or contact Apple Support.

MacBook Pro - New out of Box won't power up - Please help me

I have reformatted this question several times.
Buy 15" rMBP from Apple Store. Take home. Sits sealed in box on shelf in closet. Open sealed box. Won't power up.
Take back. Genius bar has no idea. No signs of damage - water/fall/fire etc. Cord works. They send to Apple to fix since I have Apple Care (3 year)
Apple Cares says Water Damage. This is impossible. Had out of box 5 minutes. Genuis bar vetted that as possibility.
Apple sends pics from Depot of water logged rMBP. Go back to Apple Store. Genius Bar confirms that it wasn't like that, notes system.
Tech support says pay $1200 to fix, or they are sending back.
What can I do?

IPhone 3GS - out of storage won't turn on.

My iPhone 3GS read that I was running out of storage then shut off and won't turn back on. I think the storage issue was related to iCloud back up and not connecting to wi-fi often enough. Is it not turning on because the storage is full? Is there anything I can do to clear it? I've tried connecting it to my laptop and it will pop up as external storage. I try to delete photos but it usually shuts back off and tries to restart before I can get anything deleted.

In case anyone comes across this and has the same problem, here is how I fixed it.
I plugged the phone into my laptop and turned off iTunes when it opened automatically. When the phone showed up as an external storage device I opened the DCIM folder and deleted photos one at a time. At first, I could only delete one or two before the phone would disconnect and reboot itself. But, after a while I was able to delete more photos each time. Eventually, I began deleting video files because they are larger. Once I got about 120MB or so free, my phone started up. I immediately turned on wi-fi and ran iCloud backup. Then, I cleared more space on the phone and synced it with iTunes.
So far, so good.

Connect your Q10 to the known working OEM wall outlet charger.
After being connected several minutes, LEAVE it connected and remove the battery a minute, and reinsert... does it reboot?

Assuming that the battery isn't empty (and it can take up to 15 minutes of charging before it will respond), then have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

How do I figure out what fonts won't turn into graphics?

Ok. I've made sure that opacity it set to 100% for my text but they are still appearing as graphics when published to my .Mac account. I'm not assuming that there are only certain fonts that stay as text (as long as you leave opacity at 100%). Is there a list out there?

Started a new site and then added a new Welcome page. Deleted text in Welcome template text blocks. Created new text blocks using trebuchet. Page published as text. First victory. I dragged the Welcome page out of the new site and into my old site, which has continuously changed text to graphics. I published and the Welcome page still published as text. I wanted the Welcome page to be my home page, so I deleted the old home page and put the new Welcome page in its position. I then renamed the Welcome page to Home. I published it and I still got text instead of graphics. I then copied the trebuchet text header I created on the Welcome page and copied it. I went into each of my old pages, deleted the headers that I couldn't get to publish as text, did a paste of the trebuchet welcome header and published. Everything published as text. I then went in and changed all outstanding copy to trebuchet and everything published as text. Arial seems to be my problem font.

Sky hd box won't initialise and says no signal

My sky hd box won't turn on properally. It says the box is still initialising please wait, then just says no signal. If I try to go on my planner or catch up it says the box is still initialising please try later.
Could this be a firmware update gone wrong?
I've manually done the software update by holding backup on powerup and it appears to go ok but the box is still saying the same thing after.
I tried to rebuild the planner but it says the box is still initialising please try later. I tried the reset and the screen saus housekeeping turns off, comes back on after a bit but doesn't fix anything.
I've tried holding left and right on the box to do a hard reset but nothing happens, no blue ring lights up.
Any ideas? As I said I thought it could be a bad software update as I noticed it start doing this about 4 am when I turned the box on after it had been in standby for a few hours.

Go to the signal part in settings,if it says both the signals are unlocked then the box is toast.We live chatted with sky and after a bit of to and fro and declining of the offers of an engineer,a cheap engineer,a cheaper engineer,we finally got a free engineer visit this coming Thursday because we said that we would just leave sky.It was their auto update that the box they provided couldn't handl,e so we felt it was up to them to sort out,whether we owned the box or not.They broke it,they can fix it.

My Nokia 5800 ran out of batteries this morning, so logically I'd charge it. However, it won't turn on, even with the battery charger! T3i won't turn on out of the box

I just bought a Rebel T3i and it won't turn on out of the box. I've done everything exactly as the directions say, but each time I flip the "on" switch, nothing happens. I've managed to turn it on but ONLY by flipping the "on" switch, taking out the battery, putting it back in, then flipping the battery door closed (entire sequence with the "on" switch in place). So far, of all the things I've tried, this is the only thing that works. Has anyone else had the same thing happen or can help me figure out what might be wrong? I live in Africa and had the camera brought here with a friend, so unfortunately, just returning it isn't really an option at this point. Thanks!

And you are certain the battery is charged before you try?

Brand new iMac 21.5" won't turn on - straight out the box

I just picked up my new iMac today and unpacked it etc, but it won't turn on. The wireless keyboard and mouse are supposed to be paired with it and ready to go, but the on switch on the keyboard won't turn the screen on (as far as I can tell there is no on switch on the iMac itself). The green light on the keyboard keeps blinking but doesn't connect to the iMac to turn it on. I've tried a different power cable in the iMac but that makes no difference. Does anyone know of a solution, or will it have to go back to the shop ( ) ?

The power switch is locate in the back on the lower left side as you look from the front. Did you connect the power cord and plug in the computer? There is no power button on the keyboard.

Just took my iPod classic 160GB out of box turned it on and accidently hit clickwheel or button and eveything is in language other than english. How do I get it back to english without being able to read symbols.

How do I turn it back to english without knowing what any of these symbols mean. I started clicking buttons and click wheel and can't seem to get to any section with various language options. Please some help me get it back to english.

There are two options. The first is to learn whatever language you have it set to, the second is to find someone else with an iPod Classic and read the English menu and follow it in your iPod. I also believe you may be able to set language perfunces from within iTunes while the iPod is docked, providing they are in English.

If wjosten's tip doesn't work try plugging it into a USB charger (not through your computer), wait about 30 seconds and it should come on. If it doesn't remove the cord from the phone and keep trying this. I've had this same issue and found a combination of the reset & charging cable tends to work. Sometimes it takes about 5 minutes for the phone to respond.

I got my ipod wet, dried it out, and now it won't turn on.

I didn't get it totally wet, but water seeped into the buttons, and if you held the home button or the lock button long enough water would come out. I dried it out for several days, but now it won't turn on or open itunes when I plug it in. It also had a low battery when I got it wet so now it has no charge. Is there any way to fix this without paying any money?

Your best bet is to return your iPod to Apple if it's under guarantee. I for one don't believe in guarantee since it's an utter waste, but there's still a chance that they might exchange it for a new one mate. If it's not covered then you've got to pay in order to get it fixed, I'm afraid. :/
