Mighty Mouse, how to hide, ZOOM quicktime?

Am streaming a baseball game. I have it zoomed to fill the screen. Mighty Mouse, wired (USB), anyone know how to hide it so I don't see it on the screen when watching the ZOOMED video?
Thanks!!!!!!!

Have you simply tried moving it to the right edge of the display and then not moving it? In Full Screen mode there shuold be a timeout to hide the mouse.

Safari 6.0 page zooms in (even if I'm not touching the mouse) how do I zoom back out?

I turned off zoom in sys pref so hopefully that will help… but when it zooms in huge "on its own" you have to use the back button to go back to normal size as the double tap doesn't work but half the time the back button is greyed out so you have to close the window and start all over which is a pain in the … so why is my back button doing this. It will do this on a page that I used the backbutton on previously?

  • Mighty Mouse: How do you program what buttons 3 and 4 do? NM

intel imac   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

If you have a Mighty Mouse, use the pop-up menus to choose the action you want for each of the buttons. The scroll ball can also function as a button. To set a button to open an application, choose Other and select an application in the dialog that appears. Choose Button 3 (for the scroll-ball button) or Button 4 (for the side buttons) to use your mouse with a video game, CAD program, or other application that works with a multibutton mouse. Choose Off if you want a button to be inactive.

  • Mighty Mouse won't zoom?

I am now onto my 3rd Mighty Mouse in 4 months and I am am having problems with this one as well. Each time the problems have been different, but always centred around the scroll button.
This time round I can scroll, but have no zoom capability. No settings have been changed and the function has been working previously. I have checked system preferences and zoom is set with use of the ctrl button as normal, but nothing happens.
Can anybody help? Does the fault actually lie within my Imac and the mice have been fine and something in there needs fixed or do I need yet another new Mighty Mouse (Wireless version).

  • How to Configure Mighty Mouse in Windows 7?

How to Configure Mighty Mouse in Windows 7?
For example the 3rd and 4th Buttons on the Mighty Mouse.
How to configure those actions in Windows 7?

There is no need for additional drivers.
    Why?
If you have a Wireless Mighty Mouse you have to turn your computer visible for other devices in the Bluetooth preferences - then simply search for Bluetooth devices, connect - done!
To configure the Mighty Mouse's buttons, you might want to have a look at a tool called X-Mouse Button Control (http://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/XMouseButtonControl.htm).

  • How do I keep crumbs out of my Mighty Mouse?

I keep getting crumbs in the little scroll ball and then it won't scroll.
    How do I remedy this?

I think a handheld vacuum attached to your desk (inlet facing the mouse) might work. Just turn it on while your eating. That should just suck up all those crumbs before they can get into the mouse. Or just use a napkin before you touch the mouse.
I kinda have the same problem with my MX Revolution. I occassionaly have to vacuum it out but the holes and crevices are larger than the Mighty Mouse, so it is a little easier.

  • Mighty Mouse Scroll Ball & Quicktime

I accidently noticed recently that the scroll ball on an Apple Mighty Mouse will scroll forwards and backwards through a Quicktime movie. This is pretty neat.
One problem. The volume slider also scrolls up and down! It doesn't matter where the mouse curser is placed. The volume slider and the video slider move up and down together. That's pretty stupid.
Is this a known bug or do I have something set up wrong? Thanks.

Thinking a bit more about this, I wouldn't expect an up/down movement to scroll the main video slider left/right. Up/down for the volume would make more sense as would left/right for the video.
Up/down scrolls text up and down through a window. Video editors scroll audio and video timelines left/right. Moving the ball up/down for this action is not a natural inclination.
Furthermore, I don't think that controlling volume via the ball to be that great of a feature in any case. Plus as I've learned, it's a little difficult to quickly scroll video without affecting the volume in some way or another.

  • Mighty Mouse - scrolling to zoom view doesn't work in Photoshop CS, why?

I just got my new G5. Apple's new Mighty Mouse doesn't seem to work right with the main apps I use. You can't use the scroll wheel to zoom the view, in either Photoshop or Cinema4D (3d app). I tried turning off horizontal scrolling in hopes that it would fix the problem. Nope. No zoom. Can you remove the Might Mouse driver so it is just a two button/vertical scroll mouse?

Doh! I thought that was on by default. It still doesn't work in my 3d app though, but I found out that is a know issue and the latest update should fix it. Thanks for your help.

  • How do you clean the mighty mouse

The scroll ball is getting stuck. Every once in a while I can get a little gunk (technical term) to roll out. This used to be the case with the old hockey puck mice too. How does one get into the mighty mouse to clean it out?

    Hello Ian,
Instead of using water and risking damage to the mighty mouse by causing a short circuit I prefer using pure methyl alcohol.
Methyl alcohol does not transmit elecricity, dissolves grease and easily vaporates...
I also used methyl alcohol for years to clean Intel and AMD Cpus off of heat transmitting fluids.
I described the whole easy cleaning process at

    in german.
Sorry for my poor english as I am a non-native speaker...

  • Mighty Mouse and Maya? How does it wok?

  • HT4721 How do I zoom in/out if using a mouse?

Recently upgraded to Lion.  I keep accidentially clicking somehow on the mouse and the opened application zooms in.  What am I doing and how do I zoom out?  Thanks.

It's probably the smart zoom feature of the magic mouse.  A Double tap with one finger will zoom.
Double tap until it unzooms.  You can turn the feature off in System Preferences > Mouse > Point & Click tab > Smart zoom.
