MIGO Error - Account 6500029 requires assignment with CO object

Hi Experts,
I am facing problem with new material code opened recently.  Valuation class assigned is ZSTD.
At the time of GRN, It is  giving an error msg :
Message no. KI235.  Account 6500029 requires assignment with CO object.
Kindly note I am not making an account assignment P.O.  It is a normal P.O.
Previously also with same valuation class, we have received no. of materials with out any error.
It should post the material to my inventory account 1220000 as it did with materials of the same valuation class earlier.  I don't know from where it is picking GL 6500029.
Kindly help.
Regards,
Rajneesh Gulati

Hi ,
In OBYC kindly check the Key BSX for the GL account assingment to the valuation class .
As inventory accounts are Balance sheet accounts and do no require an assingnment to a cost element .
If your account is getting changed then check the same in OBYC - BRX .

  • Error in VF44 require assignment of CO object

    Hello SAP Gurus,
We are executing VF44 for Sales order (sales order line has account assigment as WBS element) an error messsage - Ledger Account require assignment of CO object.
What to do in this case to resolve this.

You use a income account and it is cost element also and you have to assign a co object but cost centers are statistical posting object for income cost elements so you have to use a PA object. If PA is not active do not create cost element for that income account. Delete cost elemenent. If you can not delete or if you want it to be a cost element then create a dummy internal order for revenue carrying account assignement object...

  • Revenue GL assignment with CO objects

    Sir,
Can anyone tell me where Revenue GL (3*) where we need to assign with CO object other than OKB9.
As in my system no revenue GL are assigned in OKB9, I just wanted to know are there any other way of assignment. Just for my knowledge.
    Abhisek

    Hi,
There are two ways of assigning viz. OKB9 or cost element master data itself.
    1. Go to FS00
    2. Enter the GL Code.
    3. Now click on Edit Cost Element button.
    4. Go to Default Account Assignment tab.
    5. You may define the CO object here i.e Cost center or order

  • Error: "Account Symbol NOT Assigned to Flow Type".

    Good Morning,
When I runs transaction RERAPP, I got this error message: Account Symbol NOT Assigned to Flow Type.
However I reviewed the configuration specifically "Assigned Account Symbol to Flow type", and the account symbol is there.
I mean is already assigned to the flow type.
Do I have to review in any other place?  What else I need to do?
    Regards,
    Hector

    Hi Hector,
Please make sure that for any Reference Flow Type that you assigned for all the Flow Type Relations (check if you have all the needed relation that you need) (V_TIVCDFLOWREL) you have a correspondent (V_TIVRAACCDET - Account Determination Value).

  • FRM-18108 Error when opening a form with subclassed objects

    Dear Group,
I have 2 forms in Oracle Forms 6i. One of the forms contains an object group. The other form contains the object that I subclassed it to.
When I open the form that contains the subclassed object group, I get the FRM-18108 error.
If I open the form with the original object group, then open the subclassed form, there is no error.
Does this mean I must always open the original form in order to work on the one with the subclassed object group?
I hope there is an simple solution to what is something I am missing in my Oracle Forms setup.
    Thank you in advance.

  • Account 1910116 requires an assignment to a CO object

    Hi,
I had error: Account 1910116 requires an assignment to a CO object when i tried to post to GL Account 1910116.  Then I input the cost center.  Then i got Enter a true account assignment object with revenues error.
Please advice me on the matter.
I would appreciate if also can advice where is the setting for tru account assignment.

    Hi,
it shows that ,You made an account assignment for A/C 1910116, a revenue element, in controlling area 4444 to a cost center or profit center.
Cost centers and profit centers can carry revenues in the SAP system as statistics only. To ensure reconciliation between FI and CO for revenue element 1910116, a CO account assignment object must record the revenues as a real value. This object type is used for updating to the reconciliation ledger.
In principle, it is possible for the SAP system to automatically derive this CO account assignment object, the reconciliation object. However, all postings made in CO for costing-based Profitability Analysis are logged in the reconciliation ledger under "reconciliation object". In this manner, the reconciliation ledger identifies the exact values flowing into the operating profit. If you post reconciliation objects during revenue postings to cost centers or profit centers, you must do so while keeping the interpretation of the reconciliation ledger reports in mind. The sums of revenue postings to profitability segments, cost centers, and profit centers cannot be broken down further.
To avoid posting to reconciliation objects, make account assignments to a real CO account assignment object.
or else, you can change the message controll ,following below mentioned path :
Controlling --> General Controlling --> Change message control
    Hope it helps.
    Dhara.

  • FBCJ : 'Account 302024 requires an assignment to a CO Object'

    Dear All Experts,
This is regarding error getting while POsting document in tcode FBCJ
Getting error 'Account 302024 requires an assignment to a CO Object'
I have enter data in FBCJ for cash payment and saved it. But while posting tht document it's giving error.
I have enter Cost center also in that entry.
My GL 302024 is 'Insurance claim' of Other income group and defined as Cost element account in FS00.
Cost element category is '1' i.e Primary cost-reducing revenues."
Also checked field status group in FS00. Cost center is an optional field in Field status group.
For your information, i have different Profit center concept with diff. Cost center.
So i cannot assigend one cost center to all Profit center automatically through OKB9.
    Pl required your help urgently.
    Regards
    Swati Shah

    Dear,
As you said Insurance claim account is created in Other Income group but actually it should be created in other asset group. May be you have created this account as Balance Sheet account so that system expects profit center to be filled in the document. Cost center is never required in Income and balance sheet account.
And please make sure because lot of ambiguity appears in your problem since this is created in Other Income group and cost element is created with category 01.
    Try entering profit center.

  • Accounting  12546 requires an assignment  to a CO Object

    Hello Gurus
I am getting the error Accounting  12546 requires an assignment  to a CO Object   Please ignore the number it is my G/L number for which primary cost element is also the same.
I happens when i do transfer posting in MB1B movement stock from one material to other material
the reason for this error is the price in material master is different for two material so because of this PRD account key is called
i have checked all the options by assignment of cost elements and still it is not solved
This account is used in Account key in MM PRD - price difference  automatic account assignment
and the error is raised only one when i post large value say around above 10,000 rs in value
for less qty means value the error is not generated
    Any solution for this
( I have checked all the forums message related to this before posting )
    Thanks for Advance
    Rajesh

    Hi Rajesh,
    the answer is very simple.
for all automatic postings or automatic account assignments, you need to maintain the default cost object in OKB9.
For that particular GL account you need to main the automatic account assignments in OKB9 settings
Please do let me know if you need further clarifications
    Best Regards

  • Transfer Posting (MB1B): Account XYZ requires an assignment to a CO object

    Hi,
Iam doing a Sales order to Sales order transfer using MB1B (Transfer Posting) and movement type 413 (E). However i get an error "Account 526020 requires an assignment to a CO object".
Can someone advise as to where i need to assign the Costobject.
    Please advise.
    Thanks,
    Safi

Do you really need to post something to a Cost Centre? If its a SO to SO transfer, what kind of cost is posting to the Cost Centre?
I would suggest you analyse the GL Account (why it needs an assignment to a CO Object?) and consider changing the Field Status Group or assigning a GL that is not a Cost Element.
If you really have to assign a Cost Centre, then OKB9 is your best alternative. Enter a Common CCtr that will collect the costs and maybe let you allocate the same later.
    Cheers.
